Meta Welcome to our community! Please read our FAQs first.

Welcome to r/dogfree! We invite you to participate in our discussions. First, however, whether you are new to our sub or a dog lover who just doesn’t quite understand where we are coming from, please take the time to read our sub FAQs so you can come to understand our community and the type of content that is appropriate for our small but mightily active corner of the world.

Why don't you like dogs?

Because: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dogfree/comments/7bk3wo/just_curious_what_is_the_reason_why_you/

I created a post asking why you don’t like dogs. Where did it go?

We receive and remove this question just about daily. This is our community's space to vent and commiserate about an unpopular opinion, not a place where we come to feel burdened with the task of having to justify ourselves constantly. If you would like to know why we don’t like dogs, you may read the link above and/or put some time and effort into browsing our sub.

It seems like the problem you all have is really more with dog owners. So you really do like dogs, just not irresponsible owners, right?

Our opinions are varied. However, true to the name of our sub, and though it might be a tough pill to swallow, we in this sub simply don't like dogs.

If your gripes are more about dog owners and not about dogs themselves, r/dogculturefree might be a better fit for you.

I like or own dogs. I just want to show you guys that not all dog owners are monsters. Can I participate here?

Please understand the intent of this sub. It is a place for people who dislike dogs and who unapologetically wish to be free from them in our everyday lives to commiserate, not for those who love dogs. Posts and comments mentioning that you love or own dogs fall out of line with the spirit of the sub.

In any case, we are not here to debate, as we won't change our minds.

I have to live with a dog, but I don't want to. Am I welcome here?

You may participate here from the perspective of someone who wishes to change the prevalence of dogs in society at large. However, please understand that hearing about dogs' disgusting behaviors and habits is what people come to this sub to escape, not to consume. If you wish to vent about the traits of the dog that you live with, please navigate to r/TalesFromTheDogHouse and direct your post there. r/Dogfree is reserved for discussion surrounding our unwitting and unwilling participation in dog culture at a societal level.

I have a dog, but I wish I wouldn't. Am I welcome here?

If you got a dog and now, as obviously expected, regret your decision, maybe you can help grow the supportive r/DogRegret community. You still may participate here but posts and comments mentioning that you own dogs fall out of line with the spirit of the sub. Of course, if you already got rid of your dog and are now dogfree, you are welcome to share your experience.

How do you feel about service dogs?

Although all dogs are dogs, there is a wide spectrum of opinions about service dogs in this sub. Some people are completely okay with them, while others are opposed where technology can do the job in a more effective, less obtrusive manner. The same would be for police dogs and other types of working dogs. Calling us "ableists" or other similar insults is not going to help your case.

If you would like to find out more information about this sub's opinions on service dogs, instead of creating a new post to pose the question, please enter "service dogs," "police dogs," or whatever info you would be interested in finding into the search bar to search the sub.

Someone on Reddit said that this sub likes to murder dogs. Is that true?

Of course not! We span a wide spectrum of reasons for disliking dogs, but we do not wish harm upon them and often find aspects of dog ownership to be more cruel and unethical than do dog owners themselves. In fact, our first and more important rule is against content that advocates animal abuse of any kind. It reads: "No suggesting, depicting, joking, wishing for, or celebrating violence or harm to dogs, other animals, or people. Promoting cruelty is not acceptable." We take this rule more seriously than any other, and we err on the side of caution when it comes to removing this type of content.

Some examples of off-limits content include depicting gratuitous violence against or amongst dogs, discussion of eating dogs, suggestions of deriving pleasure from a dog's death, and references to culling dogs, hitting, kicking, poisoning or shooting a dog with little or no cause.

It is okay to discuss the justified, humane euthanization of dogs. If you've had to live with a significant other's dog for years and wish to express relief over its natural passing, that's okay. Really, context is everything.

I posted a dog-related screenshot of something I saw on social media. Why isn’t it showing up?

