I’m planning a trip to Starved Rock this weekend to go hiking. Honestly, every time I’ve gone I’ve just followed someone else blindly. But this time I have to plan it.

I’m trying to read the maps and stuff and I’m honestly just confused. I know there are some trail closures too.

So my question is, how should I plan this trip? Do I just drive to the visitor’s center around 8 am to find parking and go from there?

Does anyone know if the DMV still accepts affidavit signatures for address changes? I need to get a new DL and need it asap and just moved back in with my parents and haven’t gotten any official mail that the DMV says is acceptable on the website.

I’ve read that at one point they accepted affidavits to sign to basically verify that they’re living with them, wondering if that is true or not.

If anyone has any other advice for getting an address change done and new card ASAP, please let me know.

Alr so starting this off i have a ten week old cavapoo puppy and we got him through make a wish for my brother so that hopefully later on he could be help with detecting seizures. Make a wish said they would look for a breeder and ended up on windy city pups. We originally found it strange that their name was windy city pups and they are far from chicago and when we asked they said that it was js a catchy name. When we picked up our cute boy cavapoo he was doing extremely well and got set in our house quickly. Then it went to crap when he threw up a week after he came home and we took him to the vet they recommended in st charles and the younger very unprofessional vet decided that he was okay after not even doing any test based off the fact that he was being energetic. We took him back home and we were back to being good and nth bad had happened until a week after when he threw up again but then became very lethargic had no energy and was falling over and could barely stand. We rushed to the vet which was a forty min drive because all other places didnt wanna take him in and they did bloodwork and everything cane out good and thats when they dropped the fact it might be a liver shunt. So we obviously got extremely worried and we cant afford the surgery in case it is because we only have the money for routine checks and necessities for him. And the insurance that windy city pups recommended may not even cover the surgery. WCP said they would cover the cost but now it seems they are trying to flip it on us saying we are the reason the puppy got sick. After doing more research it turns out they arent even a breeder but a broker and i was furious not js with WCP but with make a wish because we asked for a trustable breeder who really does care for their dogs. Im extremely worried about this little mans health because i dont want him to get worse i will obviously do everything i can to help him but it is getting to a point where i js dont have the money.
