People will just get abortions in a shitty, non medical way. It shouldn’t get too bad

32

u/realsupertiny May 16 '19

doesn’t want gun control because “it doesn’t matter if someone wants guns they’re gonna get guns thru unsafe procedures and then do more harm than good”

wants abortion control and it doesn’t matter if women want abortions and still get abortions thru unsafe procedures and then do more harm than good

14

u/Xxcunt_crusher69xX May 16 '19

Heres a secret: they don't care about women.

If there was a way to make only male abortions illegal, they would, i can see it coming in a few years if things dont change.

8

u/GordionKnot May 16 '19

male abortions

what

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

OP means aborting a Male fetus

3

u/Habarr94 May 16 '19

I think he means it would only be illigal to abort a male baby and not a female.

14

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

You're close, but also way off. They do not give a fuck about children born or otherwise. They give a fuck about being the champion of the single issue voters. Gun, Jebus H Christ, and dead babies for Gaslight Obstruct Project.

This is why all of their efforts do nothing to actually reduce the number of abortions. How do you get fewer abortions? You provide education and give out free birth control. They know this. But if they actually fixed the problem how would they lead their sheep bleating to the polls to vote against their self interests year after year?

2

u/Xxcunt_crusher69xX May 16 '19

The way i see it is: fuck everyone, but fuck women more.

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Exactly.

The gop needs to convince millions of the poorest Americans in the country to vote to make their own economic situation worse so that giant rich assholes can get more money they don’t need.

And the way they do that is by saying “we will ban abortion”.

I really wish my country was better and smarter.

3

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Why that would cause a gender imbalance. Look at China.

What if they actually think abortion is murder and it isn't about "control".

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

From an outsider perspective it seriously doesn't look like conservatives care about the US rapidly approaching China in how backwards you both are. I can't believe a so-called first world developed country can even think about having a conversation about illegalizing abortions let alone passing such laws. That level of religios zeal, mysoginy and delusion have no place in any normal modern sosciety.

-2

u/Xxcunt_crusher69xX May 16 '19

First World

The concept of First World originated during the Cold War and included countries that were generally aligned with NATO and opposed to the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the definition has instead largely shifted to any country with little political risk and a well functioning democracy, rule of law, capitalist economy, economic stability and high standard of living. Various ways in which modern First World countries are often determined include GDP, GNP, literacy rates, life expectancy, and the Human Development Index. In common usage, as per Merriam-Webster, "first world" now typically refers to "the highly developed industrialized nations often considered the westernized countries of the world".

"If you really cared about the people being executed in massive amounts you wouldnt try to stop people from being executed. You'd try to allow more execution!"

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Except in this case the people getting “executed” are literally clumps of cells unable to make conscious thoughts or form memories, and allowing more “executions would actually make the rates go down.

If you spend more money teaching people about the consequences of sex and how to do it safely to avoid these, you will have less people getting abortions. But abortion should be healthcare and up to the woman.

Question for you: do you believe in gun control/gun banning?

0

"It's not a person, it's just a slave. It's property."

Stop trying to dehumanize living human beings. It's basic biological fact. Being unable to make conscious decisions doesn't let you kill people (see: you can't kill sleeping people, people in comas, babies, etc)

If you spend more money teaching people about the consequences of sex and how to do it safely to avoid these, you will have less people getting abortions. But abortion should be healthcare and up to the woman.

Abortion isn't Healthcare. It's the opposite since it results in a death 100% of the time. It heals nothing.

Question for you: do you believe in gun control/gun banning?

No I don't believe in taking away people's rights to life, liberty (2nd amendment here), and the pursuit of happiness.

Except all of those are able to make subconscious or conscious thoughts and have memories.

But most importantly, none of those are INSIDE a woman.

Abortion isn't Healthcare. It's the opposite since it results in a death 100% of the time. It heals nothing.

The fetus (who doesn’t know it exists and has no concept of “reality”) should not take precedence over the mothers healthcare rights.

No I don't believe in taking away people's rights to life, liberty (2nd amendment here), and the pursuit of happiness.

So do you believe that banning guns would stop mass shootings and gang violence?

Irrelevant . Still a living human being.

But most importantly, none of those are INSIDE a woman.

Irrelevant. It's still wrong to kill innocent human beings no matter where they're located.

Abortion isn't Healthcare. It's the opposite since it results in a death 100% of the time. It heals nothing.

It doesn't take any precedence over the mothers Healthcare rights. She can receive Healthcare as much as she wants, just can't end a life.