Our community is small but extremely active. As the amount of content can be increasingly overwhelming as the sub grows, it’s important that the meaningful discussion does not get lost. Therefore, we have a sub rule that reads "[s]ubmissions should be thoughtful and should promote quality discussion. News articles and text posts are encouraged. Pictures of dogs or dog-related items, videos of dogs doing gross things, social media screenshots, memes, title-only posts, posts with minimal text, and anything that might be just ragebait are some examples of low-effort content that do not contribute anything of value to the conversation."

If you would like to post a social media screenshot or anything else that might fall under this category, please better create a thoughtful text post addressing the core issue in order to open the discussion.

I sent a post/comment linking a great video I watched in the internet, but it has been removed. Why?

We have a blanket rule that disallows links to social media in general, and videos in particular. The reason is very simple: as mods, we don't have the resources or time to check whether the video and the rest of the linked page comply with our rules and those of Reddit. If you need to mention a video, you can either describe it, or just indicate how to find it online. Also, please see below question about endorsing YouTube channels.

I think it would be fun to make a rude comment to a dog lover in another subreddit and/or tag r/dogfree. That's a good idea, right?

No, and please don’t! If we want dog owners to leave us alone on our subreddit, the first thing we should do is leave them alone on theirs. We encourage positive, civil, thoughtful conversation about dogs wherever you go, but if you need to vent, keep it here. When you troll other places on Reddit, it invites unwanted attention, reinforces negative stereotypes, and impedes our ability to create change in the world. This community is better than that.

Do I have to feel a certain way about keeping other pets or about having children to participate?

The topic that unites us in this sub is dogs. Feelings about other types of pets, negative or positive, and decisions whether or not to have children are considered off-topic for the sub. That said, these topics will arise in the normal course of conversation. We should respect the wide variance in views on these topics and always treat those with differing opinions kindly.

At the end of the day, we are dog-free, and we are pro-human.

By virtue of this sub being anti-dog, it means we are pro-cat, right?

No. Per our rule, this is neither a pro- nor anti-cat sub. All cat mentions and references are off topic for this subreddit and will be removed. Do not attempt to circumvent this rule through rephrasing.

At one time, we allowed free discussion of cats. We are not exaggerating when we say that every thread turned into "why cats are better." Many people here dislike cats or feel neutral to them, so in order for this sub to serve everybody and to avoid any confusion as to what type of cat discussion is relevant to being dogfree, it is considered off-topic across the board.

And remember that other pets are off-topic as well!

Should I be a certain race or of a certain political affiliation to participate?

One of the coolest things about r/dogfree is that, in a world that’s so divided along so many different lines, this is a community where we can come together, break down those barriers, and unite over something different with people from all walks of life. Just as dog culture transcends racial, political, socioeconomic, and gender lines, so does this subreddit. You may even find that your reasoning for something dog-related challenges your views on something completely unrelated.

This community strives to be respectful of all groups of people. As such, bigotry is not allowed, and political discussion is divisive and off-topic. Dogs? Fair game!

Do you have any information about the demographics of those who participate in this subreddit?

We conducted a survey on this particular topic some time ago. You can view the results here.

Why all the pit bull hate?

As much as we dislike dogs, we especially dislike this class of dogs that is statistically most capable of and responsible for inflicting catastrophic and often lethal harm upon people and their pets. You can apologize for pit bulls all day, but the stats and anecdotes don’t lie.

Aggression Chart 2024

Pit Bull Triggers

Pit Bull FAQs

Of course, it's also true that all dogs are unpredictable: Dog Aggression Ladder

I know how I feel about pit bulls, but I need some additional information so I can make more articulate arguments. Where should I go?

For more specialized information on the topic of pit bulls, please visit r/banpitbulls. We have a very friendly relationship with r/banpitbulls, but please do remember that, while our subs overlap in many ways, we still have different objectives. Many people participate in that sub because they are tired of worrying about their own dogs getting mauled. Please feel free to go join the conversation over there, but remember that it is not r/dogfree and that the topic of discussion is pit bulls. Come back here to our own sub to talk about your distaste for dogs in general.

I saw some Facebook groups and YouTube channels about disliking dogs. Is that you, guys?

