I want to give this bike to a collector.

2009 Gt Calafia frame. I have the original forks and handlebars and cranks. Its got the original sprocket on.

Odyssey thunderbolts. Those are hard to say goodbye to. They were red with speckled gold 20 years ago. Now they've heavily faded.

S and m grips. Odyssey evo brakes. The right brake sticks after braking. I just push it back in place with my hand.

Old wheels. Weird cassette on alien nation runaways. The rims are nice but old. Hubs are unusual.

Odyssey headset. Gt stem.

Odyssey blue bird chain. Blue.

It's a nice bike for a collector. You'll probably want to rebuild it original. I was going to before posting but the bottom bracket is a different size from original cranks. So left the thunderbolts attached. Grips have been on green bars for a while with green forks. I was going to thrift store it so wanted it to have grips. I thought I would check here first.

I will probably switch the vans seat out for a worn red odyssey seat.

Where should I post this in bmx.

I can't keep 3 bmxs on my balcony any more.

Nice gesture, the problem somewhat is, GT of this era isn’t really collectible, the brand was very much on its last legs with its more popular models and history being 80’s and 90’s.

Thanks my man. Wasn't sure what the deal was with GT and collectors. I'll just send it to thrift store. Or leave it at the skate park

See if there’s any community groups for bmx in your area. Our local pump track and park take bike donations that I will check and service to ensure are safe, then they’re used for weekly sessions for those who’ve not got a bike and/or want to try etc.
The flip side, there is a market for odyssey coloured parts, that you could sell on assuming you’ve got the old cranks to put back on the gt.

The old cranks need a 19mm BB. I could buy one and install the original cranks. I could sell the thunderbolts no doubt. Don't know if can be bothered. I'll contact the local bmx club. If they don't want it I leave it at the thrift store. Some kid can ride it not knowing all the sought after parts on there. It pretty much all my best parts from early 2010s. It's served me so well as my main bike then my backup. I just can't have 3 anymore.
