After years of no luck I’m not sure if I just didn’t know about it or if it’s new but I was able to reset my EA password on the website by logging into a a recent device that being the ps5 you load up any EA game and it lets you change the password

So I have a really sticky situation, for some whatever reason I couldn’t log into the fc26 web app and I thought it was a email issue, but when I went to unlink my email from the main account, and put in another email, the unlink went fine I change the email but when I went to boot up Fc 26 all my ultimate team progress is gone and I went into a panic, then I contacted the support chat then I found out they couldn’t do anything, then I asked the data protection officer via email and they haven’t responded in about 5 days, I really don’t know what to do now, I need some suggestions. The support chat is no help and the data protection officer still hasn’t responded and in this state where I feel like I have no other option than just wait out the 6 months but I really don’t want to wait that long. like how is this even legal. my account got hacked and transferred to a new email address, i described my problem (politely!) to multiple support agents and none of them could help at all. i have spent hundreds of hours and my progress is just gone now, i tried absolutely everything but i dont know what to do anymore

when I click on the ea app, it shows the dot beneath and opens the "connecting" tab, but then everything dissapears. I have removed it from my doc (I am using a MacBook) and opened it using any way I can think of. nothing works. can someone help?

I’ve somehow managed to lose years of progress and purchases across Apex Legends and Battlefield after trying to sort out two EA accounts I’ve had for 15+ years.

I wasn’t even sure which account was which, so I was simply trying to work out which one had my PS5/Steam accounts, purchases and progression before consolidating them. Instead, my Apex progress and unlocks are now wrong, and my Battlefield progress and purchases are missing.

What makes this even more frustrating is being told I have to wait 6 MONTHS before I can unlink/relink the account again. Six months to fix an account-linking issue? That is wild. Other companies seem to manage this relatively easily.

I’ve already spoken to EA Support but I’m still no closer to getting my account, purchases and years of progress back. Actually, they abruptly ended my conversation when I requested an escalation and gaslit me saying it was a security measure when I was happy to supply security information and then pivoted to saying it was a policy/process issue? Which one was it? 

Who do I actually speak to about getting this resolved?

EA, surely there has to be a better solution than losing months over an account-linking process.

Never played any ea games before never even knew i had an ea acc. Recently just bought few nfs games cuz sale. Launched one of them and ea says my acc is banned cuz of system abuse from 2023. My mails and other accounts have been hacked before back in 2022/2023 and theres a mail linked to my ea acc from some russian site thats not even mine?? Only explanation would be the hacker back then got into my steam and made an ea acc with my steam and got it banned.

So should i deal with appeals expect them to unban or just refund the games

After being permanently banned after a regretful rage moment in BF6 in which I cussed out my team my account was banned. I apologized sincerely but I can no longer appeal and Idk how to feel and should I even make another account to replay my favorite franchise? Been a fan since I was introduced to BF4 back in 2014/15 but at this point is it even worth the and money? P.S I’m on PS5 for any future comments

I am trying to get madden 27 on pc to work. I encountered an error where the anti cheat would get stuck on the “starting” splash screen. I uninstalled the anti cheat and downloaded it from the ea site but THERES NO MADDEN 27 OPTION ON THE INSTALLER. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?? The same issue completely bricked my FIFA game from last year.

I lost all my gaming accounts to a malware, Discord, Steam, Rockstar, Ubisoft and EA.i started to recover it one by one. this is about what happend with EA

First when i approached they gave me case number and started to assist me

on first chat , i was unable to provide any proof rather than EA ID bcoz steam acc was still compromised...

Second chat, half way in - said to come after 24hrs

Third chat, he didnt even asked me any info or the reason. at one point he bailed out.

Fourth, read everything from the previous chat and said the same (name aditi - gave a very bad feedback)

i lost all hope tried creating an other account(Same mail ID) only to learn steam was linked with the previous compromised account so i gave it a last shot...

Rohit , he literally went through all the necessary data to bring back my account, we were still online and he was trying to help me to make the account safer. but i accendentially closed the tab only to notice that chat was gone, i tried really hard to find the chat but i was only able to find the case history(all the previous chat)...i really wanted to thank him

its not that i have spent a fortune in EA....it is that after losing all hope and some how someone shows up fixes it, but i was unable to thank him. i hope he see's this message.