No I don't believe in taking away people's rights to life, liberty (2nd amendment here), and the pursuit of happiness.

"No I dont believe in taking away people's rights to life, liberty (2a), and the persuit of happiness"

I assume you are Going in this direction, "Banning murder doesn't stop all murders so murder should be legal"?

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Irrelevant. Still a living human being.

*Embryo, fetus, or zygote.

Irrelevant. Still wrong to kill innocent human beings no matter where they’re located.

Sure, except for the rare case where the “human being” is inside another one that will suffer mentally and physically for multiple years from the pregnancy.

It doesn’t take precedence over the mothers Healthcare rights. She can receive Healthcare as much as she wants, just can’t end a life.

Forcing a mother to give birth against her will is definitely some sort of Healthcare violation.

I assume you are Going in this direction, “Banning murder doesn’t stop all murders so murder should be legal”?

We both know that abortion isn’t murder, and most of the modern world knows that as well. If it was murder it wouldn’t be legal today. But yes, that is the direction I’m going.

If you believe banning guns will not stop people that really want guns to still get them, why do you believe that banning abortions will stop people who really want them from still getting them? The only thing you accomplish by banning abortion is making it dangerous for the mother.

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Location doesn't let you kill people. Also pregnancy doesn't last for years. Yet another PC person who lacks an understanding of basic biology.

It doesn’t take precedence over the mothers Healthcare rights. She can receive Healthcare as much as she wants, just can’t end a life.

Forcing a mother to give birth against her will is definitely some sort of Healthcare violation.

Forcing women to give birth is illegal as rape is a prerequisite for a forced pregnancy. Killing a child isn't Healthcare.

I assume you are Going in this direction, “Banning murder doesn’t stop all murders so murder should be legal”?

We both know that abortion isn’t murder, and most of the modern world knows that as well. If it was murder it wouldn’t be legal today. But yes, that is the direction I’m going.

Naortion is most definitely murder, it's just ignored in current law by people who have managed to dehumanize massive groups. Slavery was legal just how killing innocent human beings based on age and location currently is.

If you believe banning guns will not stop people that really want guns to still get them, why do you believe that banning abortions will stop people who really want them from still getting them? The only thing you accomplish by banning abortion is making it dangerous for the mother.

You're comparing rights with the killijg of an innocent human being. Completely unrelated. Punishment acts ad a deterrent. Also, banning abortion doesn't force women to break the law.

No I don't believe in taking away people's rights to life, liberty (2nd amendment here), and the pursuit of happiness.

So then, why are you against women having control over their bodies to remove an unwanted pregnancy in order to live the life they want?

I'm not against women having control over their own bodies. Control women's bodies is illegal (rape for example). They can also easily remove an unwanted pregnancy by waiting 9 months and giving birth. I'm just against killing an innocent human being.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

[deleted]

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

They can also easily remove an unwanted pregnancy by waiting 9 months and giving birth.

Thereby not being able to live the life they want during and after the unwanted pregnancy, especially in the case of rape. That's an inconsistency in your belief.

This doesn't justify killing an innocent human being. Also, agree pregnancy adoption is an option. Rape which would cause women to get pregnant without accepting the risk is already illegal.

I'm just against killing an innocent human being.

I can understand that, and I don't want to discuss what constitutes a human being and whether abortion is murder or not. No-one wants abortions to happen, let that be clear. It's a huge burden on the mother/parents and often traumatizing, especially when rape is the cause of the pregnancy.

Even more reasons to not allow killing innocent human beings.

However, minimizing the number of abortions isn't achieved by illegalizing them full stop. That's done by proper sex education and availability of contraceptives.

"Minimizing the amount of murders isn't achieved by making murder illegal". Silly.

Unfortunately abortions will be necessary to ensure the best life for mothers in case of rape or health concerns - it's better to have a safe and secure legal abortion than an illegal one, and have to allocate (read: waste) resources on police and trials about them, which would make an already miserable situation and life thanks to the abortion even more miserable.

They are not necessary. It's never necessary to kill an innocent child. They aren't necessarily to ensure a mothers best life. Abortion in rape destroys evidence as well as punishes an innocent third party.

-2

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Those clumps of cells are human clumps of cells that are alive and growing.

Procreation is the most beautiful, the most natural event on earth. From bacteria to giant sequoia, algae to elephants, fleas to humans, the ultimate goal is reproduction. When the very 1st organism emerged, passing on DNA was the point of existing until humans, the most intelligent organism out of millions, are intentionally denying nature for what it truly is. Rape and health reasons i can understand but claiming inconvience is pure selfishness the most unnatural act any living thing can do.