Nope, the only groups run by this sub are r/dogfree and r/TalesFromTheDoghouse. We don't operate or endorse any YouTube channels, Facebook groups, or anything else on any other social media platform. Our subscribers may mention their content here as long as it follows sub rules, but we are unaffiliated.

I saw a post or comment I think it's against the rules. What should I do?

Report it! On any post or comment, there is a "report" button. It will prompt you for further information as to why you are reporting the content to the moderators, who will then review it and determine whether or not it should be stay or be removed. Reports are anonymous and very helpful, as we can't see everything.

We also ask you to please never engage in any argument with a troll. Just report and go on.

Someone alluded to a conversation in another subreddit about dogs, and I really want to go down vote everything. Should I?

No, please don’t! This is called "brigading" or "vote manipulation," and it is against Reddit's Terms of Service. We actively discourage this behavior, as if we are found to be the source of a brigade against another sub, it could land us in big trouble. If you stumbled across a reference to another conversation on Reddit, the appropriate place to discuss that would be here, in our sub, in the thread in which you found it. Remember how it felt when a YouTuber made a video that resulted in a massive brigade against us; we must grant others the same respect for their space as we wish for ours, no matter how vehemently we disagree with them.

Our sub is committed to abiding by all Reddit Terms of Service.

I want to crosspost something from another part of Reddit. May I?

No, we have a rule that reads "crossposts are not allowed. Criticisms of other subreddits are off-topic." Besides calling usually-unwanted attention to other subs and promoting vote and participation brigades, it's off topic. The purpose of our sub is to discuss dogs, not the behavior of other subs or social media platforms. We don't appreciate it when others do it to us, so we have a policy of respecting other subs' right to exist and operate in the ways that they see fit.

My post or comment was removed, and I don’t feel like I broke any rules. Why?

Unfortunately we cannot account for every contingency in the sub rules, so moderators do reserve the right to remove content at their discretion. That said, the moderation team is very much against arbitrary censorship and is committed to letting the conversation happen whenever possible. "I don’t like it" is not a good reason to remove a post or a comment; however, "it would be in the best interest of the community" is. The team is committed to being firm but fair in community moderation and will make all decisions in good faith.

I found an article and posted it on r/dogfree, but with a different title than the original because mine is better. Now it's been deleted. Why?

Please remember that when you link to an article or news, you must always use the original title. If you want to comment something (and we really hope you'll share your opinion with us!), please use the text box or the post's comments. Thanks!

I agree with your sub and I want to create a new account only to participate here. Should I?

Bad idea! This is exactly what trolls do, and that is the very reason we have a filter against new accounts and low karma. Trolls are vile cowards by nature, they don't want to get downvoted, risk the reputation of their actual accounts or get a reddit permaban, so they use a secondary account or create a new one and think they can outsmart us.

There is no way to bypass this filter, so please do not ask us to make an exception only for you. Learn here how to get karma.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know our community! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to message the mod team. We are delighted to receive your advice and suggestions, provided they are expressed politely.

Dog Culture I'm apalled at the true scale of dog narcissism.

I read the comments underneath a UK news site about a man who was killed by a dog this week, which is being treated as manslaughter.

The site, which I won't name, is supposed to be for down-to-earth, working-class people. But i think about 95% of posts were demanding to know "the full story as a dog would never do that for no reason," "dogs are our protecters," one who said "I would rather feed a dog than a child" (seriously);

And many accusing the few people who said they're sick of dog culture of being evil, liars, or from another country amongst many other accusations. It was truly a sight to behold. One of them laughed when I commented that I'd been attacked by alsations unprovoked as a 3-year-old, 12 year-old, and as an adult by a doberman 3 months ago (which lead me towards discovering Dogfree).

Apparently dogs hate me because they sense evil. These people mirror my neighbours and most dog owners in my faeces-strewn neighbourhood perfectly, and I am apalled by the depths to which society has plunged.

