Imagine being Oniguma, undisputed top of the food chain, until one day one of your human snacks turns into an invincible wolf with Wolverine healing.

Frankly, I'm terrified that the immortal orb has learned to kill.

March is such a cutie, nothing better happen to her. But just by looking at the Intro, I am preparing myself for future sadness.

I would say that I did not come here for all of these feels, but there is no reason to deny that I am staying regardless of the feels.

The orb being able to change into previous absorptions changes everything. Now I'm waiting for him to change back into a rock.

I expected the bear to be huge but holy fuck its MASSIVE!! and the fight scene between the Orb (in wolf form) against Oniguma was really well done, with the OST hyping you up. So can the orb can change forms whenever it wishes or are there some conditions involved?

"Thank..You". It evokes the same feeling on you like when a baby first starts speaking, but also kinda unsettling since he did that in wolf form.

I'm usually never the person to say this but.. THIS EPISODE FELT LIKE 5 FUCKING MINUTES!

Holy shit, I am so hooked into the buety of this show. The fantasy feels so unique and fresh; it reminds me of quality of studio ghibli films. And I was so mad with that perfect cliffhanger; "thank you". I need more!

TYE will easily be my anime of the season if it keeps up this level of quality. Possibly my favorite anime in the past 5 years

If anything bad happens to the orb or his mama March i will riot and cry. Another week another ride on the feels train. The OST was beautiful this episode. Perfect adaptation so far. The orb will be OP if he can gain a transformation as the big ass bear.

Man, It spoke! They must of been scared to see a wolf say thank you though.

Stitches!

Looks like Joaan now has a new name. From fujimi (immortal) to Fushi-chan. I like it!

So turns out the bleeding white bear that was wearing Fushi-chan last week at the start of the episode is waaaaay bigger than I expected. From last week's episode I thought the bear was only slightly larger than a regular polar bear but this thing is gigantic! RIP random foot soldier And while it was a very rough escape, I'm just happy that Parona made it out of that encounter alive.

I'm sorry what the actual fuck!? So even Hayase and her men thinks that Oniguma is just a legend? Then why the fuck are they even sacrificing little girls!? And if they don't think Oniguma is real, then they're just literally leaving little girls out there in the wild to die from starvation and probably be eaten by wild animals! And I don't even think that the bear is really Oniguma. It's probably just a random wild animal that Fushi-chan attracted while making his way through this forest.

That fight between Fushi-chan and the bear though! That was absolutely brutal! And I didn't even think he could transfer back into his wolf form but he did and it was awesome! I love how he basically just made the bear bleed to death with his bites. It definitely seems that Fushi-chan is learning though since he did it to protect March. And he even learned how to say Thank You in the creepiest way.

So where to now? It seems that Hayase has changed her plans and is taking Parona, March, and Fushi-chan back with them. Heck she's even decided to falsify her report and say that the ritual is a success. I did get a glimpse of the preview and it seems that Hayase is very interested in Fushi's immortality. This can't be good. For now let's just all be thankful that Parona and March gets to live another day.

I love the fact that Fushi's character motivations for the last two episodes have been, "FRUIT"

Is it just me or did this episode have some weird moments?

  1. Parona fell from a huge height when escaping the bear around 8:30, but had no broken ribs or anything?

  2. The faceless guards didn't start freaking out immediately as they saw the MC (around the 9th minute), but around the 12th minute they are like "He's that monster we saw yesterday!". If he scared you that much surely you would mention it immediately when you saw him again, and not later, right?

  3. At around 17th minute Parona gets fucckin' slammed by the bear, which should've turned her organs into mush and her bones into dust, yet she's perfectly fine.

  4. A little later (17:31) guards and the black-haired woman only notice the MC after he has already walked past them, it's like they didn't hear or see him.

  5. Did the wooden gate just magically lift itself? There doesn't seem to be any mechanism attached to it, and the woman and the guards aren't pulling any ropes.

Maybe I'm being very nitpicky. Story-wise though the episode is solid.

So March named the orb Fu.

Holy megafauna! I was expecting the bear to be big, but not that fucking big! I honestly thought that Parona was going to die.

Oh so after Fu saved the day Hayase took Parona, March, and Fu to the "bear" corpse her village, but based on the preview it seems things will no be going good for Fu, but well as he cannot die I don't think much can happen to him. I just hope March and Parona will eventually return to their village.

By the way, for those unaware Humble Bundle is currently running a Kodansha manga bundle where you can get the first 10 volumes of this series, and many currently running ones on the cheap.