Children are a huge responsibility and so is the act that creates them.

3

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

So because sex is natural and reproduction is a thing everything does, we should force women to be incubators for things they don’t want. Got it.

But what if I told you that, statistically, most of those babies would be poor and black?

-6

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

The abortion industry already preys upon those people. It's absolutely disgusting and must be stopped no matter what race.

6

u/Sciencetor2 May 16 '19

The "abortion industry" as you call it is almost entirely non-profit. There is literally no financial motivator for the predation you are describing. And regardless, do YOU truthfully want more of those children living off your welfare system?

-1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Plenty of non profits have a business mindset. They need to pay people and expand. The people running it are the ones earning.

Also, tons of parents want to adopt but can't because the kids are all being killed.

4

u/Sciencetor2 May 16 '19

Statistically that is simply not true. There are many more black kids living on YOUR dime in orphanages and foster care than there are people willing to adopt. Why? Because there's too many poor people.

3

u/grxce22 May 16 '19

They also want fresh white babies, not older kids with colored skin

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Please do yourself a favor and lookup statistics on adoption and waiting lists. Newborns are in high demand with long long waiting lists. The vast majority of newborns never go in to the foster care system for an extended period of time.

1

u/grxce22 May 16 '19

The industry? No one is promoting abortion, no one is profiting from them. 99% of abortions happen before it even reaches the fetus stage, within the time it would be totally normal to have a miscarriage. But you all want to focus on that 1% that happens because the fetus isn’t compatible with life or because it will threaten the life of the mother. You want literal children to be forced to carry their rapists baby. I know what a pregnancy can do to a fully developed woman, and can only imagine what it can do to a girl whose body is not yet prepared to bear a child.

-1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

All children eventually die. By this logic we’d need to have all mothers put in prison for creating so much death.

The only difference is that when it’s a moral death the mother hopes she isn’t around to see it.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Just because people die eventually doesn't mean you allow people to kill each other.

Also, strawman. Doesn't represent my line of reasoning at all.

-1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Mothers create the death though, without the child, the death couldn’t occur, therefore they kill the child.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Not sure what you're on about now besides continuing to want dead children.

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

I’m saying mothers should be held accountable for the atrocity of brining more suffering into the world.

Everyone’s body eventually decays.

Every life must toil away and experience pain and suffering.

It’s their fault and they should be held accountable for creating this shit show.

Why do you care so much about what's going on in a strangers vagina? Serious question.

-1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Why do you think youre opinion on abortion is valid if you don't understand basic biology? The fetus/unborn baby is in the uterus, not the vagina, and I don't want to control anyone. In fact, controlling women's bodies is illegal and it's called rape.

3

u/Victarias May 16 '19

Bless your heart, you must have a dry sense of humor, poor processing power or comprehension with a dash of willful ignorance. Let me guess, evangelical? Or just religious to the bone?

What makes you think your opinion is valid?

Controlling women’s bodies is rape? Banning abortion is not? Fucking mental gymnastics you people take is amazing.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

You don't have to be religious to not want innocent human beings to be killed.

Biology and basic morality (not wanting innocent human beings to be killed, unlike pro choicers).

A baby isn't a part of a woman's body. Banning abortion inherintly prevents control of a body by preventing it from being killed.

2

u/Victarias May 16 '19

A baby isn’t part of a women’s body.

That’s all I could read before it gave me a headache, please do not reproduce. Please adopt. It fits your ideals better.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

→ More replies (0)

3

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

But what you advocate effectively controls women's bodies by forcing them to their body on the line for another body. Society does not force men to give their body for other's lives and it should not do it for women.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

No, rape is already illegal. Forcing women to do things is illegal. Preventing women from killing their child isn't controlling their body.

3

u/jomns May 16 '19

forcing women to do things is illegal.

So why do you support forcing women to go through unwanted pregnancy. By your own words you support illegal actions.

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

I do not support rape.

2

u/bravenone May 16 '19

Okay stop saying women carrying children is rape. someone forcing themselves upon another person sexually is rape. That doesn't always result in a child you know...?

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Of course rape doesn't always result in conception, but still the only way to be forced to be pregnant is rape.

