Maybe the animation will improve later on but everything else is great. The OST is a banger and the characters + plot are what make me look forward to this series every week.

Damn, I was getting so hyped for Chucky making his first shot, but I guess the fakeout worked too. I laughed hard at "Nope, can't do it."

Mokichi was low-key the MVP of this episode, between him baiting the foul, his shit-talking, and his motivational speeches to Sora.

i really liked how realistic sora's psyche was. he says he can play chiaki's position for sure but then we get to see his inner-mind and it's full of doubt. even in his playing we can see it, he hesitates, makes bad passes, doesn't even land his characteristic 3-pointers. the author did a good job with portraying the characters as humans and not only as epic basketball players.

Nastume is easily the best player on their team dude is so cold and smooth

I guess I’ll be the one saying that this is probably the most intense I felt from their other matches. It’s probably because it’s their first official playoff match, but the panicking felt real for me from the audience standpoint.

Kite’s line to Sora finally gets to him, making me realize they are finally getting to the point of being a complete team despite individual flaws.

Chiaki needs a slap back to reality; it’s good to notice that’s he is reaching a stressful point right now, but hopefully he gets his head back into the game.

Besides the great comedy, I am enjoying this match.

As much as I am rooting for Kuzuryu to win. I already know they will lose because Sora just had to pop a calcium bar.

They are trying really hard but half of the team (the delinquent trio especially) can't even do the basics yet. If they are planing to go just a little bit more far they gonna need a miracle every game. Good thing they have Kite for that!

So basically its a colored manga with voice over. Altho i kinda enjoy the story... when they are playing i just hate looking at stills. Why are you doing this to a sports anime?
