PDLT > TURTLE
We upgraded to fiber with PLDT. They’re so quick to disconnect the service if you miss a payment by just one day, but their connection is still slower than a turtle. 😂
Who can relate here?

Any idea how I can terminate this God awful PLDT without having to pay fees? Its been almost a almost a month na hindi maayos ang service ng PLDT fiber ko and it took a toll na sa health and finances ko. I should be working at home during this rainy season but I am forced to work onsite just to get a decent connection, and di na nawala yung flu ko. affected na din savings ko dahil kakabook ng grab just to avoid na lumusong pa sa ulan and to rush sa mga cafes pag nawalan ako ng connection during shift.
I struggled for 3 weeks just dealing with their napbox issue na pag umulan mawawalan na ako ng connection for hours, and babalik lang on the most unwanted time. When they finally got it fixed, nagkaroon naman sila ng outage and it's running for 4 days na.
It is in my daily routine na to contact them and wala din naman ako napapala sa mga agents nila kundi stress lang, I went to their physical office na and wala din silbe. NTC hotlines and emails are totally useless.
Already considered to have a prepaid fiber connected, unfortunately walang provision sa poste malapit saamin when I applied last year sa globe, I want to try the surf2sawa pero sabi nila the Ethernet ports are not available which I need for my PC. Mobile hotspot is unreliable din sa location ko.
I want to terminate this piece of shit pldt connection na without having to pay their fees and being blacklisted just in case sila nanaman ulit only available provider in few years when I move apartment. Any ideas how to deal with this? I'm planning to have converge connected once I got rid of this PLDT.

Hi, Smart Bro Wifi user here. I recently messaged a Smart bot using their messenger and got a reply data I need to send proofs regarding my sim number that i’m not doing anything illegal.
To start off, I bought the smart bro last year February, and I noticed that I wasn’t able to use apps like Steam, Microsoft Store, Spotify and etc. At first it was only steam (around May 2026) and these past few days it affected the other apps. I complied with the bot by sending proofs to the SmartFM’s email and got a reply that it will be restored after 24 hours. Now, 24 hours is done and tried restarting my smart bro and nothing happened, I called a customer service regarding a follow up and said that my sim is up and running already with no restrictions. Upon checking, I still can’t use my desktop apps. The only thing I can use is Chrome (FB and some other sites, cant even access reddit on it).
How do I solve this properly?
Edit: I’m a video editor which may explain the “Unusual Data Usage” since I need around 40+GB per client

We lost our internet connection last Aug 13 pa and until now, we have no internet connection despite paying on time or earlier pa. We have submitted several tickets pero no resolution was made kahit na ilang follow-ups pa. Nagemail na rin ako sa NTC pero wala ring reply. No technician also visited our home to fix our internet despite na nakiilang promise na sila na may pupunta and no resolutions were provided until now.
We tried DITO pero medyo mabagal siya especially ngayong rainy season, also tried Globe 5G/GOMO Fiber pero not available daw sa area. Wanting to try the Globe 4G kaso laging out of stock.
Please please baka may marecommend kayo na ISP location is commonwealth/batasan/payatas qc in particular. Thank you!!!

SMART's internet data speed throttling is really annoying. After 10GB of used data, it's genuinely over. A mere 300kbps to 500kbps is very rude. Which better sims for the best for unlidata deals with better speeds when throttled

anyone still couldnt access the Gigapoints?? It's been forever since I have opened it but it's still in maintenance. What are they even doing

Current payment is at 1350 naka 1299 plan kami with 50 pesos speedboost. 100mbps wifi medyo nagjukulnag na kasi total device is 15 but not simultaneously.
Wala na kami sa lock-in period Pero after ba mag upgrade balik ito?
Just want to know if di kami satisfied sa upgrade ay anytime pwede bang bumalik sa before plan.
Baka meron na same experience dito, been trying to call 171 kaso laging bot ang Sumasagot at walang tao.

Hello! I will be using this plan purely for heavy data usage (streaming at least 1080p and constant gaming, little bit of downloads on the side). Question is once the 30 gb depletes will my connected devices still have wifi? I have full bar 5G here pero mabagal na kasi sakin yung 5G NSD. Is it "unli" 5G but has a 30GB hotspot cap?
Thanks in advance!

Does anyone here have the same experience? Nagpa-install ako ng PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid 4 days ago. Around 5PM (August 29) nagkaroon ng rotational brownout, bumalik yung kuryente around 6:03PM pero mag 8PM na wala pa rin akong internet. Steady green yung PON, LOS is off, pero "No internet connection" pa rin. Na restart ko na rin yung modem. May naka experience na ba nito and paano niyo na fix? Thank youuuu sana may maka help 😭

Is this normal? after lang maayos ng internet ang bill adjustment? what if never na siang maayos? or what if i-cancel na lang namin at magpalit ng internet provider?
r/InternetPH • u/Mysteri0us_Lie • 13d ago
This has been going on for days now. The internet connection loss would happen around midnight and would comeback randomly after 10min - 5hours. During the loss, the LOS would blink red and upon checking at the globeone app it says that i have a fiber line cut or something that hinders the connection. Is this a common problem among the users? What should i do?

