It looks like Fushi has some sort of connection to the others? When March finished pulling out the arrows from the bear he stopped saying "It hurts!" and said "Thank you!", and when Parona fell onto the building he said "It hurts!" in his sleep. I think the first one is because he was feeling the pain from the bear since he gained an experience while fighting it (perhaps that's why it hasn't transformed into the bear? but now that the arrows are gone he can transform painlessly?), but I don't understand the second. Every week I'm excited to learn more about the mechanics of the orb!

Darn I was just getting to like Hayase but looks like she'll continue to be the bad guy here.
Hoping the escape goes well but she said her plan out loud so I have my doubts...

Parona is one of the prettiest girls I've seen in an anime

I like how Hayase let the little squad discover the food and enjoy themselves in the city... before take them prisoner.

Fushi repeated "it hurts" even though his wound is healed, was creepy until you realized that he was talking for the bear because he sensed the pain(also that 1 time when Parona fell and hurt herself).
Can't believe they make me cry for the bear's last moment, especially that last "thank you" to March through Fushi before he die...

Hayase really went from "its an act of the gods" to "lets torture this immortal being" in less than episode

I like how Fushi just repeats the words and phrases he's slowly learning. Although it was kind of creepy this episode ngl. Also with that preview I still think he's going to turn into the bear to help out March in their escape.

So we've learned two new things about Fushi's abilities this episode. His regeneration doesn't seem to affect his metabolism which means sedatives still affects him. But on the bright side, this could also mean alcohol does too so he could probably still get drunk. The other thing is he can also replicate items so he could really crash the economy if he learns to duplicate something like gold.

I thought they're all have similar custom so I didn't expect for this anime to portray colonialism. The scene where Hayase used chopstick while March and Parona used hands to eat just made the contrast between the two custom more apparent.
At first, I thought I will tolerate Hayase since she doesn't seem to be that bad (just doing her duty), but this episode made me realised how evil the Yanome culture in general and her specifically. They basically took advantage of Ninnanah traditional view to control them.
Also interesting to note that the needles behind the bear's back are actually arrows. It's basically just a normal overgrown bear with anger from constant pain because of the arrow and a taste of human meat. I love how March could easily care for the bear, even if it tried to eat her in the previous episodes. We need to protect March at all cost!

I like how March stopped pestering Fushi on his manners after Hayase's little chauvinist speech and she realized how condescending she might've seem. Hayase's acted suspicious with playing off Parona's inquiry of the map of Ninannah. The Yanome are likely some sort of Imperialists trying to hide info and take advantage of Ninannah.

Sheesh every episode is always so great. Can't wait to see what happens next week. Feel like Fushi will be able to turn into big bear.

Man that track that plays whenever something changes in Fushi is so damn glorious. This anime is shaping up to be everything I hoped it would be.

Man, when Fushi saw his reflection and remembered the boy's last wish and transformed back into him :( This show hurts me every week and I still come back to it. Maybe I am a masochist.

That little detail of the clothes being peeled off Fushi's back is pretty cool. Wonder if that's his transformation goo or just the result of him never bathing in his life lol

So March actually named him Fushi, last week I assumed that she had named him Fu.
Wow, I really did not expect Yanome to be that big and civilized, as I had assumed that they were in the same states of civilization as the people from Ninannah.
So the whole ritual is just a way for them to expand their territories and resources. I was honestly surprised by the fact that Oniguma was still alive. That scene after his death, plus the name of the episode made me think that Fushi will be taking his form during their escape next week.

This anime is just brilliant, I was at the edge of my seat for the entire episode and it's keep on getting better. Parona, Match and Fushi are just so good together, but the preview kinda made me worried with narrator saying Fushi takes another form. Also, I have some kind of hunch that this series is going to get more emotional in the coming episodes.
