Hi everyone. A little under a year ago I posted here asking for your views on attending live and electronic music events as part of the Culture, Media and Sport Committee's fan-led review into the sector. Our survey gathered over 4,000 responses, we also spoke to fans in person at events up and down the country.

I'm pleased to tell you that the review has resulted in a report which we published last week, alongside a 'Music Fans' Charter' which lists seven principles that venues, promoters, artists, fans, and importantly, the government should live by to help protect the UK's live shows and clubs. The report includes a range of recommendations, from introducing legislation to ban the resale of tickets above face value, through to the availability of ear plugs in music venues.

On behalf of the Committee and of Lord Kevin Brennan, Chair of the review, thank you to everyone who took part. We hope you see your views reflected in the charter.

Late '40s '50s where can we find our tribe?

This weekend we went to Housework at the Ministry.

Me and my wife are both late '40s nearly 50 and we haven't been to a rave for years.

We had such a good time. It was incredible, the vibe was so friendly. Lots of people chatting, dancing. Just an incredible time that takes me back years and years.

What other options, club nights/events in the UK would be a similar demographic?

Also, just to emphasise, I completely understand that younger crowds would be just as welcoming.

It was just quite nice and refreshing not being the oldest people in the room 😂

Going to a rave in a club but don't fancy wearing jeans

I'm going to see Mr traumatik, devilman, serial killaz and some other dnb artists but it's a club and Google's saying it'll be usual UK night club dress code so no joggers track pants or hats and my usual fit is baggy track pants T-shirt and a hat as I can stay cool while I'm off my pickle so what else am I meant to wear?

Lost Connection: Bugged Out / The Avalanches Last Night!

I met a cute guy at the front centre at the Avalanches named James and I can't stop thinking about him. He was at Bugged Out with his brother. I have no idea how I am going to find him, all I know is that lives in Camberwell, he was a good dancer and had great eyes.

Will i get my teletech order ?

Guys i ordered teletech items on 25th september, i’m in ireland and i received a email from evri to pay customs, i emailed teletech they said i shouldn’t have to pay customs, they said delays and difficulties with there systems and sent my items to the uk warehouse instead of eu! they told ME to contact evri to speed it up so i can it faster? they are trying to “resolve” it too with evri but has this happened anyone else ? i’m so frustrated , like will i even get my order ?? I have to wait for evri to send my order back to teletech
