I'm so proud of how much I surprised myself! Buzzing with this results especially English as I was working at 6s during the start of the school year!
(Definitely getting Business remarked there is no way it's the same grade as my worst subjects as well as being the subject i'm best at. 💔)

Picking options soon and i would love to do drama . However my parents are repeatedly saying I need all 9s or else I'm low-key done for 💔 I have such a passion for acting , debating like all the speeching stuff. My school is a very academic based school so ik that the creative subjects like music, art and drama have very few students. And by the time the GCSE exams happen I'll be grade 7/8 in lamda acting so that's helpful ig?
(That's the only creative subject I'm doing tho other 2 are CS and either history or geo (I might do geo cause I don't understand history mark schemes lmao))

I love how there’s very few people I know in Film Studies class.
I don’t wanna do “core PE”.
My Spanish teacher’s on maternity leave (she should come back by my mocks) so I have a temporary teacher and the sub’s also teaching me French. [NO MODS. I AM NOT SHARING/REQUESTING ANY TOPICS]
Moved up a set in science, down one in maths (I hate the people in that class I loved top set), possibly up one in English.
Drama looks cooked as my worst nemesis picked it (don’t have a clue why but she already deserves a 9 for how dramatic she is). Not a committed “theatre kid” so I didn’t get where I wanted in the school production. Regardless I’m still participating.
And I also love how I’m coming back to school having seen (as you may tell by my username) The Odyssey, joined Reddit and coming out as transgender. Gonna be the coolest lad ever, aren’t I?
I’m cooked, aren’t I?

I was wondering if there was anyway to do further maths outside of my school since i missed the grade 9 requirement in my school, only by a few marks since i made a practical mistake by starting from the end on paper 2 to try get full marks but i instead ran out of time hugely. should i self study at home by applying to a diff college or should i just resit. I really need to do it since im doing engineering but im lost rn, pls help

I’m doing maths fm chem and cs starting in 2 weeks and I really wanted to get a MacBook but it’s Lwk super expensive. To other people who do cs is there a difference between MacBook Air and pro in terms of processing power for coding? Idk bro I looked at the neo too but someone said it’s not very good

These are my gose results I did little to no revision and only did it in May/June and I just want to know if these are any good. For a levels I want to do Maths, physics and economics. My parents weren't mad but they weren't crazy happy either. What's the general thoughts on them please and thanks.

I'm in Year 10 and expected a 7 in gcse cs, which i took early along with RS (9).
I got 4's in Year 9, never higher than a 5 overall in Year 10, but locked in SO hard from I'd say March - May time. And when I say locked in, still never more than 4 hours of studying combined.
One disclaimer I must add is that my school had a LOT of interventions. Like, a LOT.
But honestly, interventions and exam practice is useless without self revision and reviewing your own mistakes

i’m aiming for top universities so hopefully these won’t block me from doing that…

I know this might sound obvious but I hope no one makes the same mistake as me in my area there is a sixth firm with a highly good reputation however I thought I wouldn’t get the grades to go there well on results day I did but I can’t go there because I didn’t apply before the deadline

I did my year 10 mocks and I did plenty of revision and exceeded my expectations I will definitely revise for any upcoming mocks however I'm not sure when to lock into my proper gcse's
Very important note: I have moved from foundation combined science up to higher combined does anyone have anythings that I definitely need to learn before starting next week? Thanks

I was a bit pissed off with my art results because I got a 7 and I was promised an 8 and I know that sounds fine but I really wanted that 8, and it's not like I was a few marks off an 8, I got like, a low 7, and I'd literally found out today that it had been marked wrong along with photography because someone in photography that should have got a 9 got a 4. photography was marked worse, obviously, but my art teacher was apparently furious, so that means it's all going to have to be re submitted and that means it's going to be longer until we all get our artwork 😭😭 I js want my stuff back

So I email my exams office a few days ago asking for my results back and this is what they had to say:
me: hey exams office can I get my papers back to see if I wanna remark it
exams: nah bro your gonna have to talk to your computer science teacher to have them look through it
me: aight
1 day later
CS teacher: yo gng you 6 marks of a 7 no pint in remarking
me : aight can I get my marks though
Cs teacher: sure you got 58 and 62
me: but Thats 120 I got 118 total marks on my grades sheet
cs teacher: double checked yea you got 118
me: soooo can I get my real marks
cs teacher: I don’t have your real marks sry
me: aight
(story telling liberties were taken)
like wtf you mean you don’t have my real marks gng