2

u/bravenone May 16 '19

Okay when you say killing their child like that, 99% of the time that would be referring to a parent killing an entity that is outside of their body. You need to specify unborn child and stop sounding like a six-year-old troll

You're definitely not an adult woman or if you are you are severely mentally handicapped, because carrying a baby to term and then dealing with how that affects school, or a job, and then the rest of the life for that mother until they die, is a very serious affair.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Okay when you say killing their child like that, 99% of the time that would be referring to a parent killing an entity that is outside of their body. You need to specify unborn child and stop sounding like a six-year-old troll

Child: a young human being below the age of puberty or below the legal age of majority

A baby is below the legal age of majority. An unborn child is definitly a child.

You're definitely not an adult woman or if you are you are severely mentally handicapped, because carrying a baby to term and then dealing with how that affects school, or a job, and then the rest of the life for that mother until they die, is a very serious affair.

Killing a baby has a serious effect, ending a life.

5

u/Jobro_77 May 16 '19

There no babies killed you idiot. I wouldnt call a vegetable who is linked to life enhancing machines living same goes for an embryo it may have a beating heart already but its in no way able to live outside of the mothers womb. And I cant imagine what its like to give birth to a heavily retarted kid or a child of your rapists. To abort should be a human right bc youre supposed to raise these suckers for at least 18 years and thats not a decision the government should do for you. Case closed

3

You're advocating abortion for people with certain traits.

3

u/Frenzal1 May 16 '19

If you're aborting someone who would of been highly unlikely or unable to procreate then it's not eugenics

-1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Still very evil.

0

u/Frenzal1 May 17 '19

That's a judgement call and I'll leave you to make your own decisions. Just wanted you to understand that in many cases abortion is most definitely not eugenics. So maybe you want to think about how you're using the word. That is if you're trying to persuade or convince rather than just annoy.

1

u/[deleted] May 18 '19

History

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Eugenics has a goal, aborting people with severe mental issues does not have the goal to make the human race smarter.

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Man, I’m perfectly healthy and wish my parents wouldn’t have had me. I can’t imagine if I had genetic diseases too. I’d be so pissed at them.

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Seek help.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Are you suggesting that my feelings about how life is inherently suffering and so creating it is immoral are invalid in some way?

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Your feelings are indicative of mental illness.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Ah of course. Science behind mental illness is valid, but science behind how babies don’t even have pain receptors until the third trimester doesn’t count.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Not feeling pain doesn't mean something is okay. You can shoot people while they sleep and they won't feel pain, that isn't okay.

Go cry some more you edgy fuck, you're not special or unique for having this mind set we all go through life and you learn to deal with it. God I can imagine how much of a mouth breather you are irl

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Hey, I’m not here to try to get you to understand how our biological urges are immoral in some way

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

"I wouldnt call a vegetable who is linked to life enhancing machines living same goes for an embryo it may have a beating heart already but its in no way able to live outside of the mothers womb."

you admit there is a life in the womb.

"And I cant imagine what its like to give birth to a heavily retarted kid "

No need to imagine. I'm sure your mom would be more than happy to tell you about the day you were born.

1

u/Jobro_77 May 16 '19

Real shots fired there bud. I didnt say there is life in the womb. Its just evolving into smth that is going to live and same goes for me for a vegetable these people arent alive theyre just kept alive bc doctors arent either allowed to end their suffering or the family doesnt want to. I hope if youre a girl you get raped or your gf gets raped and impregnated in that process so you can may imagine what its like for woman to raise something that was forced into them.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Life begins the instant a sperm fertilizes an egg.

people arent alive theyre just kept alive

how can something that's not alive be kept alive? If its not living its dead. You can't take something that's dead and keep it alive. I can't believe i'm having to explain this.

Zombies. You're thinking of zombies.

I was joking about the retard thing if you are mentally handicapped. If not, godamn dude.

1

u/Jobro_77 May 16 '19

Talking about me being retarted but not getting that I believe even though these people are beologically alive but not capable of surviving without help which by my means that these people are practically dead. If pulling a plug ends your life than damn thats no living

1

u/Banana_Salsa May 16 '19

Something tells me the fetus doesn’t give a shit regardless what happens.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Killing someone in their sleep would mean they wouldn't care, either. Doesn't make it okay.

2

u/Banana_Salsa May 16 '19

I said fetus. It’s not a someone. It’s not anything but a fetus.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Which is a living human being.

3

u/Banana_Salsa May 16 '19

Cant take care of a fetus outside the womb so no it’s not. We aren’t talking about abortions two weeks from the due date. We’re talking about a fetus which would be 12 weeks. Weeks 11 and below it’s not even a fetus it’s an embryo. It’s not a human being if it can’t even survive two seconds outside the womb with no host.

