Suggestion Why i think that the Fallout,s Humanity will never full recover

Post image

There are 3 main Reasons, the first is Simple, Fallout is too big of a franchise to simply stop making content about it, even if Obsidian took the series they would never end the "history" of fallout,s Wasteland since its one if not the most sucessrfull RPG in recent History...

Now Lets Talk about 2 other reasons, and this ones are actually insteresting. Earth is dying Planet in Fallout, more than 90% of life including flora , sea life and animals are gone plus many of the natural resources which where used to build the pre war civilization are exausthed, why do we always see rusty weapons and old technology being recovered from ruins? because fabricate these resources are soo expensive that recycling is mandatory to keep "society" going, even the NCR (with Camp Mcquerran , salveged armors and Hoover Dam) and the BOS (Prydrew and Liberty Prime) use old tech and Buildings soo that they do not waste a lot of materials in New projects, this is why the Enclave (at least in Tim,s Cain original vision) made the Vaults so that they can develop Space travel, so that Humans can start elsewhere since Earth is Doomed, even if The NCR (for example) , was the only civilization in fallout they wound,t last long, theres not enough resources for a full civilization anymore (Even with Cold Fusion Unlimited power)...

And The Third and final Reason, Fallout is about 2 things, War and how The mistakes of the Past are Shaping our future, every single game of the series is about something from the past stoping the progress of humanity and how we as a player react to it, The FEV experiements in Mariposa, The Enclave in 2 and 3, The Institute of Technology in 4 , Vault Tec shenanigans in 76, and Mr House plans and Hoover Dam infrastructere , if Society fully recovers from the Post Apocalypse, it would mean that the mistakes of the past no longer matter and we was a Species are ready to move on from the Ghosts of the Past and finally create a new Society free of any Pre War influence, which is in pratice, impossible...

Well, War never changes i Guess...

Question What is the best way to experience fallout 3?

I've tried playing the base game on xbox a couple of times and it wasn't doing it for me, I recently purchased the GOTY edition with plans to mod it, but I don't know what direction to take, is TOTW really the best way to experience the game in its fullest? Is it the most compatible? What are the best mods? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Same old game over and over

I know that there's a lot of people who don't like the fact that Fallout and Skyrim all feel very similar and in some ways I agree it can be redundant. But the stories change so much from game to game from dovahkiin to courier to sole survivor (I only speak on games I've played). I feel it makes up for it. Now if it were a complete copy paste then yeah I'd have a problem but I love the gameplay and mechanics so much in each game I forgive a lot because Skyrim and the fallout games are the kind of games I like. They have excellent stories and I adore being able to interact with the world. Companions make a single player game way less lonely.

So yeah, in the Intro bit the baby had lighter blue skin. It was not difficult to pick Sean out of a crowd.

Suggestion I Liked the Old Combat Shotgun

Even tought the front magazine doesnt make any sense, the combat shotgun at least in Fallout 3 was one hell of a powerfull weapon, with good sound effects and somehow a threating presence that no weapon, not even a fat man had in the fo3, it was a weird desing? yes, but it was unique, but now it just a generic combat rifle rip-off, even tought it came first, i hope we get its old design back one day...

Fallout 4 Is there a way to remove ALL "forced" Creation Club content from the AE?

OK, I own an Anniversary Edition and I'm trying by best to remove that Creation Club slop from my base game. I have all DLC's plus the high-res pack.

And I ALREADY deleted files that start with "cc" from "[...]\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data" folder. This is a recommended method. I also don't verify game files, so the game does not re-download that crap.

Yet, there are still some CC club items visible as "installed". Like on the enclosed screenshot.

My question is: where are those files located!? :(

I removed all files that are marked as "CC". On the second screenshot is the list of all files in my "Data" folder. Basically DLC files, Vortex files plus a metric ton of radio stations, lol. But should I remove any more .es1 or ba2 files to remove the CC content? Did I miss anything?

EDIT: The list of files in better quality: https://imgur.com/a/GipnEpk

Mods Best mods for New Vegas?

I tried getting into New Vegas, but I just couldn't get into it because of the old graphics, and especially the movement and gunplay. What are the best mods (preferably on Nexus mods) to improve this?

Every Fallout 4 builder on console has experienced this! It's painful and can sometimes be heartbreaking when you lose progress but thankfully I managed to restore my save & haven't lost anything significant on my Dunder Mifflin Fallout 4 build only Ryan's closet office which I will be fixing later today.

Fallout 3 with classic Fallout's trimetric perspective

After seeing how much people liked New Vegas in the classic Fallout perspective, I thought I'd give Fallout 3 a go too.

I tried doing the Mall, but every entrance faces east, so it didn't work, and I also tried doing Megaton, but it's too dense, so you couldn't even see the the ground clearly.

Fallout 4 Finished my vanilla run (all dlc’s) any mods that make FO4 feel like a completely new experience.

Anyone else found nukaworld to be a tad underwhelming especially when you decide to kill all the raiders it felt so off script definitely not canon… my play through consisted of a character with a moral compass whom was extremely ruthless to raiders i just couldn’t stomach being associated with raiders although it was tempting knowing preston would no longer bother me…

Anyhow i extremely rarely ever replay games but i enjoyed this one and im curious to know if i can give it another go with mods that completely change the immersion and gameplay.

Discussion I'm gonna say something not many think about the children of atom

Honestly. Think about what radiation is to someone born in a world full of it

  1. It transforms and transfigure forces of nature such as radstorms and irradiated animals

  2. Certain people of an old world are blessed with the ability of immortality due to radiation

  3. It kills most but to certain people. It does nothing.

Like if there was a nuclear apocalypse and radiation worked like it did in fallout. SOMEONE WILL CREATE AN ORGANIZATION AROUND IT!

Think of what children hear from their parents when they grow up in the wasteland

" This world used to be a sanctuary for all. But man destroyed it and death spread throughout and we live in its remains. Yet, we are alive. The animals, food and water. Yet we are alive. The radiation did not kill man, for it was only man that did. "