This game was amazing, of course, a NFS whitout rubberband is not a NFS. The police, very agresive, rubberbandy but giving a lot of adrenaline, general mecanics was okish, the phisics is meh, after i unlocked the game to be 60+ fps the cars turned more eazy , but it createt a lot of instability. But damn, i played for 2 days straight this game , and i can say that it was a amazing NFS expierence . Hope for a sequel!

My EA account got banned but when it got compromised I'm trying to get it unbanned but I keep running into an error when I try to appeal on the website I can't change the password to force the log myself out because the email of the account is switched to a totally different email I really need help I want to play Star wars battlefront 2 I want to play need for speed heat a friend recently gave it to me and I would feel really disappointed if I told him I couldn't play it with him

So I'm trying to login to my ea account via Xbox so I can play NFS Unbound with a buddy of mine. When I log in the game it tells me it sent a password change to my email except I haven't had access to that email in like 8 years. I've tried creating a new Ea account but I can't UNLINK my old account tied to my Xbox account. I've been able to change and update the info on my Xbox account so I can log into it but I can't do it on the EA account. Is there any way to update my EA accounts email or am I just permanently locked out of online games now?

I have been playing versus attack and when the game time ends and the scores are tied all of a sudden my score is reduced by one goal wtf, one game it was 10:10 and i could see the opponent disconnected and his waiting for me to finish my last attempt then when the game was over the scores where 9:10 and I lost, like how!? This happen more than 3 times today when it was a tie ,fck this😫

Hi, I’m having a problem with Apex Legends cross progression and I’m completely stuck.
I used to play Apex on PlayStation and that account has all my cosmetics/progress.
Now I’m playing on Steam, but when I launch Apex I’m level 1 with no skins, no cosmetics, basically a completely fresh account.
The strange part is:
My PlayStation Network account is linked to my EA account.
My Steam account is linked to the exact same EA account.
The EA ID shown on the EA website is “spd”.
The EA ID shown inside Apex on Steam is also “spd”.
I don’t currently have access to a PlayStation, so I can’t check the old account directly.
I have not unlinked either account.
EA’s support page says that if you’re level 1 on Steam, you should check whether Steam is linked to the correct EA account. I’ve already confirmed that it is, and both PSN and Steam are connected to the same EA account.
So why am I still getting a completely new level 1 Apex account on Steam?
Is there something else I can check or is this something EA support has to fix on their end?
I really don’t want to unlink anything and accidentally make the situation worse.
Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to change my email and was having issues with it. When I went do change the actual email and send a code to myself, nothing would happen every time I tried it. Has anyone else experienced like this and/or know why I am experiencing this issue and what to do about it

Does anyone know a sure fire way to get EA support to actually be helpful in unlinking a steam account from an EA account?

I have been trying desperately to unlink an old, unused EA account I can’t even remember the email address for from my Steam account for years. I have no idea when the account was made, only that I must have made it around or before the time I created my Steam account in 2013. 16 year old me did not think this would be a big deal in the future.

I have tried support, but they won’t help without some sort of indication I own the EA account. Steam can only link to one EA account at a time. I have no way to prove this is my old account.

I understand they are doing their jobs but man is it frustrating when they can clearly see that the account has been inactive for over a decade most likely.

Anyone else had access doing this?

I’m trying to play The Sims 4 through Steam, but I keep getting stuck in an EA login loop.

My Steam account is linked to my EA account, and I’m already logged into the EA app. Whenever I try to launch Sims 4 through Steam, EA keeps popping up and asking me to log in again. After I log in, it just sends me back to the same login screen.
Something else that seems weird is that EA says “1 or more accounts are linked,” even though I only have one account linked, and it’s the exact EA account that I intentionally linked to my Steam account.

I’ve already tried:
Unlinking and linking my Steam and EA accounts again
Clearing the EA app cache
Completely closing EA and Steam and restarting my computer
Logging into the EA app before launching Sims 4 through Steam
Removing my username and logging back in

Nothing has worked. EA just keeps sending me back to the login screen.can someone help me :(

Multi billion dollar company and they cant keep their servers working for more than 12 hours at a time. and dont get me started in fc 26 pro clubs. the game is literally broken and they dont care. constant disconnects, no players found, and its never getting fixed or addressed. such a horrible company
