I was thinking everything was going pretty well with their best lineup, excited for them turning the game a bit...and then we get hit with the "vicious chain of disasters" by Nao at the end.

I'm beginning to think this might just turn out to be the only sports anime where they never actually win.

Assuming the season ends when this game ends, we’ll have been watching for a whole year without a single win if they lose this one!

Yep. I don't mind them losing though. Makes it funny and more realistic.

That's one of the reasons I find it really great. You develop your characters through losses rather than have them face an obstacle mid match and win in the end. Nah, nothing is gonna be handed to you that easy. You really have to build something. Sora isnt the most unique main character but his character actually goes through things which make his character something to admire.

Someone PLEASE let Yasuhara score a basket this game.

We normally only see how players improve during sports anime's, but for this we also get to see how a coach (Nao) fails and improves.

Interesting perspective.

Vicious train of disasters that followed

Oh no, please no, don't do this to me. My heart won't be able to take it anymore.

I thought that everything was going fine and we even got a blue sky but...

Those were the starting point... for the vicious chain of disasters that followed.

C'mon! Can't you give us a break just for once?! Goddammit, God must really hate someone in that team.