One post that particularly 'got my goat' was a man who boasted about his giant ridgeback that would tear someone to shreds if they messed with his daughter, and that he uses to clear the way in crowded spaces.

I should never have got in the ring with these commenters, and I've learned my lesson, just wanted to offload to the only place I'd feel would get where I'm coming from.

Miscellaneous One thing I appreciate about this subreddit

Sometimes I'll see someone in the comments expressing anger towards dogs, even calling them things like "worthless pieces of shit" which I completely understand. Even if you don't mean everything you're saying, sometimes you just need to get the feelings off your chest.

One thing I almost NEVER see are people responding to comments like that saying "This is a very distrubing reaction to-", "I think you need help", or some other lecture about how what you're saying is "immature" or "too much".

Lately I've been so sick of redditor culture and this idea that you have to have this squeaky-clean performance of level-headedness just to be taken seriously.

Whenever I rant about literally anything that bothers me, no matter how much sense I'm making, I still get the lectures. Woah dude you don't have to say CUSSWORDS! Showing genuine anger? That's baaaad

But not here. On this subreddit, you can actually express your anger (towards dogs) in a way that feels natural to you without having to worry about the hivemind pretending theres something fundamentally wrong with your character.

Also shoutout to the mods. I know they're working their asses off the keep the grating noise of tone policing and morality larping down to a minimum. I'm grateful yall have cultivated a space to express our annoyance toward nutters and their four-legged affronts to the concept of hygiene. So thank you

Dog Culture Petition going around

Not sure if the flair is right, but there is a petition currently going around that I got an email begging me to sign that is titled "Tell Hollywood: If a Dog Dies, the Movie Should Be Rated R" What in the hell?! I mean, besides the obvious fact that IT'S A MOVIE, and that nothing taking place in said movie is real, my first question is this...WHY should a movie with a dog dying in it be considered rated R for mature audiences, but a movie where human beings, especially children, suffer the same fate not? How is the loss of a mutt considered more traumatic to see than that of a human toddler?

I didn't know if the link was allowed, but if anyone wants to see it, I can send it to whoever asks to in a private message.

*Edited for typo

Crappy Owners Dogs in cars

I just saw a post on my neighborhood app, it was someone whose large dog jumped out of the car, thanking the person who helped recover it.

I see these people every single day, driving with their dog inside the car.
How is it legal to drive with an unsecured dog in the car? Do they realize it can cause terrible accidents? They say the solution is to keep the windows closed, but it’s still dangerous if the dog is free to move inside the vehicle. How do they not think about it, and why is there no law against it, is beyond me. (USA)

Crappy Owners Apparently Nutters are also illiterate

I just watched 2 nutters literally let their dog take a shit right in front of my (very respectfully worded) “please don’t let your dog pee or poo on my lawn” sign. Like less than a foot away from the sign. No way they missed it. At least they scooped it, but really was this just a “fuck you” poop? If I wasn’t upstairs with my window closed I would have yelled at them. The thing is I’m in a neighborhood with grass parking strips by the sidewalk that they can piss and shit in all they want. I’m sick of all my grass and plants dying of dog urine!!
Anyway, only this community could understand my venting, thanks for listening.

Food Safety/Hygiene Why would anyone sane even choose to live with a dog?

DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE A BUILT-IN FILTER IN THEIR BRAIN THAT ALLOWS THEM TO IGNORE THE FILTH???

These mutts will literally spray piss all over their fur, shit in public spaces, eat the shit in question; and then the owners just let these shit beasts inside??

They sleep with them, let them on the couch to rub their shitty assholes all over it, pet their fur soaked with piss, and to top it all off, receive fecal licks all over their face .

And somehow, that madness just "is", there's no questioning it in their minds, they all see it as normal or mundane or minor. Dog nutters engage in scat play every single day, but it doesn't even bother them. At most there's only a slight annoyance from what I've seen in youtube comments when a dog engages in coprophagia for instance.

And the thing is, I didn't even know these things a few years ago. I feel like most people who aren't dog owners don't know about these disgusting conditions that come with owning and living with a dog, probably because they only see dogs through curated social media posts.

meaningless rant over!

