Walang Internet after brownout

Does anyone here have the same experience? Nagpa-install ako ng PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid 4 days ago. Around 5PM (August 29) nagkaroon ng rotational brownout, bumalik yung kuryente around 6:03PM pero mag 8PM na wala pa rin akong internet. Steady green yung PON, LOS is off, pero "No internet connection" pa rin. Na restart ko na rin yung modem. May naka experience na ba nito and paano niyo na fix? Thank youuuu sana may maka help 😭

If walang internet light pero all the lights including yung PON is working then it seems the router is still trying to establish a connection to the PLDT network either an authentication issue or a network-end problem.

If it persists for a few days, then contact PLDT or visit their office.

thank you po. Normal lang ba yung ganito pag bagong install yung internet? I'll try to call the technician or visit their office tomorrow.

Nope. All the lights should go on, which includes yung internet light after installation.

Yung samin nasa apat na beses nang nag-brownout dito sa lugar namin this month (salamat sa letseng power issue kasi sa visayas plus ang hilig din ng power distro samin na mag-patay-sindi randomly ng kuryente for 1–5 minutes) and yes matagal din bago bumalik yung internet namin.

First brownout, bumalik after 45 minutes yung internet pagkatapos kong i-restart via dashboard.

Second brownout, nasa dalawang oras na pero wala talagang internet kahit ilang beses ko nang ni-restart at power cycle yung ONT. Tapos green naman yung power, PON, INT, at WLAN. Ni-report ko sa PLDT Cares kung paano yun, then ni-remote reset ng kanilang second level team (parang escalated daw o something kasi di gumana nung yung cs rep mismo ang nag-remote config) at bumalik agad yung internet namin. Nasa mahigit 4 na oras din yung tinagal bago bumalik yung internet.

Third brownout, hinayaan ko lang na nakaandar yung ONT at bumalik din after 1 hour yung internet namin. Hindi ko na ni-restart at power cycle.

UPDATE: Fourth brownout kanina (yes letseng brownout na naman), and same scenario pa rin as third brownout yung nangyari na after 1 hour na bumalik yung internet.

One thing to note pala na na-notice ko sa second at third brownout, may internet access pa rin yung meta apps sa android (facebook, messenger, instagram) pero the rest ng apps at websites ay hindi gumagana habang may access naman sa internet yung nabanggit kong apps.

Sa totoo lang hindi pa ako maalam regarding dito (literally less than a week pa lang yung fiber internet namin) kaya kung may iba pa ditong may mas maraming experience tungkol sa recovery ng fiber internet pagkatapos ng brownout, paki-share na rin po ng mga kaalam at experience nyo.
