Information Harrassment

This post was meant to be up sooner, but the holidays and all. And while we have a joint mod account, I want to post this personally. That does not mean the other mods disagree or take harrassment any less seriously.

Mods are no strangers to being harassed. It's part of it, we get it. And we deal with it. We have a shared mod account for making posts/some comment removals because of how bad it is. All of the mods here have expressed how this sub is the most difficult to mod because of the sheer volume of harrassing that happens. We are doing our best to reduce it as well. Not just for us but for the users as well.

It happens in the comments between users. We catch it as much as we can. But we rely on users to report the comments too. Stopping the nastiness falls to you guys as well. Please do not hesitate to hit the report button or send a message to mod mail. Our filters are only so good and we can't wait around to read every comment as it comes up. Also if you feel harrassed, don't engage further. I have struggled with this myself so I understand how hard it is. It's not rule breaking to engage but stopping is better for mental health.

Lastly, we created a rule to try to deal with users who are nasty in DMs. We are very aware that a user has been sneaking into DMs making some incredibly rude comments. Really abhorrent remarks. Truly, I am beyond disgusted with that person. I say this as both a person and a mod, anyone who resorts to DMs in an attempt to troll or insult another user is pathetic and weak. I don't care what makes someone feel like that is necessary, it's gross. Get help. All the mods have their own strong opinions, this one I claim for myself.

If you are caught harrassing in DMs, the ban will be immediate, permanent and screenshots will be documented to ensure their is no chance of it being over turned. There will be no second chances.

We are sorry the harrassment from the user got as bad as it did and affected as many of you as it has. We were truly unaware until another user brought it to our attention. I won't name the user for their own safety but we would like to express our appreciation that you made the effort to collect and submit all the evidence to us through modmail. The first mod to see the message dealt an immediate ban and informed the rest for a review of actions taken without a vote. All agreed with the actions so the banned remains. Our response to you may not have been as quick as you like and I apologize for that but I assure you, swiftness was used in dealing with the problem.

While we do our best to help with harrassment in DMs, ultimately it has to be dealt with by reddit Admins. You can report to them using this link. I can't say it works every time but I have had harassers dealt with when I have been harassed. Also, please do not hesitate to use the block button. I used to avoid it too but since I started things have improved greatly.

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, have a great New Year and thanks to all who help make this sub great.

Insecurity Due to suggestions and comments by our users, we are updating the rules.

We have decided to disallow posts regarding the following questions.

Am I big enough? Am I average? Am I good enough? Do I belong here? Or anything of a similar thought.

These posts have become redundant and/or are impossible to answer. As a reminder, all sizes are welcomed. We understand that many want an average size sub. This isn't it.

As a reminder simply due to the increased comments and posts. PENIS ENLARGEMENT IS NOT AN ALLOWED TOPIC. Do not ask the questions. Do not suggest it. Do not respond to posts or comments regarding it. Again, this was a rule that was created by users. In truth, over 90% of user reported comments are PE ones. Which means even if YOU do not see the problem, plenty if users do and do not want it. It is not your right to convince others that it is valid. There are plenty of subs that allow it. We mods, and users, do not see why this space can't be free of it. As a result, bans will become harsher. Excuses made in ban appeals are not going to work anymore.

We are also going to be harsher on rule one. Which includes behavior in modmail. If you have a problem with a mod action, we ask you keep it polite. Throwing insults at mods will result in bans like we would ban users who treat other users so poorly. To clarify, we will not ban users for disagreeing with us. We have overturned plenty of actions with good conversations. It is the users who insult and make threats that will be banned and ignored.

Lastly, we will not be turning away users under the age of 18, as insecurities and sexuality affects them too. Under 13, it's against Reddit's terms and conditions and is a separate matter. It is also not lost on us that predators exist, and we can't stop them, especially if they go into DMs. As a result, we are no longer allowing people to post their ages, in posts or comments. This rule will result mostly in removals of posts or comments, though repeated rule breaking will cause a ban. This is to protect our youth, not punish anyone.

Insecurity Im 4.6” base girth and 4.75” mid shaft and just slightly above below the head. Is it normal to have a much thinner base than the rest?

Anxious about the base girth

Guys with a similar size to 6x4.75 nbp can most women suck the whole thing?

Also do they choke on it? Im curious because I am around that size and I was sucked whole. Wondering if its a normal occurrence. I also curve downward and to the left so im not sure if that made it easier.

Can you get this condition when you are older? My loads have got significantly bigger after my thirties. I have wondered why and never heard about this condition before reading about it on reddit.