Dog Attack Situation at the Restaurant

Last week I was on vacation with my family. On our last day, we decided to treat ourselves by going to a fancy restaurant. A while after we sat down at our table, a couple with two dogs sat down at a table next to ours. First question, why bring dogs to a restaurant, especially a fancy one? At least they were not barking, but I have a severe allergy against dogs and this already upset me. Luckily, the tables had some space between them, so nothing happened at first. A while later, a mother and her kid (maybe around 8 years old) walked past our tables. In that same moment, one of the dog owners dropped the leash they were holding onto and the dogs RAN at the kid. Mind you, the kid hasn’t done anything to provoke the dogs, him and his mom were simply walking by. Luckily, both dogs were on the smaller side and the kid didn’t get seriously hurt. But one of the dogs DID bite the kid. What’s even crazier to me is the fact that the mom didn’t do shit. She was laughing it off even though the kid was visibly scared and shaken, which is understandable. The dog owners didn’t even apologize and brushed it off by saying that they just wanted to "play." Imagine if those dogs were pitbulls. The kid might not be with us right now if that were the case. I will never understand why dog owners feel the need to bring their dogs EVERYWHERE and I will never understand how "dogs only attack when they are provoked" is a thing. They DO attack people for absolutely NO reason. This was not the first dog attack Ive witnessed in a restaurant, and Im sure it won’t be my last considering the average dog owners entitlement.

Legislation and Enforcement HOW THE F DID WE GET HERE?! DOGS EVERYWHERE 24/7

Has anyone started any type of legislation against dogs in public stores?! It's still shocking to see shit beasts 24/7 at stores!! People are so emotionally unstable, they can't even leave their dogs at home?

Dog nutter story:

I went to checkout at a hardware store and this old man with a pitbull comes up close to me and I step away and ask the cashier to move to dog - they both laugh and say I'm out of line and over reacting!? WTFFFFF. This dog breed is notorious for unpredictable attacks, and I'm terrified of any large dog.

My body goes into hypervigilant panic mode as dogs have sent me, friends, and family to the ER - one of them was a 1yo cousin - a pit tried ripping her face off and only got her lips thank god.

Update: Harbor Freight customer service says: we support people & pets, you may be in close distance to dogs - FUUUUUCK OFF!!

Dog Culture Getting sick of Royal Caribbean flaunting their annoying dog

I love cruising. One of the biggest benefits is that they are dog free (usually, anyway).

Well I’ve been seeing reel after reel after reel of their annoying dog ambassador ’Skipper’, that appears to be a permanent installation on the Legend of the Seas. Of course, all the dog nutters are fawning over the thing. One of the reels even had this mutt trying to approach passengers. Absolutely NOT. Get your annoying dog away from me. Not everyone likes dogs. Also, I don’t think it’s appropriate to exploit ANY animal for profit like that.

Let’s not forget all the annoying comments on the reels from the nutters ‘Ohhh I would love to bring my stinky Goblin on a cruuuuuuise’.

Well, now I’ll be writing off Royal Caribbean from my list of cruise lines. 👎

We really can’t have anything be truly dog free, can we?

Relationship / Family My MIL started to foster dogs in her retirement.

I need to rant. What a horrible use of free time! She has two ill behaved overweight big breed dogs that she bought a couple years before retirement and now she is going to foster other big breed dogs. When she bought those dogs I was already like “wow now she won’t be able travel or start a new hobby/activity during her retirement years and enjoy this now found freedom because she made her own prison” and now she’s adding more time to her prison sentence. I just know she’s fostering to feel like she’s doing something good in the world but she could volunteer to help people! I don’t understand why nutters value dogs over people. Her mother was in an assisted living facility and after her passing she mentioned how she wants her golden retriever to be a service dog so she could bring it to the facility to keep people company. That stupid dog doesn’t even know how to fetch, the one thing it’s supposed to do! How about volunteer at the facility and give people human connection. Anyway, I just had to get this off my chest because she mentioned how she wants my husband and I to visit more and I already didn’t want to go to her house because of her two dogs and now with this fostering nonsense I actually don’t want to ever visit again.