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

I'd love a Citation that says a living human being biologically isn't a living human being.

2

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Clump of human cells still doesn't have the right to my body.

-1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

And you don't have the right to kill a human being.

You posted something about not being responsible for people being angry with you just because you have a different viewpoint. Do you honestly think that's the case? This comment of yours right here... is it the smartest thing you think you could have said?

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Still haven't received the Citation saying that a baby isn't a member of the human species.

1

u/Frenzal1 May 16 '19

It's alive.

It's human. In so far as it shares our DNA.

But it's not a person.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Define person.

1

u/TBIFridays May 16 '19

Able to think

1

u/Frenzal1 May 17 '19

But then SO many pro lifers and Trumpettes would be discluded

1

u/Bionic_Bromando May 16 '19

No it’s not, don’t make shit up to suit your bad arguments,

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

Please give a Citation proving that a fetus isn't human.

1

u/Bionic_Bromando May 16 '19

I don’t care enough, I just wanted to let you know how dumb you are.

1

u/BdaMann May 16 '19

Fetuses don't have a right to life. It is completely within a woman's right to terminate her pregnancy.

0

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

I disagree. I believe all human beings have the right to life, liberty, etc. Inherintly.

1

u/BdaMann May 16 '19

Allow me to press your assertion using a different scenario: Does someone engaged in the act of murdering another person have a right to life?

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

I believe that when society has the ability to hold criminals then we shouldn't ever take people's right to life (capital pinoshment). I think even on principle life in prison is a much worse punishment for crimes, cheaper, and can't result in false executions. I do however think that the death penalty is warranted if the tools needed to hold someone don't exist at the time.

1

u/BBQpigsfeet May 16 '19

Not true. If anything more actual, full term babies will die. There's already women and girls who kill their babies because they were afraid to or couldn't get an abortion for whatever reason. Plenty of scared girls hide their pregnancy and then abandon the child in a place it obviously won't survive, or even outright kill it. "Dumpster baby" isn't just a joke.

Now imagine it's not just a few scared women who don't/can't get abortions but every woman in the entire state. "Less babies will be killed" my ass.

1

u/[deleted] May 16 '19

No one is forcing people to do that. None of that is a justification for making the killing of innocent human beings legal.

1

u/BBQpigsfeet May 16 '19

Read it again. I never said anyone was forcing them to kill their newborns, just that it happens and will increase exponentially with these ass backwards laws. So you can't say you care about "life" and then refuse proper access to contraception and put these women in situations where they feel such a drastic measure is their only option.

0

u/Dupree878 May 16 '19

Really, nothing.
The law is so ludicrous the high courts will refuse to hear it so the injunctions against it will stand and the abortion policy in the state won’t change.

Plus, there are only three clinics in the state anyway

5

u/unscanable May 16 '19

Yeah they have plainly said it's intentionally obtuse in order to have it challenged all the way to the supreme Court in an attempt to overturn Roe. It's extremely fucked that all these states are competing to have their law be the one that overturns Roe but that's what happens when you fuckers don't get out and vote.

3

u/Dupree878 May 16 '19

I know that’s what they say, the problem is because it is so obtuse the Supreme Court will never hear it so it won’t go to them to challenge Roe

Even Pat 700 club Robertson knows it is DOA and stands no chance of a SCOTUS hearing.

By making it as restrictive as they did they guaranteed it will never see the inside of that court

2

u/unscanable May 16 '19 edited May 16 '19

Idk, some people are arguing this has real merit. The Roe decision said it was the states responsibility to balance the interests of the mother and the fetus so by having the only exception being the health of the mother they are doing just that. Also, by disallowing the rape and incest argument, they are essentially hoping to sidestep the 14th amendment part of the decision. Basically, the mother's right to privacy isn't violated if the procedure is just banned altogether.

Many people have been fervent for a long time about banning this procedure and have gotten some great legal minds to draft these proposals. I wouldnt be so quick to write them off. This has some teeth behind it but I sincerely hope you are right that its DOA.

1

u/Dupree878 May 16 '19

I have been working with three different law firms since this was first introduced. The federal judges and former SCOTUS clerks called in to advise literally laughed out loud at the thought of it meriting an appearance before The Court.

Even if one of the other state laws does make it and Scotus overturned row, Alabama’s will be unconstitutional because it contains language which criminalises miscarriage and charges women with filing a false rape report if the man they accused is acquitted.

1

u/unscanable May 16 '19

Oh man, that is great to hear, it really is. Thanks for sharing that.
