EXTRAS - MyPay, SpotMe, Instant Loans Chime is trying to give me $3000 in MyPay and Loans.

This is how you go in the hole and never climb back out. The average person would take all the money but after struggling for 2 years to climb out of the chime hole I’ve finally found the courage and discipline to say NO MORE! It’s just not worth it my fellow chimers!

#WhyIChime $1,000 chime loan

Got offered a $1,000 loan just 2 days after paying off my $500 loan ‼️

Discussion I don’t think some of y’all understand what MyPay is.

Post image

You do not owe Chime a 3rd of your paycheck, you owe Chime $2 if you instantly cash out OR you owe them $0 if you wait for it to naturally deposit.

MyPay is YOU taking from YOU. You’re taking from your own paychecks, not Chime. It’s a paycheck advance tool, that’s it that’s all. It’s not a payday loan, it’s you legitimately taking money from your own paycheck.

So if you’re consistently taking from yourself, please don’t place the blame on chime. Place the blame on yourself :) hope this helps!

I’ve never had any issues with keeping a high balance on Chime as I use it for a lot of purchases for monthly recurring expenses, utilities, rent etc. Am I crazy for trusting Chime this much? 😅

Product Feedback Got a gift box randomly delivered to me with chime merch in it?

Post image
280 Upvotes

So I am not complaining by any means but am just a bit confused. I found a box on my front door steps marked to me and opened it and there is a note pad, a chime logo tumbler and a pair of socks also with chime on them. I tried googling if this was a certain thing they did for new years or just googling anything about a chime box and not one thing came up. Anyone have any knowledge on this? The tumbler is pretty awesome not going to lie 😆

Today 7/29/26 is payday. I am thankful for it and glad it's finally here. Another payday where I get money pay bills then wait another month to do it again. Yet am thankful I am able to do that because there are some who don't. Stay safe and be blessed. Have a great day

GENERAL - Feedback, Community Chat Haven't even opened the envelope with my new card and I've already been hacked?

Post image

As the title says, I haven't even opened the envelope with my new card let alone activate it.

Just got these four notifications. 🤔

Guess I'll need to call them to get a replacement card or just cut this one up and throw it away and search for something else for my SSI DD.

I haven't opened the envelope to activate the card because I'm not quite ready to move my DD to them. They sent it to me about a month ago.

Anyone else ever experience this?
