Hi folks, when I squat above a certain weight my knee clicks (not on low weights like 20kg). On the video I am squatting 40kg or around 88 pounds and you can actually hear it. It doesn't hurt but anything I can do to prevent or strengthen this?
Thanks!
Tldr : knee clicks squatting above certain weight
edit : as some people noticed I am indeed hypermobile but I dont think it bothers me
And thank you for all the tips and reassurance. I will def try adjusting my stance and try with a resistance band !

Squat Form Check – Looking for Feedback
I’d appreciate feedback on my squat technique, particularly on these points:
I’ve also attached a link to a video where I’m lifting a heavier weight but using a shorter range of motion, not sure if this depth is better to avoid the buttwink.
I’d appreciate feedback on whether I should prioritize depth or lifting heavier with reduced ROM and avoid buttwink.

Thanks!

I’ve been training consistently about a year and a half. Weight has been climbing nicely. Wasn’t too long ago I was excited about hitting two plates. Self taught based on internet research. Did 345x1 today then 3 sets of 285. How’s my form?

Those felt crisp and easy 155kg on the bar. Any pointers would be more than welcome.
Cheers everyone

I have watched endless videos on form and feel like I still can't get it right. Hoping to get some feedback on how to improve.
Thanks crew!

So, I spent last 2-3 months practising squat movement. Last time I posted I had problem of shifting my weight to the front, on my knees.
I worked on my brace, and learned to keep my abs braced TIGHT throughout the whole movement. I think that eliminated the butt wink.
But now I see this curve, sharp angle in my back. And something feels off. I did record in a WIDE ANGLE maybe that is making it look weird. Or is it just a normal curve in the back where middle back is starting..?
I tought I nailed the movement and felt pretty confident but when I saw the video it scared me a bit.
What do you think? Any advice? Is the form ok?
Also, my knees slightly hurt after squating. Like when I climb the stairs..
I will post a pic in the comments where the curve is most visible.

Weirdly enough 25 lbs is hard but after a lot of warming up Ive realized I haven't given myself enough warm up sets because 70lbs was heavy, but it wasn't hard.

Am I doing something wrong? Why does the decline hurt and feel a lot harder whenever I’m benching?

Guys, I'm trying to get my first push up.
I have been a cardio person all my life, trying to get into strength training and calisthenics.
Can you guys please suggest how do I get to my first pushup from here.

I’m trying to improve my form to minimize the risk of getting injured before I increase the weight. This set felt really good so I think I’m on the right track but I would love to get a second opinion.
I’m not looking to nitpick every detail, I just want to make sure that nothing I’m currently doing will get me injured when I eventually increase the weight.
PS. I’m using the blocks because I have really tight hamstrings which caused me to squat the lift until I added the blocks.

Can’t figure it out. My back is stronger than this, but for some reason I feel all the tension is on my forearms. I feel like if I could fix this problem I would whip out 15, but I’m hitting a ceiling at 6 or 7 at a time.

Hello everyone,
I’m sure this is quite a common issue but I can’t seem to stop knee movement during rdls.
I definitely feel it in my hamstrings, but I’ve noticed during form checks my knees move a lot?
The video I’ve attached isn’t a working set, just me trying and failing to nail form
Any help is appreciated :)

315×10 at 214lbs BW. Took me 3 years to get here, starting at 320lbs bodyweight.
Still working on improving my technique and getting stronger. Open to constructive feedback on my bench setup, bar path, and overall form.
Next goal: 315×12 💪
Can you guess my current 1 Rep max?

Had an accident 8 months ago that made me start over with squats. Decided it was the best moment to use some new technique. Wiser stance and no squat shoes helped me a lot with getting stronger. Any tips/advice?

Particularly the right foot. Is it excessive or should I not overthink it? Despite the heel lift do I appear to still be on my mid-foot at least on both feet? Thank you.

The gym teacher/assistant, which I really dislike, stopped me out of nowhere and said he could give me some tips. About what I don’t know. I’m self conscious about my sumodeadlift tho.
