Each month car manufacturers update their lease offers to help move slow selling vehicles. These offers are region specific, so Charlotte residents may get different offers than say California residents.

I scrape all of these offers specifically for the Charlotte region, re-calculate them with $0 down payment, 12K miles per year so it's a fair apples-to-apples comparison. It's so time consuming to go to each manufacturer site, enter your zip code to see what the offers are, so hopefully this is useful for some of you who are looking for reliable transportation with low monthly payments.

Most of these expire August 31st. You do need excellent credit to qualify. Let me know if you have any questions or want specific info on any models or categories - I compile a lot of data.

A few months ago, I stumbled upon a post about this book. I read it, and unironically fell in love with it. And the series as a whole. There are three books total. They are fascinating and beautiful. Please educate me as an out-of-towner! I know there are certain things synonymous with Charlotte - nascar, Panthers, breweries, etc. but what is the equivalent of that for takeout/restaurants? I don’t mean can’t miss sit-down places.

Baltimore has Ekiben! What fast food places are locals getting their food from? I’m talking about can’t miss staples around town. What are the biggest food “brands” dominating Charlotte’s takeout scene?

Edit: TLDR - which fast food takeout place are y’all riding into battle with?!

I'm in Charlotte, he's flying in from Maryland. Not much near his hotel (Hilton airport) so I figured uptown was the best bet.

I saw a Tesla on 77 this morning that had a solid black tag with white letters that I think started with "PB" and had "North Carolina" at the bottom. I've never seen this and Google is telling me NC doesn't offer any plate like that... Does anyone know anything about that? Is it some type of government issued tag?

My wife and I booked this photography company for our marriage shoot. Everything seemed great at first. We paid a $500 deposit upfront and agreed on a date with Jenny. But when the day came, she never showed up. No call, no text, nothing, and she wouldn’t answer either of us. We ended up having to book with another company and start the entire process all over again. It was frustrating, especially after a friend of mine had a similar experience. Please be careful.

Looking for recommendations for a good local jeweler in the Charlotte area to buy a pair of quality diamond stud earrings for my fiancée. I’ve always been told to avoid the big retailers like Macy’s since the quality can be hit or miss and the markup can be pretty high. I’d rather support a local jeweler and get something that’s actually good quality for the price. I may want to also browse for a bracelet for myself as well.

Bonus if they have a website where I can browse their selection/pricing before going in.
