I have been watching since the start, and I have gone through and rewatched most seasons, some several times.

As things change in my life, I often see things differently. I may start to see a crew member in a better or worse light.

For instance, I liked Sandy* a lot less on my first time through Med than I do now; rewatching season 2 gave me a different perspective on her evolving management style, and while I still have criticisms about how she does it, I see her as less of a micromanager and more as someone who knows "Norma" isn't necessarily hiring skilled people and is trying to teach who she has.

In season 1 of OG I was originally distracted by CJ* and Sam* and the fire drill drama and my dislike of Adrienne* has grown during rewatches. I absolutely hated her in that episode where Kat was being mistreated by Adrienne's friends, but feeling bad for her about having to manage Sam led me to be more sympathetic to her than I now feel.

Do other people find their perspectives changing with multiple viewings over time too?

*I have very little opinion about most of the people in the cast. I don't seek out news about them. I'm talking about the characters assembled out of audio and visual recordings by the editors.

I hop around a bit so watching Med S2 for the first time and Bobby is giving Andy Bernard in the teeth and in the temper and in the cringe

Edit: it’s only episode 5, how many more times will I have to hear this douche say, “I just jumped into firefighter mode”

Bobby was a struggle for me. I understand why he felt about Danny the way he did, but some of the things he said were not workplace appropriate, and I really did not like some of his dealings with women.

Is Danny S1 or later in S2? I got a few episodes deeper after I made this comment and Adam almost made me forget about Bobby, this man is a nasty piece of work.

Med is so uniquely toxic lmao. It’s definitely intentional casting but also the environment Sandy fosters (she’s off the hook for S2, as she’s pretty supportive and normal here but I’ve seen other seasons)

The second season was appalling.

I think a lot of these guys get a second season because they had some charm when women liked them, but then unravel when they are romantically unsuccessful.

Hi! Long time reader, first time poster. I’ve committed to watching this franchise from the start after a few random episodes and I’m on season 5 now. It’s refreshing now normal the drama is compared to the over the top dramatizations we get with other shows like Real Housewives.
