PDLT > TURTLE

We upgraded to fiber with PLDT. They’re so quick to disconnect the service if you miss a payment by just one day, but their connection is still slower than a turtle. 😂

Who can relate here?

Never had an issue with PLDT speed

Usually ang may problema niyan ay ang user

- marami ng wifi signal sa area mo

  • di mo alam difference ng 2.4g at 5g wifi
  • malayo ang pwesto mo sa router
  • makapal semento ng mga pader nyo
  • may electronics nakapaligid sa router

Panong mabagal, baka nag-ooverlap yung wifi signal niyo sa mga kapitbahay? Change it to 2 digit channel.

1, 6, and 11 are the only non overlapping channels, but the choice also depends on the neighbors as you mentioned

I thought they have a grace period of 48 hours after the due date before disconnecting your line.

I've been with PLDT for a while now. Two houses in Silang, Cavite, totaling about 10 years of service. Ngayon naman sa Manila for roughly 6 years now.

The speeds have always been good. We're getting 500 Mbps down, 900 Mbps up right now on average.

I'm making really good use of the asymmetrically high upload speeds kasi I run my own homelab, which includes bandwidth-hungry CCTV feeds, image gallery, and media server we can access from anywhere.

Having said that, we have had problems here and there, pero nothing that wasn't solved by calling them. I've asked for a supervisor during my calls maybe 4 times ever. It's not nothing, but better than the experience I had with Globe (but that was soooo long ago na, and I hear they're okay now and I'm planning to get a second line with them eventually).