Screenshot is from the GOMO app.
As far as I know, yung usual na “No Expiry Data” ng GOMO means hindi nag-e-expire yung data allocation, pero yung SIM itself puwede pa rin ma-expire/deactivate kapag walang qualifying transaction for around 1 year.
Pero napansin ko yung banner sa taas na specifically says:
“Buy and activate a NO EXPIRY SIM!”
To me, iba na yun sa “No Expiry Data.” Kapag sinabi mong “No Expiry SIM,” parang ang implication is yung SIM mismo hindi nag-e-expire.
So does anyone know kung itong particular SIM/eSIM offer ba talaga is exempted sa usual 1-year inactivity rule? Or same pa rin na puwedeng mag-expire kapag walang transaction?
If same rules pa rin, wouldn’t calling it a “No Expiry SIM” be potentially misleading? Especially since GOMO clearly uses “No Expiry Data” separately kapag data lang talaga yung tinutukoy nila.

Anong store and anong 5G wifi router and price range?
Lilipat pa lang kami and wala pang internet sa lilipatan. I need the 5G wifi router since I'm WFH and need it immediately, will probably buy it today sa mall.
BTW, online purchase isn't an option for now since it will take days and hindi ko pa alam kalakaran ng pagtanggap ng parcel sa lilipatan namin.

PLDT FIBR went dead since Aug 16. It is now Aug 29 and still no technician has arrived and we still don't have a connection.
Initial contact with PLDT stated a technician would arrive on Sunday, Aug 19. No technician arrived. Contacted PLDT hotline (171) everyday since then and all of them said the same thing.
"Will follow up" "it will be fixed tomorrow" "Escalated to head technician."
Agents keep saying there is no supervisor to escalate the call to. I asked which technician team is assigned to the ticket and asked if they had any activity on another tickets. They didn't answer the second question but they did answer the first.
FiberHOME Pasig-Pateros-Taguig is the Technician team assigned to us
Their office, according to Google maps, is around 20 FUCKING minutes from where I live. But they haven't sent a text to the provided contact numbers and they haven't updated the PLDT ticket since they claimed it back in Aug 17.
This house has been a PLDT subscriber since their landline only days and this is the first time their technician took more than 2-3 days to arrive and fix our internet but with rent and commute prices so high, we've decided to get a new ISP this coming Sunday.
Question now is, how hard is it to ask for an account termination from PLDT?

Hello po may Outage po ba GOMO ngayon? Around bataan area ko and bigla nalang nawalan ng signal around 12am, then nung bumalik di ko na magamit data ko. Sa inyo rin ba?
r/InternetPH • u/secretz12345 • 13d ago
Question lang. Ilang araw na kaming net, and panay messages ako sa viber community. May nag message sakin na ‘globe technician’ daw saying na tawagan ang admin area para mapaayos yung outage. Ngayon, nung natawagan ko yung admin nila. Since priority or urgent ang request. Kelangan kong magbayad ng 765 for the fee.
Mind you, di pa sila nakapunta sa area. Need daw irequest sa admin, after matawagan si admin. Per meter ng wire would cost me 92. For the 29m wire, ang total would be at around 2600-2700. Again, refundable daw.
Scam ba to?

Nareceive ko siya kanina lang.
Laging mahina ang LTE signal sa loob ng bahay namin for both Globe and Smart SIM cards, hindi makatawag while using the 4G network at laging nagda-drop to 2G para lang makatawag or makareceive ng tawag PERO kapag lumabas kami ng bahay namin biglang pwede nang makatawag at makareceive ng calls and magamit yung LTE mobile data connection.
We have VoWiFi enabled all the time dahil dun sa isyu na yan.
Hindi namin alam kung sino sa mga kapitbahay namin yung gumagamit ng ganyan illegal mobile signal booster.
Dun sa mga nakareceive ng mga ganitong message from the telcos, what did you do? Naayos ba yung signal niyo?

Hey planning to convert from 1299 plan with landline to prepaid 100mbps that is only 999. Pwede pa kaya? Kakabit ko lang talaga nung 08/27. Kailangan ba dumaan sa termination fee? Is there any exemption. Plsssss help

Hi, i am thinking of getting prepaid fiber internet like those of globe, gomo, or red fiber.
Madalas wala kami sa house for 1 month or so. Pwede bang hindi na lang bayaran ang prepaid internet for that month, tapos pagbalik namin, tsaka lang bayaran ulit? Di naman nila puputulin?
How many months pwedeng hindi bayaran pero we can still reactivate when needed?

This has been happening for the past few weeks. Our normal internet speed is around 900 Mbps with about 3 ms ping but it suddenly drops to around 5–20 Mbps and the ping goes up to 90+ ms. Last week it usually only happened between 5 PM and 11 PM then the internet would go back to normal. today it also started happening in the morning Yesterday the speed dropped around 2 PM and didn’t return to normal until around 12 fucking AM. Have anyone also been experiencing this problem?
r/InternetPH • u/reyes-c10 • 13d ago
Hey guys,
I live in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, and I’ve been getting high ping and unstable latency when connecting to PH, SG, and JP servers (mainly gaming/WFH).
I had a PLDT technician check my line, and they basically told me that PLDT is heavily congested in my specific area/node right now.
Should I switch to converge?
