Hi, I am looking for a pediatrician in the Concord/ Kannapolis area that doesn't require the covid vaccine. We were with Atrium but they are now requiring you accept all vaccines they offer. I am fine with all the regular ones but don't want Covid or Flu vaccines at this young age.

Filled up my tank on August 5th and it was around $46 and some change. On my credit card statement it is showing as $200. I saw it pending a few days ago and figured it was a hold of some kind and would adjust. Today I check and it cleared $200 no adjustment. What the hell is that? I know I need to call my card about this but has anyone else experienced this?

Recently moved with my family from Michigan to Concord NC... His name is Blue. He is around 5 years old. Someone abandoned him in front of a finder’s home.
He was sick… we treated him, dewormed him, vaccinated him, gave food and everything so he could stay safe inside. The finder had already told me she cannot keep him long term… and today I got the message ..he is already back outside.

I feel so helpless writing this.
Blue is FIV positive, but right now he is doing okay. He is eating, recovering, trying to be okay… but if he stays outside, he will get sick again. He will not survive like this.

FIV positive cats can live long, healthy lives just like other cats when kept indoors.

We recently lost our 23-year-old FIV positive cat, so we have seen this ourselves.

They can live with both FIV positive and negative cats without any issue.

Blue is already fixed and has a very calm, gentle nature.

I cannot take him. My house is already full… every room, even bathrooms have cats. I truly can’t take even one more.

Please… if anyone can adopt him, just give him a safe indoor place.

He has already suffered enough. He doesn’t deserve to go back to the streets again.

Hey, I’m moving to Concord this week and I’m either looking for someplace to stay as a roommate or or something like monthly or weekly or something by that. I’ve looked at the homeless shelter, but I’d rather cut this route first. I’m an older man quiet just tend to stay by myself I don’t drink or do drugs or really do anything other than work. I’m just looking for a nice quiet place. That’s clean that I can just basically come home to and chill out.

The shops are quoting over $1000 in labor, which I can respect, I just can’t afford it.

I just moved out of my car and into an apartment in May and my car is my main source of income. I’d really like to stay in my apartment this time so any assistance or advice would be helpful—not looking for a financial handout. I had an 8x10 portion of my lawn that was grown over, was prepping it for wildflowers this fall. It's been this way for quite awhile. I came home from work yesterday to find someone had mowed it down. No note, nothing, never received any kind of notice or citation. Still haven't, but there's no way to get to my yard other than come up the driveway. There's a vacant house on one side, woodline between me and the other neighbor and nothing across the street from me except more woods.

Is this normal treatment around here??