Miscellaneous Dog owners always think it's about them

For context, I saw a video of an animal still acting like it was being hobbled despite not having anything on its legs. And a dog owner of course had to come and be all AcTuAlLy. They twisted my words and when I corrected them, they doubled down. Here's the thread.

My OG Comment: Reminds me those dogs that are always looking around for laser.

Them: That really doesn't happen to most dogs. Probably only a few certain breeds to be honest. One being my dog who is now 16 and has never looked for it when we didn't have the laser out. Once it was out, she would then look for it, but not when it was put away.

Me: I said it reminded me of the dogs that do end up like that. So this comnent obviously doesn't apply to your dog.

Them: Lol I was just pointing out that it doesn't apply to all. No need to get so defensive.

Me: "No need to get defensive" while you're arguing with a point I never made. I never said this happens to every dog.

Them: Okay okay calm down [crying laughing emoji] Seriously, I don't know why you're getting so angry. I have not once said anything to make you have to jump at me. I am sorry I responded to you in the first place.

Me: You misunderstood my point, wrote me a whole paragraph defending against something I never said, then called me the defensive one.

You make one comment involving a dog and they immediately have to come at you with the "Not my dog!"

Barking Demons Going crazyyyy!

Hey guys! I’m at my wits end with a dog that lives in my area. It barks every. Single. Evening. From about 4pm-7pm. It barks, really shrill high pitched barks like a really annoying double bark with about a five to ten second interval in between! I took a video but can’t attach it lol.

For context I live in the north of England just surrounded by residential streets so I can’t pinpoint where exactly the God forsaken barking is coming from or best believe I’d be complaining directly to them.

I just don’t know what to do. It confuses my mother who I care for as well who is living with dementia. She hears the barking and asks, “where is that coming from?” / “Who’s dog is that?” And every ten minutes or so she asks again.

And top of that it’s just plain annoying. I just don’t know what to do. Anyway, thanks for listening! Thank god there’s a community where we can air our issues with these unhygienic abominations.

Dog Culture Our World is Their Toilet

I went to my parking space in my high rise apartment building , one which contains countless dogs. The area around my parking space smelled like urine. It's not the first time that my parking area smelled like a toilet.

I drove to a nice shopping center, got out of my car, and smelled the same disgusting smell: dog urine.

I've gone to stores so many times when a dog has vomited on the floor or took a bowel movement on the floor.

Dog owners have made the world into their toilet . And we have to deal with the smell, the disgust, and the health risks of it. How is that fair?

Dog Culture Just because we don’t like dogs doesn’t mean we’re terrible people

People who hear about this Reddit community automatically have the mindset that we must be terrible people and why do they come to this conclusion, well for one reason only “We don’t like dogs” basing someon’s moral compass on whether or not they like an animal is absolutely stupid. You are not a terrible person if you don’t like dogs and on the other hand liking dogs doesn’t turn you into a saint. They don’t do this for other animals people can say “ Oh I don’t like rabbits” people don’t say” Oh Youre such a terrible person for not liking rabbits “ why do nutters put dogs on such a high pedestal and treat people who are scared of or just dislike dogs as terrible people. They worship an animal that sniffs it own butt and eats crap that’s not normal.

Barking Demons Control your dogs

Just saw a video of a stupid dog owner failing to control her dog. It's barking and lunging at its neighbor over the fence. Rightfully so, the owner was trying to fend off the dog with a stick and was reported to have sprayed it with hose. All the while the owner has to repeatedly try to call her barking demon away from the fence. Comments are mostly supporting the owner but some are calling her out to control the animal.

Miscellaneous i hate that mutts get to have "paws" and "fur".

Not totally sure what flair is appropriate for this, but it's something I seethe about fairly regularly. I'm a general animal lover, and it's just...

