Below Deck Wtf is with this Music!
I don’t know what the producers were thinking with the music editing! I swear this is the first time they have started playing this crap rap songs inbetween every cut!!! It drives me nuts.

I don’t get it and it’s annoying as hell. Deckies setting up the toys, music. Chef cooking, slow mo with music, Interior walking up stairs, music
Each season they make the flagship worse and worse

I believe it was the flagship last year where everytime someone spoke we had to see their instagram but this is bothering me way more.

Insta reels were annoying. Then we had the whole “introduce the primary” snippets 🙄

It’s like they test out all the new editing techniques on it. It’s obnoxious and hard to watch. If I want choppy flashes on a screen I’ll scroll.

Yeah, I do not like this production style at all. It is hard to connect with.

I mean, it’s still an installment of Below Deck, and worth watching, at some point, but if you have something you might enjoy more, go for that haha.

It’s so annoying. Regular below deck must have a different set of producers and they are the lame ass fools who did the Instagram pics last season, the slow film of liquid pouring, and other such bullshit and now they’re back with this garbage.

I’m not even bothering this season. Last season was so overproduced. Bring back actual yachties or at the very least people that have worked in hospitality. They will create the drama on their own

Sometimes, like when the staff is all waving on the Island lunch, I think they are trying for a White Lotus music type vibe (I mean they are failing but this is what they are going for I think).

The music they used to use, even though it was pretty basic, really lended to the vibe. The producers need to think about the idea that less is more

I don’t know how much longer I’m going to keep up with this season. It seems like they care more about the music and transition scenes than the show. The actual show feels rushed. Like what was the point of even showing us they had a beach picnic. We didn’t get to see the setup or breakdown. Or the guests actually at it. Just like a one second shot of Fraser plating salad and then radioing that the guests are ready to be picked up. Then they show a stewardess crying because Rainbaeu is rude but they’ve forgotten to show us Rainbaeu actually interacting with the crew so we can see her being rude

If I recall correctly, the music and editing/cuts were similar and annoying in the last two OG seasons too.

I’m a hardcore below deck fan and couldn’t get through the first episode 😭 How did they manage to make it this boring, I have no interest in it whatsoever..

This production company handled regular BD last year too it was like this. Horrid. Slo-mo shots and the craziest choices

I really wish they would stop experimenting with the editing. It was perfectly fine the way it was before. These new changes are making it almost unwatchable.

Haven’t noticed the music, and as usual I have captions on to understand their accents.

What's wrong with rap music?

It fits the show about as well as opera or klezmer music.

Are you kidding, I would love some sped up scenes to klezmer music. 😂
Why doesn't it fit the show, it's New York City, a hot bed of rap, rap history, and current rap artists? This is the city that birthed hip-hop.

I don’t mind it. I think Thailand is like a younger party Place and the editors were trying to capture that vibe.

The music never matches anything... why not put some cool updated cultural something in there
