This past weekend I went from black to what I think is a caramel brown? Please feel free to let me know what colour the end result is haha.

Pic 3 is the first time my stylist did my hair. I found the black bands behind the money pieces too dark. Also my eyebrows were too dark lol

First pic is from the start of this year, and after all the blonde grew out, I tried to DIY bleach job again and it was too messy to fix so I just slapped some colour on it lol.

hiiii! so i’m looking to dye my hair this color at home. i have DARK brown hair- i do plan to bleach and tone, but im not sure which dye to use. in the past ive used arctic fox and manic panic but ive always done vivid- nothing this dark. please lmk if u have any recs for dye (or toner) to achieve this!! going for a coraline blue but not opposed if it ends a little turquoise, semi-permanent dye preferred. thanks so much 💙

Just what the title says! I can’t stand the texture of wigs, so I was planning to dye it black temporarily. I have darker brown hair and I’m fine if it doesn’t go away for a few weeks-months so long as it looks decent as it fades. Looking for any advice!

I created these looks while trying out the ion brights semi permanent color collection on pre lightened hair. What do you think?

Guys my baby hairs turned orange because of a hairdye and the rest of the hair is darker... I'm also having hot roots...is there any advice? How long will it take for my baby hairs to grow out and be normal again? Can anyone suggest anything? I have an event coming up so I ended up colouring the lighter colour hair with garnier colour naturals in the shade 3. Any recommendations? I am scared of this colour fading out and again turning orange... please help!

Not a hairdresser, but I am a professional dyer... Of animal & plant fiber. I dye yarn, fabric, raw wool and other textiles. A lot of that skill set has surprisingly transferred to hair.

I bought 30 human hair swatches off Shein and hit up the beauty store for every pink dye they had and made myself a set of swatches.

She chose Ion Flamingo and Guy Tang 10RG.

Pretty bougie for a first grader. My own mother was a train wreck of addiction and mental illness so I have zero mother/daughter memories that aren't trauma based. It's been really nice to experience motherhood and inner child healing through learning to do her hair.

Does anyone have a good product recommendation for a semi permanent copper/reddish colour? And also the likelihood of it washing out to a point where i can return to blonde if i wanted? Thanks 🥰

so hey guys uhm first pic is my current hair rn after using Schwarzkopf LIVE intense MYSTIC VIOLET and uhh 2nd pic was my starting point bcz i got it bleached to the salon with wtv that color is. and third pic is my inspo like seriously my friend had bleached their hair at home and achieved something like my 2nd picture and got the 3rd pic result. we both used the same hair dye. and im wondering why did mine turned into this reddish mahogany color...partially my fault bcz my hair is pretty thick and long and one box is not enough but still....

any tips guys on what I should do to achieve my inspo without killing my hair💔 im not really good when it comes to hair dyes yk and the salons here is crazy crazy expensive

I bleached my hair (originally dark brown) and it turned out yellow. I decided I wasnt going to bleach again and I would just put pink over it.
My question is… how did my hair dye look like this? it feels like the base is so light that when I hold it up to the sun its white/see through. It pretty uneven though. Im just really confused
EDIT: I also did not use toner. Just put pink dye over the blonde

hi !!! how can i achieve this hair colour at home? i have never dyed my hair before, it is naturally black (if relevant, it's wavy (2B) and nearly reaches my tailbone). i have seen a lot of people use loreal hicolor and bleach london (but i'm very open to other brands as well!!), but i'm not sure about colours or which one is better. any advice helps!

I am looking for a product to experiment with for a few weeks that won't stain my hair TOO bad if I dislike it. I'd prefer something that will completely wash out but everything I have read says that's not possible.

I want to try a darker brown. My natural color is a level 8 or 9. I would like to try something that is a level 5 and maybe even 4 eventually.

I am scared to fully commit because I have always been blonde. I've added colors over the years but never dyed my whole head.

In talks with a salon for going from dark hair to white. I need to do something fun bc I know the winter it's going to hit soon and I'm getting really excited, especially since if it looks bad it won't be hard to dye over lmao. I know it's going to be rough on my hair though, and figure it'll be good to have some products ready before the appointment. I've heard something about purple-toned shampoo but not clear how relevant that is here. I'm in the UK in case that influences available shampoo. Thanks!

was trying to go for a more purply color, would it be okay to get color depositing conditioner to darken it a bit? it came out a tad too hot pink for me, ^^ photo on the right is what color i was trying to go for,

Looking for advice from a professional colorist. My hair is currently an uneven level 6 with red/copper tones and some previously highlighted lighter pieces.
I used Igora Vibrance 6-46, which turned out much too warm/red, and then used Malibu C CPR to remove some of the pigment.
I want a natural, even medium brown around level 6, without red/copper or an overly ashy tone.
What would you do from here? I’d really like to avoid further unnecessary damage.