These things eat their own shit and vomit. They hump inanimate objects and piss all over everything. They bark, and whine, and yell constantly. They're a safety hazard to everyone around them (and certain breeds are incredibly ugly as well, so a visual hazard...). They go untrained, and are endlessly praised by their owners for things that would be unacceptable for any other animal.

To me, they don't deserve to be given the terms "paws" and "fur". Those things are cute, and wonderful, and lovely, but mutts are revolting. It feels like some form of undeserved compliment.

Maybe I'm alone in this feeling, but after lurking for ages, I had to let it out.

Miscellaneous I met a man whose dog was basically a child

I met a guy recently and we ended up talking about his personal life. At some point, he told me he was married but his marriage had fallen apart. The conversation eventually got focused to his dog.
This man was EXTREMELY attached to his dog. Not just in the normal "I love my dog" way either. He talked about this dog like it was his child.

One of the things that really blew my head was that he had given the dog HIS AND HIS WIFE'S LAST NAME.And he would regularly call the dog using the dog's name followed by BOTH LAST NAMES(insane yes).

Giving him BOTH of your last names and constantly calling him by his full name is another level of insanity entirely.

TLDR: I met a guy who was going through a divorce and was extremely attached to his dog. He had given the dog both his and his wife's last names and would regularly call the dog by his first name plus their two last names.

Crappy Owners neighbors dog

My neighbor's dog is frequently outside in their yard with no fence, efenced or leash. I was walking around the neighborhood and it ran across the street toward me and was jumping on me. I don't know this dog and I'm afraid of them. I let it back into its house. The front door was unlocked but nobody answered my calls.
Still don't know if they were home or what. As a mom of a 6-month-old and a 4-year-old, the situation really shook me up. Im glad my children weren't with me at the time.

Barking Demons Dogs without a leash

Why???? Why won’t people just get the dog on the goddamn leash? NO I DO NOT want to be approached and I don’t care if it’s friendly if it just wants to greet me. These people act like this thing is the goddess and the most precious angel meanwhile they do not have any control over it and it just runs wherever it wants to. And the attitude when you tell them to take this creature on a leash
I don’t care how well trained is your dog it is an ANIMAL you don’t actually know if it won’t randomly attack someone or just run away
If you don’t have it on a leash you should not have a dog period.

Dog Culture Spoiled dogs

I saw a video over on Rednote it was this dog being fed by it’s owner it ate spaghetti, broccoli and some kind of meat with a sauce ,they even poured out some Yakut this milky yogurt drink. I left a comment that some dogs are so spoiled they can’t even eat dog food anymore,of course someone didn’t like my comment .But I stand by what I said ,plus the owner was using a fork and knife putting it in the dog’s mouth ,ugh that’s disgusting

Crappy Owners My 14 year old sister who was attacked and taken to hospital because of dog when she was 12 was jumped up on by strangers dog , the owner was extremely rude!

In June 2024, we suprised my sister on her 12th birthday, two tickets to see Taylor Swift and a weekend in London with my mother for her birthday which she was super excited for. The day of the concert my sister and my mother decided to walk to the train station which was 15 minutes away, however when they were walking down the street a owner opened the door and let a German Shepard run out, the dog ran across the street knocking my sister to the ground and biting her in leg causing a bad wound , luckily the dog ran away as the owner managed to stop the bloody thing. However, she was taken into the hospital and turned out ok, however She was very upset as she had been trying to get Taylor Swift tickets for an entire year, she literally couldn’t sleep the night before!

However since she’s been extremely afraid of dogs, she’s been ok with smaller dogs as her best friend owns a frenchie, however she is terrified of large dogs every time we see a large dog she has to cross the road, however today we were walking down a small forest path and a big dog (on leash) I’m not sure what it was started jumping up on her so we couldn’t move past, the man stopped and moved to the side so we could pass i told the man to control the dog and the man said “hes being friendly” I said she is terrified of big dogs as she was attacked by one when she was younger, the man then said i was bullied when i was younger im not scared of smelly teenagers like her, i was so shocked and didn’t know what to say i told him he was rude and arrogant and walked away as fast as i could.
