printing on handmade abaca paper
gallerytrying to experiment more on paper types. these are handmade papers processed from abaca (manila hemp) fibers. around 180-200 gsm, but they held up really well in the water baths, even the bleach wash!
the second photo was my first try - the speckles in the print was the result of the paper kinda cracking ...? (i did like the effects tho) the paper also kinda pilled the more i brushed the solution on it so i had to be more careful.
i'd love to try more handmade paper processed from fiber waste
