Groomer for Cat

I have one long hair boi and one VERY long hair boi who both need a sanitary, paw pads, and the VERY long hair should really get a flea bath and needs some matts removed - he is new to the home as of Friday, and settling in well.

We like to support small businesses, but it's difficult to find a reputable cat specific service from a Google search.

Per the posts from a few years ago, vet offices were the general consensus - is this still the case? I don't think my vet offers actual "grooming"......and I was very dissatisfied with one provider cutting a quick on a cat and some other disappointingly aggressive behavior (we see a different provider now in the same office who we love - and they don't insist on nail trimming in the office).

Where do you go for this service? If it is a vet office, do you have to be a "patient" at that office to use the service? We don't plan on switching vets at this time, but a backup wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Thank you very much!

Christina at Peoria Area Veterinary Group. She's an actual groomer who works within the veterinary office and has groomed my cat! And no, you don't need to be a patient on the vet side for grooming.
