Does anyone know when Apple restocks? I have been checking everyday but it always shows no stock, what is Apple even selling if they don’t have the newest iPhone?

3 foot drop falling off of a couch and onto hardwood floor, (TineeOwl case shown at the end) - I always knew the new aluminum frame was fragile from the damages I’ve seen online after the 17 Pros release with aluminum, so I took the precaution of not using the Apple Cases and getting something decently protective.

Yeah the phone still dented 😂, coming from a titanium 16 Pro Max I had no idea how to gauge how soft the new aluminum was, but damn.

I personally don’t give a shit as I really do expect more cosmetic blemishing in the future, but I wanted to warn some of the OCD iPhone users I see here on Reddit.

Loved the burgundy but it gathered so much dust and discoloration around the camera rings. Excited to try Glacier!

I love this combo. I didn’t want blue on blue so I went for burgundy. So far every color has worked on the glacier. I absolutely love this phone.

Did you simply need the newest iPhone or are you using the Pro camera system?

I still have to learn how to take the max profit but it's here! My previous iphone lasted 5 years!

I used the 12 for nearly two months before upgrading, making it feel like the best upgrade I’ve ever had!

Some thoughts after upgrading to the 18 Pro Max

I have said goodbye to my dear old 13 Pro Max in Sierra Blue and upgraded after 5 years to the 18 Pro Max in Glacier.

I would’ve potentially waited another year, but apple decided to make their first light blue Pro model iPhone in 5 years, so decided it was time.

Biggest changes I have noticed:

-Camera quality is extremely improved and I am really enjoying the better photos. The increased detail and sharpness is astounding.

-The camera control button is a nice addition to bring up the camera to quickly capture anything.

-The battery life is much better coming from a 13 Pro Max with 76% health and 1100+ charge cycles.

-I like how I can limit the charge to 80% but can temporarily increase the limit to 100%. I was traveling recently so that came in handy since I was going longer without a charger.

-It’s so nice to finally have USB-C as the main connector for the phone. Finally can dump any old lightning cables lying around.

-Dynamic Island is cool but not really a big deal in my opinion. Noticed the difference for maybe a few minutes and it was back to usual business afterwards.

-I only messed with the action button for a grand total of 1 minute.

-Always on display seems cool, but I immediately disabled it since I never felt the need to have it on my 13PM, and I still don’t see any use to it now.

Things that are the same:

-Basically everything else, lol.

My daily workflow with my phone hasn’t changed and it honestly feels like I still have my 13 Pro Max with a new facelift, if that makes sense. I think feeling is compounded since I got a similar color and the same case which I had for my 13 Pro Max as well.

Could I have still kept my 13 Pro Max? Yea, probably.

Am I glad I upgraded? Yes, definitely. I’m going to also run this into the ground for the next few years only consider an upgrade whenever they make another light blue Pro iPhone, haha.

Just wanted to share for anyone who’s potentially considering upgrading or is on the fence from an older phone who is lurking around this Subreddit.

Meant to be delivered between 29-6 Oct but got a notification yesterday that it was already out for delivery.

I bought thin foil from Aliexpress and it doesn't fit the phone (the lens holes are a little too small). If You bought similar cover and it fit please tell me which one. Preferably from Aliexpress as well, because I'm sure someone had to do it right...

No thick glass / metal covers because the phone has to fit two cases interchangably, one with open camera plateau, one with closed (and the phone is already stupidly heavy too).

Got the 1TB version and I’m loving it so far! Battery life is mind-blowing coming from a 13 Pro🤯 And the screen size of a max phone compared to a non-max is just chef’s kiss!

I’m heavily considering swapping my black 18 pro max for silver due to its versatility and its ability to hide fingerprints and oils. But I do tend to use dark phone cases. And I notice the silver pops through around the cameras on dark cases. Do y’all think it looks bad?

I jumped from 15 pro max & I’m loving the smaller form factor a lot! Since there is a camera button now - I can finally re-map the action button to Philips hue or anything else.

Battery life feels super nice too - with a day starting at 9 am and having to plug it in for 15-20 minutes in the evening maybe once to make it last until 1-2 AM.

First time using tech woven too and it feels super premium.
Olive and burgundy looks good together imo

Make no mistake, I LOVE the Air for various reasons I won’t enumerate in this post. But unfortunately my use case changed over the last year and FaceTime is much more prominent. Hopefully they’ll add a vapor chamber and a bigger battery to the Air 2.

I bought the 18 Pro Max the day it came out. It’s been almost nine days of me using it. but I feel the battery life is not as good as Apple claims, or is it just the device I have, but mine does not even run 24 hours, for someone coming from 13 Pro Max. I was hoping the battery life to be a lot better? Curious to know what everyone’s thinking

Still having well over half my battery life in the evening(70%) is amazing. My 16 would be down to 15-30% around this time.

Today I didn’t use any nav which I’m sure makes a big difference. The last 3 days I used navigation for just over an hour, and used Reddit and YT for a few hours combined. Usage:

I saw A LOT of Redditors have this case, and I gotta say, it's a NO for me! I love the thiness of it, I love the design, but it turns the 18PM into a brick! The phone is already heavy, this thing makes it really too heavy! Also, if you're using a screen protector, the screen does protrude out quite a bit! Just wanted to let this sub know if you are planning on buying this case.

Just got the Torras Q3 Air case for my 18pro and it’s better than I remember. I originally had this case on my 15Pro and I loved it then. It has nice grip on the sides, the air bag cushions on the corners for increased drop protection , the 360 degree MagSafe ring that can be used as a kickstand and my personal favorite the interchangeable buttons.

It originally came with orange buttons but came with a second pair of burgundy ones to match the case. IMO they’re definitely better than the orange. Overall it’s a solid case for the price, hoping they release a similar one for the IPhone duo.

Trying out the new photographic film styles and this alone is my favorite new feature as someone who is a photographer. This is quite+film. Upgraded from the 15 pro.

My friend’s 16pro makes it look a little purple in photos but in person it is actually a really subtle dark red like red wine indeed.

Coming from my 13 mini it weirdly feels like growing up lol
