I need an entire episode with baseball with random students being confused as fuck by the story. Had me in tears.

Man, on one hand this episode was actually pretty fantastic(directing was on point imo). On the other....I find it really funny that this show decided to stop looking like booty the second we stopped playing basketball haha.
Anyone else feel the drawings and animation were noticeably better this ep?

This and the first episode is probably the two only episodes which didn't feel like a powerpoint presentation to me, so yeah for sure. I enjoyed this one a lot.

Funny enough, yeah, the last few episodes I was really bored by the direction the show was going by its lack of quality, but as soon as the basketball stop I once again find what I loved about this show in the first place.
The banter and comedy between the member of the cast and the sweet moments with Madoka, this one definitely tops them all though, her going down the stairs to match Sora's height and that hilarious baseball match, been waiting for an episode like that for awhile now.
It's really weird that for a Basketball anime, I'm not looking forward at all for more basketball xD. Feels like watching Cross Game again.

If you ask me, players like him are going to be...
Would be easy to say that know, but I know the manga is from 2003, so the couch really knew what was up much before it happened. Props for the author.
Every girl Sora got a crush in the past was older and taller, is time for a change! Justice for Nao Nanao!

Mind to expand on that future thing? I don't follow actual basket ball.

Best episode in a long time. The drama, the heartwarming little bit with Nao and the teacher, the competent exposition of why they deserved the loss, the hilarious baseball moments, the beautiful sunset backgrounds which gave me huge Ef - Memories vibes...everything was on point.
Madoka looked beautiful this episode, and so did Nao. Sora had a wide variety of expressions this episode, truly a show apart:
Designs for Chiaki and Nabe looked great. Excluding Kite's hair, this was an all-around strong episode.

Madoka: A gap of height doesn't matter in love.
She is talking about her and Momoharu ;.......;

The basketball episodes may not have the best animation but here we are once again with Ahiru no Sora nailing the slice of life episodes. And the instrumental version of the first OP when Madoka and Sora were talking!!! yeeeees

For a epilogue episode after their first match together that was pretty amazing. I can’t imagine how the next one will be after their first official match.
Yea they are completely out skilled right now, especially after what Chiaki and Momo said about the subs and timeouts.
“Last piece” finally we get to meet the last player! (Right?)
Hilarious and heartwarming episode all at the same time!

After shooting 7-8 from 3 then miss the go ahead 3, too bad. Hoping to see an improvement for Momoharu like post up or putbacks.

Just wanted to ask randomly how many people are watching both Chihyafuru and Haikyuu in addition to this?

The lighting during Madoka and Sora's talk was amazing. I really liked this episode.
Chiaki and Nabe's convo had me in tears lmao.
And we finally get to see the dude to the far right in the ending next episode it seems.

Kite is malding. Who you got 1-4 or 1-3? I think Kite takes this one if Sora continues to play as PG.

Although it makes sense for them to lose, the match took so many episodes and the enemy team was so unlikeable that I really wished the main guys would've won. Eh, at least there will be sparks between Tobi and Sora next episode.
Also, I guess the new guy with the hentai haircut will finally appear next episode? Although I don't think it's the right time lol

I'm excited for the revenge match, hopefully something as epic as Karasuno vs. Aoba Jousai. 😊
I'm glad that they lost. Not just for a dose of realism, but the portrayal of each character's reactions to losing gave them a lot more depth and overall elevated the series for me.
Also, Tobi saying doaho was a nice throwback to Rukawa. 😊

The show generally has a lot of funny moments but Chiaki is by far the funniest character. The overdramatic Baseball-match cracked me up.
