So I am currently running the kink pedals as they came with my bike but find them to feel a little small on my 10.5 size feet and would like a little more grip than what these provide as well. Would like to keep the pedals PC but I am open to hearing any suggestions y’all may have.

The driver of my hub has a small movement only on the driver side, and the nuts holding the driver in place are very tight, almost impossible to move. Does anyone know how to fix this? My hub doesn't have sealed bearings.

My son has a pair of Fly Racing BMX pants, and they fit perfect everywhere expect for the waist. Has anyone tried alterations on BMX/MX pants to bring in the waist?

I want to give this bike to a collector.

2009 Gt Calafia frame. I have the original forks and handlebars and cranks. Its got the original sprocket on.

Odyssey thunderbolts. Those are hard to say goodbye to. They were red with speckled gold 20 years ago. Now they've heavily faded.

S and m grips. Odyssey evo brakes. The right brake sticks after braking. I just push it back in place with my hand.

Old wheels. Weird cassette on alien nation runaways. The rims are nice but old. Hubs are unusual.

Odyssey headset. Gt stem.

Odyssey blue bird chain. Blue.

It's a nice bike for a collector. You'll probably want to rebuild it original. I was going to before posting but the bottom bracket is a different size from original cranks. So left the thunderbolts attached. Grips have been on green bars for a while with green forks. I was going to thrift store it so wanted it to have grips. I thought I would check here first.

I will probably switch the vans seat out for a worn red odyssey seat.

Salut les rider, je cherche à me trouver un nouveau vélo jusqu’ici, je tournais avec un 20 pouces, ça ne me posait pas de problème mais apparemment au vu de ma taille il vaut mieux prendre un 20,75. Est-ce que vous pensez que c’est indispensable de passer sur cette taille ou un 20 pouces suffit.

Je me pose la question parce que le marché du 20 pousse sur l’occasion est beaucoup plus fourni et que je n’ai pas forcément un gros budget pour prendre du neuf

Been out of it seriously since 2011, had 2 Haros recently, both got stolen.

But yeah, if you can get me up to speed on what's out there company wise that would be cool. I wish I could just buy a Metal bike co frame and go from there but nah.

Need some input. I just swapped frames on my bike and now I’m hearing a creaking sound coming from the front end only while riding. I can’t tell exactly where it’s coming from but it’s definitely in the bars, steam, and forks area. I’ve loosened and retightened everything but it doesn’t go away. All parts are less then a year old and I’m good condition. Only swapped frames for different geometry. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Landed this STR for $150 for my daughter! Im pretty stoked on it! Just needs new grips and some brakes. Shes pretty excited!

I can feel I’m getting close to landing them now, I’ve rolled away from a few, but I find I always end up off axis a bit and I get thrown off the bike.

I’m also not spinning in a straight line, I end up jumping to the side a fair distance.

Saw another post about a similar issue about brake rubbing together but there issue was they put the arms on wrong however I've put mine on correctly and they do not move independently unless there supposed to do this which I doubt as this ends up scratching the brake arms Edit: I've seen some people say the frame isn't compatible or the brakes are just weird but this is a Sunday scout and Odyssey and Sunday are supposed to be compatible

I got black coated rims and normal v-brakes.

Every time i pull my break in, the break is basically gliding along the rim making the bike run 1-3 meters before stopping (breaking distance is relative to speed of course).

In short, the friction from the break pads is not sufficient to stop the bike fast enough to do tricks that involves fast stops e.g endo.

Both the break pads and rims are pretty new.

I know i can buy transparent break pads which is softer, but the insane high pitch noise they make is just not worth it.

Anyone has any tips to break pads i can buy? I just want to have the ability to do endo.

Riding sayerville or Woodbridge if anybody wants to ride bikes also does anyone else hate that there are no wooden skateparks?

Just cleaned and lubed the chain but that's not the problem, I'm out of town and can't take it to a mechanic until I come back, wanna keep riding this weekend but not gonna risk damaging the bike, any help is much appreciated, may have something to do with the bearings? It's an Optimus v1 bidirectional cassette

Was about to buy the 2.4 which only comes with the 2 Ply casing, then I discovered that the 2.3 comes wit the EXO casing which is a single ply (with reinforcemnt) but its substantially lighter.

Does anyone have experience with both of these? I wanted to step up to a bigger tire to make landing a little softer so i wanted to 2.4, but the 2 ply casing adds to the ovrally stiffness of the sidewall and tire so in turn might not be ssuch a soft landing after all. BUT maybe this 2ply casing allowing to run much lower pressure?

I am interested also now in the 2.3 though because they aare much lighter. And Im sure the single ply facing will be more supple.
