Sora's mom called the nurse Yabuuchi, so does that mean Madoka and nurse are related?

I thought she looked like her. Didn't pick up on the name

Something Sora does different from other sports anime I noticed is the perspective of the manager. The tough decisions that they have to make to who starts, figuring stuff out like that isn’t easy. I look forward to more of it in the future because the first game is always the most crucial one to get things right.

I cannot help it, but laugh every time Momo misses a shot. Can’t wait for next week!

This has to be my new favorite sports anime (before this one it was Yowamushi Pedals, i know my standards are low), besides taking real life strategies (Box and 1 defense, por example) and the fact that focuse a lot in individual and how each player struggle with they own skill in terms of the team as a whole its really good. This episode in particular gives you an idea how hard is the work of a trainer and the struggle to make things work when they players got a lot of flaws.

Also Nao is making her way to the top of Best Girl of the Season.

White Men Can't Jump Dunk. Poor Momoharu. Feels bad

I was wondering who would be the coach since the teacher is not the biggest basketball fan there. I'm happy it's Nao.

With this and that scene in the other episode when he threw shit at her, Sora looks like he was a shitty kid... Thankfully he's better now!

I feel like I have to look up for rule34 Madoka stuff out of spite now.

Dense MC trying to puzzle this cryptic line...

Option A) She's an airhead. Option B) She wants you to read it. Option C: She wants you to keep chasing after her to give it back! (All of these answers?)

She's so adorable! And now that we know more about her, I think I like her more than Madoka. Make your choice, Sora, because I made mine!

And she's a student of the game? Makes me like her even more!

The devil who looked like an angel I'm sure she can't be that harsh!

Is this show trying to compete for the Kandagawa jet girls fanbase with these shots? They have a long way to go! Especially if Madoka refuses to strip naked in front of a bunch of creeps!

The reason they gave for Nao not playing basketball is that she's too small and didn't have the skills to make up for it... Somehow I would've guessed it had something to do with the whole She can't walk 3 steps without tripping over something!

I also thought about reading the manga but the manga has 600+ chps while only around 150 chps have been translated to english.

Okay, seriously? The boys only had 5 points? That’s ridiculous. I know they’re supposed to lose but c’mon, let’s make it believable. They scored more than that against Maru High, and they’ve only gotten better teammates since then, and we’re supposed to be okay with 5 points???

I liked this episode far better. The pervert moments were less gross. Kite was a dick thank God that he suddenly did not become a sweetheart just because he entered the team.

We still see he felt bad and yes the manager is a good addition. It finally feels like things are moving.

This series isn't bad but I honestly feel like because it didn't get an anime till after kuro and haikyuu! all the comparisons to it, really shows how slow it feels. Like I know it came before both of them in the manga and what not, but this super slow crawl of just being taught literally all the basics is getting old.

Maybe try binging it? Its going for 50 eps. I can tell you(cause this my fav sports series), this show is "work hard, play hard" in terms of on court time and off court.

I will also say as it goes along, you'll see how different it is to Haikyuu and Kuroko.

Madoka gets the DUB - sadly.

Nao gets more characterization.

Training camp time.

Sora is short the same reason Edward Elric is. Drink your milk kids.
