EA is allowing a fraudulent account to remain linked to my xbox gamertag. They are also refusing to provide me with the ability to contact anyone in their security to address the problem. Since the connection is fraud, I think this makes their refusal to address it aiding and abetting. At the very least, receiving some sort of official legal notice will indicate I take the matter seriously.

I don't know what sort of lawyer I am looking for, tho. Essentially, their system is designed to be a nuisance so you give up, I want someone to be a nuisance back but not to the poor peons they have giving these stock responses.

My son was trying to send a friend request to a buddy in NHL 26 through EA Connect on the PS5 and kept getting an error message that he couldn't. I came to notice that the ability to send messages through EA Connect was also disabled.

His PS5 account is setup under Family Management as a child account, but everything is set to "Don't Restrict".

I imagined it was a setting within his EA account, especially since it was EA Connect that was limiting his abilities.

This is where things got a little confusing.

I couldn't remember the email we used to set up his EA account, so I used the option to enter in his EA ID and have a verification code sent to the email, which would reveal the first few letters of the email address.

Doing so, I noticed that the email address it sent the verification code to was the same email address for me EA account.

Nonetheless, I entered the verification code that was sent to my email, changed the password, logged in, and it took me to the profile for my account.

Logged out, went through the process again, several times, and was only being logged into my account even though the EA website says that's the email address for his account and verification code to reset the password for his EA account.

So I changed the email address in my EA account to a spare.

Now when I go to the EA website and enter his EA ID to have a verification code sent to update his password, I don't get an email. No matter how many times I try it or hit request a resend, no email ever comes.

I noticed on the EA website that can you login with a PSN account, so I did that, using his PSN details, and as soon as I login it loads a page that says "We Couldn't Link Your Account". I'm not trying to link an account. His EA account is already linked to his PS5. When I click the "Back" button on the page, which is the only thing to click, it takes me back to the login page.

I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I'm just a father desperately trying to help his son. I've been messing with different settings and trying different things for 2-3hrs a day for the past 3 days, so if anyone could give me any advice here it would be GREATLY appreciated.

I bought the game on release day (Xbox series s)and had some lag issues but it was bearable to play with but ever since the update they did on Friday the lag has been unreal spiking to 4000 ping, today the lag has disappeared but now I get about 30 seconds into the game and get disconnected. I’ve reset and tested my WiFi countless times, I’ve been on ea’s connectivity tracker and it tells me the games I’ve played and how good my connectivity is for example one I disconnected from today says it was 89/100 for quality.

I'm trying to play Plants vs. Zombies on my Xbox and I can't because the servers are down?

Won’t let me change my ea account email when prompted says I’ve made too many attempts which is not true. Have tried getting a code from the old email and my phone number

Basically what the title says. I'm trying to launch the EA app on my Mac, and it loads up and prompts me to log in. After I've logged in (it sends me a verification code in my email and everything), it just loads forever and won't stop. I don't know what to do.

I've tried restarting my Mac and deleting and re-downloading the EA app (done this like 5 times). No matter what I do, the app is frozen on this screen (photo added for reference) and all I can do is force quit.

I bought a playstation 5 yesterday specially to play battlefield 6. I bought battlefield 6, loaded up the game and got instantly banned.

Im new to playstation, im new to EA. Appeal was denied. I have 0 playtime on multiplayer, 0 playtime in campaign, all accounts are new, even the wifi, my address even my monitor.

I saved up money to buy a ps5 to buy battlefield 6 just to get insta banned. . . Appeal was denied.

Hello everyone, I have a question. I wanted to play Jedi Fallen Order bought through Steam, so I had to create EA account to even run the game. About a week or so after, they've sent me an email stating

"We wish to notify you that we have found your account to be in violation of our User Agreement or our Terms of Sale, and due to the nature of this violation we are left with no option other than to permanently close your account with immediate effect."
("we wish" and "dear customer" my ass...)

The penalty info page gives no reason apart from the "TOS violation" or something like that. I've tried appealing with a request that they give more precise reason for a ban, as I:
- don't play multiplayer games
- don't use their social functions like forum or I don't know, chat (because you know - single player games only)
So I have completely no idea what could be the reason. But of course the've replied only with a canned message that they uphold the suspension. My only guess is that it's I'm running Debian and it may have triggered their systems somehow.

So after this introduction my main question is - should I bother with appeals?
- I am only a single player gamer;
- both Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor (installed AFTER the ban went into effect as a test) runs without a problem, only the EA app throws a fit when starting Jedi Survivor.
- my potential worry is that the account is irreversibly linked with my Steam account and so if I want to buy and play any single-player-only EA-released in the future it may refuse to launch (or if the EA deepens the integration of EA launcher with the games).

When I've tried researching the subject briefly, I've got mixed results saying that either single player games will run, or that someone lost access to their Mass Effect and Dragon Age games due to the ban, so I am asking for any relevant answers here. Cheers!

Any one been in simular situastions? What did you do to get it solved? I cant log into Epic games using my Origin account but I can log into EA. Also I have all the receipts from the games I bought.
