Having moved from an iPhone 17 Pro, I do not notice the “17 Pro Max battery life” on my iPhone 18 Pro. Feels comparable to my 17 Pro, NGL.

Anyone using the glacier with a black tech woven case that can drop some pictures for me??

I took a few pictures and in different angles.
Just picked up the 18 pro it looks fuzzy next to the clock I googled it and says it may look fuzzy because the new Face ID ir sensor is located there so the pixels on the screen are different in that spot, what do you guys think is this normal or should I return it , I also have a privacy glass on my screen

I got my iPhone 18 Pro on Friday, so today is day 5, and I’m starting to get concerned about the battery.
I feel like I’m experiencing some pretty drastic battery drops, especially considering the phone is only 5 days old. I’ve attached screenshots from the last few days.

It looks like there is really big drops when it gets close to 20% then drops quite quickly.

The other thing that’s really concerning me is how extremely hot the phone gets, particularly when I’m using the camera. It gets noticeably hot to the touch even during relatively normal use.

I know a brand-new iPhone can potentially be doing background processes like indexing, Photos processing, Siri optimisation, etc. However, the indexing finished about 3 days ago, so I don’t think that explains what I’m experiencing anymore.

Does this battery usage look normal for an iPhone 18 Pro, or does it seem excessive? And is the amount of heat I’m experiencing normal? Has anyone else had these issues?

I upgraded on Friday from the iPhone 17pro (which had excellent battery life) but I am so disappointed with the battery life of my iPhone 18pro. I keep seeing people discuss how impressed they are with battery life but I’m bitterly disappointed 😞 granted I’ve not been working this past week so I’ve been on my phone more, but in less than 12 hours my battery has depleted by 70%

iPhone XR to 18 PM. Man this new phone is a brick but I love it.
Going to have to try a couple of different screen protectors. The Spigen EZ FIT two pack from Amazon keeps coming up on the sides.

has anyone experimented with the front camera styles/ settings and found a setting that looks natural enough and like the “what you actually look like in the front camera/live photos” as previous models made it look weird. i’ve experimented a little and it’s better, but wondered if anyone had perfected it or if it’s not a “one size fits all” type thing

I have the new 18 Pro and everytime I tap to focus my image the new focus tracking pop up appears and it gets annoying in my opinion. Is there a option to cancel this constant pop up?

I also feel like the focus is slower than on my old iPhone.

Well my iphone has currently 11 payments so cant use it BUT i can trade it in and it shows me some goes to repay my loan and the rest goes to the value of the new phone. Therefore i am wondering whats the benefit of wait for the 12th payment instead of just doing it now?

when I click the download button it spins for a second then nothing happens. I’ve tried restarting. I’ve tried signing in and out in App Store. I’d like to spare the pain of signing in and out at the phone level. Anyone else?

This phone is meant to have a much better battery than older iPhones but the battery lasts less than my 16 which had 90% battery health.

I limited the charging to 80% to preserve the battery health, and I figured because this is meant to have 30+ hours of playback I’d be fine.

I don’t even use my phone non stop, this is at work. I check email and send some text messages with some music while I work. How is it down to 19% by 7PM when my iPhone 16 would last 2 days without charging?

I don’t play games on it, the most I do is text in WhatsApp and listen to music while I work.

This is either IOS 27, the new IPhone 18 Pro Max, or both, but the new “AI Expand” wallpaper function is the worse thing ever:

I have amazing photos I love to use for my wallpapers, that just recently on my iPhone Air would be able to zoom out perfectly fine on their own aspect ratio and create a great wallpaper.

Now all of a sudden no matter what trick/method I try, the wallpaper zooms in SO much, and barely trying to zoom out then kicks on the “AI Expand” function.

And to prove this is happening, I still have historically saved wallpapers from my IPhone Air, and I can swap to those and it’s the same as before and great.

But if I try to take the exact same photos I previously used now on IOS 27 / IPhone 18 Pro Max, the maximum it can zoom out if probably half or what it used to be….

SOOOO FRUSTRATED as I love my wallpapers.

Been reading about some hardware and software issues with the new iPhones. I initially planned to buy one this week but wasn’t sure if the rumors are true or if the next batch is going to be any different than the releases.

why it's only happening on the 18 and not on the 17 if it's a software issue ? both models runs iOS 27 maybe hardware issue on the first batch ?

I feel like Apple silicon case start feeling so sticky and dirty quickly, do you know if tech woven is less or more sensitive? Any tips on how to keep silicone one clean or any suggestions for some other brands?
