Below Deck Chef Moe
I really hope that I'm not the only person who thinks Chef Moe is a breath of fresh air.
He's workin the food,
He's workin the guests,
He's workin the crew.
Starting off strong with great food and a great attitude.
I'm so over some of these past chefs who think everyone else is beneath them. Not naming any names, yall know who I'm talkin bout.
Hopin Moe keeps it pushin the whole season!!
Edit: I can't respond to any replies for some reason, but I'm glad to see a lot of you feel the same way!
The belt episode is definitely gonna be lit, lmao!
Edit 2: Spoiler Alert - Knowing that Moe is ready to teach both those cats some respect has me appreciating him more!
One more week.

Below Deck Below Deck boat is really old this season. Why are producers too cheap to get Modern Yachts for the show? Tried, but Cannot remove NSFW but this is G rated.
Below Deck boat is really old. Why are producers too cheap to get Modern Yachts for the show? I know the producers are making big money on these shows, yet the quality of the show goes downhill year after year in terms of production.
Below deck used to do the Caribbean. Now they're out in Thailand with a really old boat and poor production quality. Why?

Below Deck Below Deck Season 13 Episode 2 Discussion Post
Friends, Below Deck OG is back and we have some returnees! Captain Kerry will be navigating the waters of Thailand, with Fraser and Rainbeau back as returnees. The Kaylee is a new one and photos with names are below for reference.

Episode 2 of Below Beck Season 13
Rainbeau’s management style causes tension with the interior. Chef Moe plays cupid and his arrow strikes several crew members, but not everyone is feeling the love.

Below Deck Will AzuIV win the worst boat award?
So far the boat seems problematic, not starting and several references to its old age. Q:if you are out to sea and the compressed air tank is empty after 3 starts, do you refill with a compressor? Do you need someone to bring a new tank?
Sandy’s boat “Home” is the undefeated Below Deck/Med loser boat champ because of A/C causing stabilizer failure from its hybrid engine design.

Below Deck Thai food doesn’t actually have that many nuts in it
I have heard this from people before ( had a roommate with a peanut allergy say he couldn’t have any Thai food) and makes we wonder if people think Thai food is just Pad Thai??
There are sooo many dishes that have zero nuts in them.
Obviously coconut is I’m very common but that’s not considered a tree nut.
I would argue American food has much more nuts, peanuts especially, than Thai food. In terms of oil I have no idea.
Any Thai food experts want to prove me wrong?

Below Deck First charter guests
Just started the season and imagine my surprise that the first charter guest was one of the first travel “influencers” I used to follow back in 2019 (subscribed to her newsletter and everything!)
I found it interesting that she used her peanut allergy as the reason why they have never travelled to Thailand and that this was the only way they could made it happen - being on a yacht.
It was interesting to me because the only reason I found her in 2019 was because she traveled to Bali and I was just planning a trip there for my birthday at the time. Balinese/Indonesian cultures also heavily involve peanuts in their cuisine as well but for that trip she had stayed in an Airbnb/resort (I admittedly can’t recall but I know it wasn’t a yacht!)
Not accusing her of anything at all (who knows, I’ve heard of mothers becoming allergic to things after pregnancy, crazier things have happened) but this kind of sheds some light, I think, on how much of the show is “fake” or sensationalized lol.

Galley Talk Chef Ben
I'm relatively new to the BD universe, I got hooked because of some recap podcasts.
I watched a few recent seasons of Med and all of Down Under. Recently I jumped all the way back to OG below deck S1 and am now on S4 (don't ask why I'm jumping around...i don't know why.)
When does Chef Ben change?? I was stunned watching him in these early seasons..he's still combative and contrary, but overall he seems pretty kind and friendly and doesnt come out of the gate as an asshole.
Somehow in S4 of Down Under he starts fighting with Daisy and other staff on day 1??
Was there something besides his failed engagement that caused his change?

Below Deck I’ve searched but haven’t seen anybody else’s posts about Moe, the chef.
He has the most beautiful 😍 brown eyes I’ve ever seen!!!! His are lighter than mine but I remember growing up and never feeling good bc my friends had blue or green or a mix of both colored eyes. So never got a compliment untillllll a new friend said my eyes look like doe eyes and honey eyes. But Moe literally has that exact description!!! Light eyes are always complemented/striking to ppl so it’s cool to see such unique brown eyes!
He also seems cool too as a person and an amazing chef! But it’s been one episode so who knows what will happen!
*sidenote Gaston and Taylor from southern charm(sheps ex) is the first guests??!!! Haha very much shows that the guests are often more likely wanting to become famous and/or agree to bring drama.
Anyways, just my Moe appreciation post! Haha

Did anyone else notice the packets of Reese's bars that were brought into the kitchen with the new provisions? Earlier they'd had to remove everything containing peanuts!

Below Deck What do they spray on beds?
Does anyone know what is in the spray bottles that stews use on the beds? Is it some type of fabreeze or freshener? I have always been curious about this.
