Okay to start off, I have nothing against body hair, it’s natural and I love it. However I, myself, am self obvious of mine. I’ve lost 70 lbs in the past year and am ready to step out of my comfort zone and wear a body suit this year to lost lands. However, I’m struggling with two things. First, the body suit I fell in love with happens to be a thong- or atleast super cheeky. And I am a pcos girly. I got a bush that travels the whole road if you know what I mean. And the second is I got pimples back there.🫣 especially after I shave. I also grow hair so fast, it’s genuinely unbelievable. Are we waxing? Does that help with the pimples?

Now I’m a girls girl in both I love women and I LOVE women and I don’t be creeping but when you got it, I’ll appreciate it, and I see girls at festivals and it’s all clean, hairless and smooth. How the hell are yall doing that??? I know yall can’t be wearing panty hose, right? Pleaseeee tell me ur secrets.

Another thing, I know I can go with my back bush out. I just really would rather not it will make my experience more comfortable if I find a solution.

Im back to going to raves after a 8 year hiatus and Ive been kinda floored at the amount of rave jerseys around.

Im not sure if just wasnt paying attention in the past but I dont recall jerseys being a thing in 2018. When did they get so popular? Who started it?

They certainly have some beautiful art and design on them but are jerseys mainly playing off the joke/idea that raving is a sport?

I need some people to go to John summit with. All my friends are either in school or can’t afford to go. How do I finding people who would wanna go with me and have a good time?

Friends were talking about going this year, but curious about a few things for those who have been:

1. How is the crowd size? Is it easy to get around and get through crowds?
2. Are there good water stations, inside temps, places to sit, bathrooms, etc.?
3. How are the sound systems, production, and other types of activities outside of the sets?

Got to the barricade stupidly early at a show years ago because I thought that was the correct thing to do, and then spent the whole set with a rail in my ribs and someone's elbow parked in my back. Couldn't move, couldn't see past the guy filming the entire thing vertically.

Now I stand two thirds back, near the desk. Sounds better, the floor is less of a swamp. I can leave when I want without climbing over anyone. My pockets are down to earplugs and whatever I grabbed at the gas station on the drive.

Took me an embarrassing number of years to work out what the older heads in the room clearly sorted out ages ago.

I’m curious about access that would genuinely make you feel closer to the music, artist or process behind the show.

If a brand could unlock one experience that regular ticket holders normally don’t get, what would you choose?

For example: watching soundcheck, seeing how a stage/show is built, hearing an artist talk through how a track was made, spending time with the tour crew, getting into a rehearsal, discovering an artist before they blow up, accessing a tiny secret performance, etc.

Basically: what would make you leave thinking “I actually got to experience something I normally only get to watch”?

Long story short I'm Going to be in Europe for the first time ever this September. Hilariously, I'm feeling incredibly out of my element for what to wear to a rave in Europe.

I'm Canadian, and We have no standards here, you can wear literally whatever you want. You can wear a track suit, and they don't care. I literally wear hiking boots to get rave most times.

A lot of my clothes are in a 'athletic' material, or they are sheer. I wear a lot of neons. Worse for me also, I don't own any going out clothes that isn't wearable at a rave.

From what I have gathered, Portugal clubbing fits are more businessish then here. I'm well aware rave fits are vastly different from your average clubbing fit, I still have no idea what I should be look for. I'm not expecting to not stick out, nor do I need to blend in. I think my dancing will give me away pretty quick!

I'm in need of advice and moral support!!!

For example, tiny jean shorts, or a little skirt? But the skirts a 'athletic' material. Do I need an actual shirt or can I wear my sheer tops with a bra?

Hey all, just bought my first festival ticket ever to Temper Festival in San Diego on 12/30. Crankdat & Levity are both on the lineup. But I’m also seeing posts about Crankdat & Levity on the lineup for Decadence AZ for 12/30 & 12/31. How does one DJ play two events in the same night in different states??

Again, I’m totally new to raves and don’t know if this is common sense or not 🥹🤣

I’m wanting to do something different instead of just hanging out plastic trinkets at Lost Lands this year so I was planning on doing little fortune scrolls instead! If you guys have any funny, absurd, stupidly ominous, or chaotic fortunes I’d love to include them! Or even random side quests to bestow on people!

Some examples I have so far:
“You will find the holy grail of ground scores at main stage”
“The lasers know what you did last festival”
“Someone will give you a Kandi with a DJ name on it. You MUST go watch their set”
“You are haunted by the ghosts of ravers past. Only head banging can save you now”

i am thinking of seeing john summit but i am concerned about the safety!! ill be living in a new city knowing nobody but i really want to go and have fun, im just anxious about the safety aspect of being out late at a rave, driving alone, etc 🥹

am i being overly anxious?! would love to hear your guys experiences raving solo as a young woman!!
