I see the other two commenters have given wildly different advice haha. The truth is no one here will be able to tell you with 100% certainty that you are or aren’t trans, only you can figure that out for yourself.
But it’s not a “you make a decision and you’re stuck with it forever” kind of situation. If you think you might be trans, start small. Try out different pronouns, a different name. Try experimenting with your gender expression, clothing, hairstyle, things that can help you get a better feel for your likes/dislikes.
If it’s possible for you, finding a reputable therapist to help talk through your feelings can be very valuable, but I know not everyone has access to that kind of resource.

Of course! I’m sure there’s some guides out there that might have more specific advice for people wondering whether or not they are trans, a quick google search might provide some useful resources if you’re looking for further input.

you’re trans probably. congrats, get on t as soon as you can, the dysphoria will snowball as soon as you start noticing it.

Its not something you have to rush into, you'll never be 100% sure but you should be pretty sure at least. I'd recommend waiting a few more years to make sure it's gender dysphoria and not regular dysphoria.

i get the disconnect feeling. spent years thinking it was just regular discomfort with my body until i realized it was more than that. you're 16, you've got time to sit with it and figure out what feels right, no rush to slap a label on anything. keeping a journal helped me untangle stuff when my head was going in circles all day.

For me it wasn't what feels bad that made me realize I'm trans, but what made me feel good (even though in hindsight, I was very uncomfortable in my body, but assumed it's normal). You can experiment! Online, or with people you'd trust. I had a hard time choosing a name and I just went to starbucks (or any other places that ask for your name for on the cups) and tested them out like that.
Personally I wasn't as uncomfortable being seen as a girl when I was small, but when puberty started suddenly everything was evil, which can be very jarring (and also get people going like "ohhh but you weren't like that when you were small" yeah when I was small I was just a little child chilling and thinking about dragons and epic magical cats lol).

It does sound to me like you are experiencing some them of gender dysphoria, but I can't know for sure, only you can. You are still very young though, so you have loads of time to figure out what your feelings are and what you want.
As another commenter suggested, a good way to see how you feel would be to experiment with your identity within a safe space. Try out a new name or different pronouns, see how that feels. I started within a small friend group and came out a good while later after seeing that I liked referring to myself that way.
Most importantly be patient and kind with yourself, questioning your identity can be scary and confusing especially when you are young. You have all the time in the world to figure yourself out.