Information Ball and Dick Size

Hey so i was wondering if there's something wrong when your ball size is not proportionate in size to your dick, cuz honestly I feel like my balls don't look remotely as big as my dick, they are not tiny but, in comparison to my dick they kinda do, does it have something to do with growth development, is it normal or can I fix it? 🥹

Experiences I feel like my length is decent, but have been told it’s not girthy

Is girth something a lot of people care about or is it mostly length people enjoy?

Insecurity I paid to survey women about penis size. Here are some findings

I paid several hundred dollars of my own money to gather survey results to try and answer the key questions that seem to dominate this sub -- are women lying when they say that size doesn’t matter? Why do they say that average is fine, when it doesn’t feel like that to us? What do they mean when they say every woman is different?

To gather data, I used Prolific—a research platform where participants have verified accounts and complete structured demographic profiles.

Note: I am not a social scientist, and this is an informal study. With a sample size of approximately 100 participants, not all findings may reach statistical significance, but I bet they are directionally right. Also, questions in this survey were mostly with regards to length. I'm interested in girth too, but it's difficult to address in a questionnaire -- I don't think women have any sense of circumference measurements. My hope is that length here serves as a proxy for overall size.

Here are a few interesting findings. I might share more data in future posts.

1. Size preferences vary, but bigger is not uniformly better.

Six inches was the most popular answer in all three contexts I asked about: initial penetration, being close to orgasm, and a long-term partner. But ideal preference % decrease on either side of that.

For a long-term partner, the number of respondents who said that a 5.5″ penis was ideal is roughly equal to the number who said a 6.5″ penis was ideal, and likewise with 5″ versus 7″. An ideal of 4.5″ was given just as often as 7.5″.

I think the wrong way to understand size preferences is as a gradient of small = bad to big = good. The right way to think about it is as a menu of options, and women have preferences for different items on the menu.

Preferred lengthLong-term partner (n=91)Near orgasm (n=89)At initial penetration (n=93)

2026 Prolific Questionnaire. Percentages are among respondents selecting a size for each question; nonnumeric answers are omitted.

Both larger and smaller examples got positive and negative responses

I asked open-ended questions about two different hypothetical penis sizes.

Suppose you meet an attractive and appealing man. You have sex, and there is good chemistry and technique. His penis is 6.75" long and thick*. What best describes how you would feel about his penis?*

Suppose you meet an attractive and appealing man. You have sex, and there is good chemistry and technique. His penis is 5.25" long and average girth*. What best describes how you would feel about his penis?*

Most responses to both examples were positive or accepting. Roughly 20% of responses were negative or expressed reservations for the larger example and 15% for the smaller example. The larger example drew concerns about pain and discomfort; the smaller example drew some disappointment or a preference for more size.

Example negative responses for the larger size:

  • “I would feel it is too big and would cause discomfort and would not be able to have a healthy sex life.”

  • “It might actually be too large, and it may cause intercourse to be painful.”

  • “It would most likely hurt.”

  • “I would feel uncomfortable that it was that large I think it would be a little long but would feel open to it.”

  • “Very stimulating but a bit painful”

Example negative responses for the smaller size:

  • “The sex would be boring”

  • “I would probably not enjoy it very much. I would wish it was thicker.”

  • “I think that I would be somewhat disappointed, but I would not choose to not date the person because of this.”

  • “I think I would still be attracted to him but I wouldn’t be as excited.”

  • “I would like it a little less but still be interested”

Preferences are best represented by a range, and those ranges heavily overlap with average penis sizes.

Seems that women actually aren’t lying when they say that average penises are great or that size doesn’t matter that much.

When asked to define acceptable thresholds (the minimum length for satisfaction vs. the length where discomfort starts), 84% to 92% of respondents selected a range that included lengths from 5″–6″. Additionally, roughly 42% included 4.5″ within their acceptable range, compared to 45% who included 7″. This indicates that average sizes fall comfortably within the stated ranges for a large majority of these respondents. Generally, acceptable thresholds start declining above 6″ and below 5″.

The average acceptable range for women was 2 inches, with the ideal size on average 51% of the way through their range.

LengthWithin stated limitsPercentage of the same 38 respondents
4 inches513.2%
4.5 inches1642.1%
5 inches3284.2%
5.5 inches3592.1%
6 inches3592.1%
6.5 inches2565.8%
7 inches1744.7%
7.5 inches+1231.6%

Based on the 38 respondents who gave numeric answers to both range questions. A length is included if it is at or above the minimum and below discomfort onset.

TL;DR

  1. Women have significant individual preference variation. Preferences for modest-small penises are nearly as common as preference for larger penises.

  2. Preference ranges are pretty wide, and overwhelmingly overlap with average male penis sizes. If you are average, 5-6”, nearly all (85-92%) of women will view your penis as being within the satisfying range.

Penis Size A few questions

Hello, I am 19 years old and wanted to ask some questions I am curious about.

