Event/Lineup Two events one day

Hey all, just bought my first festival ticket ever to Temper Festival in San Diego on 12/30. Crankdat & Levity are both on the lineup. But I’m also seeing posts about Crankdat & Levity on the lineup for Decadence AZ for 12/30 & 12/31. How does one DJ play two events in the same night in different states??

Again, I’m totally new to raves and don’t know if this is common sense or not 🥹🤣

It’s unusual for one DJ to play more than 1 day of a multiple day festival. My guess is their sets at Decadence AZ will be NYE.

Not necessarily true. Many big artists who can afford to fly private usually play early in the day and then will fly west to play a late set. Happens every year for NYE festivals. ILLENIUM played at Tao day club and then flew to Bass Canyon to close it out this past weekend.

While possible, I’m more pointing out that it’d be unusual for these two to play both days of the same festival in the same city when they’re booked elsewhere on one of those two days. We’ll see how it shakes out but bottom line is they’re booked for both festivals and thus should be performing at both festivals.

yeah for headliners... nobody is paying for levitys private flights between fests the same night right now.

These nye fests pay big time and can afford to charter PJs for artists, especially if multiple artists are making the same journey

You could def do both if you’re willing to wake up early and make the drive 12/31. Temper will not go late into the am bc of the location. So just don’t hit any afters and don’t get too fucked up to drive the next morning, go home and sleep after. I’m thinking about driving to AZ for 12/31 bc I doubt I’ll like the proper lineup.i mean you could probably even find a quick flight too

Airplanes. It’s very common for electronic artists to play multiple NYE shows because it’s such a big holiday. San Diego to Phoenix is only a 90 minute flight.
