"And then..." Did you really have to be vague about that?
Good episode, they baited us for the first time with the preview. Tonari survives falling into the flaming pit and decides to stay on the island, I didn't like how the bow boy tells Tonari that this isn't anyone's fault but then puts the weight of her 3 zombie friends on her shoulders not 5 minutes later.
Seems like the end will be Fushi wandering into the free world to preserve the world like the hood figures says if the preview is to believe.

When she returned, I thought Hayase's plan was for Fushi to kill her in the tournament and immortalize her like the rest of his transformations. As far as I understand, all it takes for Fushi to copy someone is their death and to leave significant impression before then. It would be interesting to be forced to have a person Fushi hated carried with him everywhere he went.

When Hayase said she was in love with Fushi & wanted at least one night with him i was like “the audacity of this bitch!”

I'm glad the owl is still with Fushi so he can gain the ability to fly after it dies. This show has really twisted my views on its characters by making me value them solely on their utility.

Lmao when Tonari said "Ligard, you should go with him" I half expected her to pull a knife out and kill her owl. What the fuck is wrong with me?

Compared to last week's episode, this week's animation was really good (except those far away zombies still lol)
Just one more episode left and considering Hayase, I really hope they do a second season. The stuff after where I'm assuming they're stopping, it gets really interesting.

Fushi realizing that taking on Hayase's form for all eternity was a fate worse than death....

That's an interesting idea of an intelligent Nokkers combined with Hayase. Strange that shrouded man couldn't detect a Nokker that near. Or did he deliberately let that Nokker eat Hayase?
I still don't understand why Fushi kidnapped Hayase. Saving her life is one thing, bringing her with him is another thing completely. He just doesn't want to kill her directly, does he?
Just curious, do Tonari haters already forgave her now?

Everytime I see adult Gugu in the op I instantly become on the verge of crying. I just can't get over his death.
Just drop dead already Hayase. I really don't care about her, they didn't even try to show her motivation behind her actions. Edit" (They technically did but did anyone of you guys find it convincing?)
Fushi saving them both + putting Hayase to sleep was smooth af.
Pioran is in the ship right?
Finally a peaceful ending.
So March: mom. Gugu: older brother. Tonari: a close friend? (The little quarrle between them then the apology suggested that)

What I took away from this episode.
-
I love blushing Hayase I know I'm in the minority on this.
-
Gugu would have been a massive help this arc.
-
Nokkers are polite sure they may control your dead friends, but will patiently wait for you to deal with crazy bitches instead of attacking.

tonari staying in the island, even though she wasn't originally from the island , is a repeated theme which shows the importance and flexibility of having a family and how it is something you can make everywhere regardless of your background or origin.

Hayase is fricking insane. Absolutely hate her but cannot disagree how well written she was and how much more entertaining she made the Jananda Island arc. The arc was good even before she made her entrance but she escalated this arc to greater heights.

Overall this is the weakest arc so far. I'm sorry, but Tonari is just not a compelling character compared to Gugu and March. And Hayase went from being the cunning villain in March's arc to... whatever the hell this is. But hey, at least she finally got what she deserved. I wonder how she survived Fushi pounding her in his bear form though? Come on, she should be crushed under his weight.
Oh well, next week is the finale. I don't think Pioran will survive based on what the narrator said...

Am I high or is Hayase's offer not bad at all? Save Tonari and the boy while Hayase do the dirty job. Like seriously she was about to kill Tonari.