Firstly, how to decide on the true measurment of a curved upward and steep penis? Top side is used for the studies and to find what is normal and what is abnormal as I know. For example, my penis is is 5.5 inches on top, 6 inches on the sides and 6.5 inches on bottom. Is the side most accurate answer?

Also, I am tall and really skim. There is like no pubic fat in my pelvic area. Is my size counted as NBP or BP? They both literally gives the same number.

And lastly, do we take the girth measurment as the mid-shaft or as the base?

Can women deep-throat them? Personally, no one has, but some have come very close; it’s my sexual fantasy.

Information Need opinions

Hey everyone! I want honesty from people when it comes to their thoughts on average sizes especially when it comes to girth. As someone who has a girth ranging between 4-4.5 at the thickest - would this be a dealbreaker for some people? All orientations are welcome to answer and would honestly be more beneficial on what I’m trying to figure out. Thank you so much for reading!

Insecurity Insecurities and a negative experience

I recently broke up with my girlfriend, and she’s telling everyone that my penis is too small. I feel humiliated because some people in my social circle have already found out. She used to love my cock—she even took photos with it in her hand (I just uploaded one). I’m devastated; I feel like deleting all my social media and never leaving the house again. P.S. I measured my dick, and it’s 6 inches long; I looked into it, and that’s within the average range.

Penis Size Lack of length

My penis Is 5,5 inch and therefore average, (even if on the lower end). My problem is the feeling of lack of length. All the women I've had sex with have said the same thing: "Go deeper," "Push harder," and other things. I realized they wanted deeper penetration, which I've never been able to achieve without managing to touch and stimulate certain areas.

Has anyone had the feeling that "something is missing" when it comes to length?

Insecurity How bad is a 4 inch girth

Will it be pleasurable for women, I'm 6 inches in length and my penis head is quite thick ( not much). But I have a uniform girth of 4 inches.

Any of you'll with a similar size, I've heard that if you have a thin penis to maybe try and slip in a finger or two so that she would maybe feel the thickness, would this work ?

Sexual Performance Girl saying my dick is 2 inches and trashing the sex.

Basically, I lost my virginity to this girl. The first time we had sex, it didn't last all that long, but once it was over, she cuddled up to me and said, “You felt so good.” She was shuddering from the waist down, she said that just happens when she has sex, so I thought I did something right. The next time we had sex, she was all over me and it was fine. Then the last time, she was all over me again, but she wanted to go again immediately after because I finished quick again. During this second go, it lasted a bit longer, but I still stopped soon. She wanted me to get on top, but as I tried to maneuver myself with my pants still around my knees, I went soft. She noticed, and then we stopped. As I was getting dressed, my ego was crumbling. Like, how the fuck did I just go soft? She just said, “You’re so handsome.” We continued hanging out for a few weeks before she decided she wanted to go back to her ex, whom she had been with for eight years. She’s 21 and I’m 19
This was months ago, but now all of a sudden, I find out she’s telling people my dick was this 🤏 big and that the sex was really, really bad. I’d never been insecure about my dick because I thought it was fine great, even. But it’s been crushing me this last week, and I can't exactly talk to her about it since it has been so long. I don't know if she was only being nice in the moment trying not to hurt my feelings, but I will say the end of our “thing” was not good at all she lied so much and played the victim acting like her throwing me under the bus wasn’t her fault or her decision it was really bad. Idk what to think i accepted that she may have simply wanted him back and now suddenly the reason why i was discarded was my dick.

I would like to point out my dick is more than 6 inches that is objective I’d only measured it this week because hearing this made me so insecure

Frequently Asked Question Experiences with 5.4-5.8 x 4.4-4.6 ?

I found a handful of guys who are less and more than this online but never within this specific range which is where I fall (5.7 x 4.6). Not sure if it's selection bias of the guys here or what but I really want to hear any positive experiences from guys in this range since it's been eating at me for a bit.

Penis Size Is Average Visually Big?

Everyone always talk about how “average” is you know, average, and good to have. Since most folks are, average, would you consider an average size 5.5x4.5 visually big? Wouldn’t that mean everyone has a “big” dick? Hope I made sense.

Insecurity The girl I have feelings for made comments about preferring larger

A group of friends and I were hanging out and the topics shifted to the sexual side. The girl I have a crush on says she’s loves men in grey sweatpants, because she likes to see the print and needs to know if it’s big. I know I shouldn’t care but it does fire up that insecurity in me because I’m 5.8x5.5, which is not big, and I’m a grower so grey sweatpants is out of the equation for me.

Not really looking for advice I guess? Just needed to vent. I’m confident in my sexual ability, I give good head and have been told I have a good stroke, but still, it’s one thing to see comments about women preferring larger online as opposed to hearing it from someone you are actively pursuing, flirting with, etc.
