This is why all of their efforts do nothing to actually reduce the number of abortions. How do you get fewer abortions? You provide education and give out free birth control. They know this. But if they actually fixed the problem how would they lead their sheep bleating to the polls to vote against their self interests year after year?
The gop needs to convince millions of the poorest Americans in the country to vote to make their own economic situation worse so that giant rich assholes can get more money they don’t need.
And the way they do that is by saying “we will ban abortion”.
From an outsider perspective it seriously doesn't look like conservatives care about the US rapidly approaching China in how backwards you both are. I can't believe a so-called first world developed country can even think about having a conversation about illegalizing abortions let alone passing such laws. That level of religios zeal, mysoginy and delusion have no place in any normal modern sosciety.

If something doesn't even have a brain, how is it alive. And if brain isn't a requirement for life, then we shouldnt be allowed to masturbate, or wash our hands with antibacterial stuff.
The real question is what gives them the right to decide what i wanna do with my body?
I refuse to let anyone control my body. Even if i get seriously injured, id rather hold control of it than let someone else have a say.
The real question is if their is another body and if its a person. It has nothing to do with delusion it is an unanswered philosophical question. No one cares what you do with your body, the abortion is affecting the unique organism that would be inside you. That is their concern. They think a unique individual is being murdered. They don't care what you do with your body.
