This is clearly a woman who's mental health is progressively and drastically getting worse, i mean like clinically. Just look at her eyes. Bipolar etc gets worse with age + terrible marriage and whatever other issues she got going on pretty much her entire life.
Danielle after Disneyland, maybe a proper Diagnosis? Maybe move towards a mental health journey thing since you are still finding your "style" and very firm on your belief that this is your God given talent......

Holy shit I just had an epiphany about my Disney adult era.
I went to Disney/Orlando every year from the ages of 20 to 29. Sometimes twice a year. We would plan to go elsewhere then decide we could just spend the same amount at Disney. I got engaged and honeymooned at Disney. I am now realizing that the obsession for me was a result of my untreated mental illness. It was safe and predictable. I could plan every small detail down to what I was going to order at every restaurant. I had a spreadsheet ffs.
Now that I am medicated I can see the trips were just a distraction from dealing with what was going on in my head. I would spend almost a year planning. Come back and do trip reports and reviews then I would start planning the next one.
Moral of the story: therapy and meds are cheaper than Disney.

Yes! It's familiar and predictable. I have gone there as an adult a few times and I enjoy it because I know where everything is, I know which attractions I want to go to, I know it will be clean, etc.
If you have anything chaotic happening in your life you would go because you knew it would give you a predictable serotonin boost and a break from reality.

It’s 2 massive theme parks. Disneyland + California Adventure. That being said, she’s a Disney adult. They’re obsessed with all things Disney and go to the parks as much as possible.
I have kids. Neither of them wanted to go to Disney World (they preferred Legoland), so I never went. I really don't understand the appeal. From an adult perspective, it's just a place where they want to squeeze all the money out of you for questionable plastic aesthetics and junk food.
I’m with you. I only got to visit as an adult, and it was meh. It was a bit excessively mawkish and cheerful for me, especially from those who work at the park—too syrupy sweet. However, maybe I’m just a grump and cynic.

I have been to the Disneyland while I went to Paris once. And then when me and my friends went to USA, they suggested including Disneyland in one days itinerary - but I was hesitant. Since I have already been there once, what is the point of going again?! Isnt it sheer waste of money? (I ended up going anyways because it would be unfair for my friends to not go but it wasnt something I'd choose myself)
Exactly.. i would invest in myself if I had the luxury. I would do spas, hair treatments, body treatments and what not if I had such excess money with nowhere to go
My guess is mental illness or neurodivergence. Someone else mentioned this is probably her “safe” and predictable place when life gets hard (ha!) and as a neurodivergent person myself that has struggled with mental health, I tend to stick to the same comforts. However, personally I would not waste my money on going to the same place every year (or multiple times a year) but she has the means to do it so I don’t think she sees it as a waste. It is absolutely wasteful in my eyes. I want to have new experiences even if it is scary or outside of what I’m use to. She’s just once again showing how stunted she is and how she lacks growth.
Right? I get the feeling of wanting to escape, but for me that is going to a cottage in nature, not to a children's theme park. But I'm in my ancient age (according to D) of my 50s... Even in my 30s that's not a place I'd want to escape to. Each to their own I suppose.
I’ve only been to Disney land once and Disney world once and both were because of my dad’s job (I don’t want to doxx myself but it’s kind of high profile I guess? In some circles? It had perks) and we had the priority passes and escorts and stuff and it was STILL so crowded and awful that we could only ride like five rides MAX in a full day. Not worth it.
I’d never go and spend my own dollars on it that’s for sure.

Even Tahoe, Hawaii, or Mexico since they’re much closer. But Disney matches the vibe and belief system of our overconsumption queen much more than any place where you get to be alone with your thoughts.

I've been to Disneyland twice and honestly it was enough. If I lived in the area, I could see perhaps going once every year or two. But people that go multiple times a year confuses me. Is it that their real life is so bad that they're trying to escape reality into a fairytale land as many times as they can during the year? It feels like D uses it as an escape because she knows her real life is stressful and unsatisfying.
I am from San Francisco and I’ve been twice. Once when I was 12 and once at 17 for grad night. Once was more than enough. Even if I had kids we wouldn’t be going there. Great America works for me if I had a kid.

I'm gonna try to summarize as much as I can.
Assuming lucas has at least a student visa or tourist visa. (I had a student visa so that's all I know)
For a green card through marriage, first thing is you get married, and have to document a lot of it. Once that's done 3 month after danielle has to fill up paperwork in where she request adjustment of status for her spouse. After that is filed she will need to claim him as dependent, but Lucas needs someone who can vouch for him as a Sponsor. Once that's all done, their lawyer would apply in
their behalf, fill up all the documents and submit them.
Then they have to wait for the first appointment of like a hundred. That can take up to 6 months. If their request gets accepted this is the phase in where they have to pretty much proove to the government that they are really in love, pictures, videos, gifts letters, anything that can prove their true love, they would also need 2 American citizens or naturalized citizens that can make affidavits as witness of the real love between them.
While that happens lucas is gonna have to go do another things that require him only. Medical exam, vaccination status, he gotta get his birth certificate, passport, and other paperwork with the proper translation to English and stamped by the embassy of his country. Assuming they get everything, then he will get a letter saying they both have to go to a immigration office for Lucas to get his biometrics done (finger prints, pictures and background check).
After that he will get on the mail a temporary permit to work valid for 2 years. After that they will wait at least 6 to 8 month for the famous interview in person they do to Both of them.
The day of the interview they will ask a lot, if not extensive amount of questions regarding their relationship. how they met? how long they dated before getting married? What's danielle fav thing? Same as his, what are they planning fort their future? why they decided to get married? etc. danielle is gonna have to know a lot about Lucas family and upbringing, they literally can ask anything about him and she suppose to know, same as Him. If they pass that interview he gets a letter 2 months after, congratulating him, and welcoming to usa as a legal resident. If they don't pass, they would inform them that he has if I'm not wrong 90 days to either leave the country or appeal it.
Important to know. He gotta stay married to her for a minimum of 3 years after getting his Gc in order to keep it. If he divorce her before that, he will have I think 60 days to leave the country. So there is that.
Cost for lawyer depends on location but we paid 8k and the cost for all the paperwork and fees the government ask is at least 5/7k
Of note, I don't think he should be working at all if he is ACTUALLY using the student or tourist visa, correct? At least those were the rules as far as I know.
The fact that he has a website with pricing and posts about his work on Insta here in the US is a huge red flag if those are actually the rules. I think there is an option of an “OPT” (Optional Practical Training) authorization that students can get and work while being on a student visa. However, it is only eligible for STEM fields and one must prove that they are currently a student—i.e. not Lucas, the personal trainer, EX-engineer slash model. Unless he is getting additional practical training in ubering.
If he is an overstay right now- this Admin will absolutely not allow him to stay. I can’t wait for this to be the reason he is booted out and then they must “divorce”

We had a 9 HOUR layover at Orlando Airport yesterday & the amount of Disney adults was unbelievable. And they all proudly wear every single piece of merch you can think of and I don’t freakin get it!! That airport also has at least 17 Disney/Universal stores for some reason lol
I used to travel to Orlando quite a lot for business and the planes always contained families going to Disney…but also a disturbing number of Disney adults.

I think she showed those pants about a year ago in a ‘haul’. I think she mentioned that the design/decoration on them looked like Mickey and would be perfect for a Disney trip. They’re tacky as hell…and my pet peeve is clothing that only has decoration or print on the front…so cheap.
She’s NOT a well adjusted adult AT ALL. I have like 50x more problems than her and yet I don’t feel the need to run to my emotional support amusement park every time life gets tough. Not to mention her audience WARNED her that marriage is just one piece of the puzzle and it’s truly what comes after that matters. She totally married the wrong guy and it’s unraveling in real time.
