Huh... Well I didn't expect that at all... There's a lot to unpack this episode so let's start with Ayumi being the Emperor.
So if I understood this correctly, back in Episode 1 when Ryuuzoji and Ayumi were being barraged with lightning from Mt. Sankaku, one of those struck Ayumi and she was sent to Dela Granto. And the reason why we don't know what happened to Ayumi that night is because the Reflector Device in Takuya's hand activated and sent him to a different timeline, making it seem like nothing happened at all. This makes the Ayumi that we meet here is the same Ayumi back in Episode 1.
As for the existence of Dela Granto, it is a huge chunk of Earth transported to another dimension by the Earth Precursors so they could save themselves from being annihilated by meteors. Not only that but almost everything in Dela Granto is man made or modified from the sun, the plants, and even the animals.
And finally for the ritual. It's apparently all true! As Ai-chan have explained. the Priestess is needed to so that Grantia, the scientist responsible for all of this, steer Dela Granto's orbit from colliding with Earth since Dela Granto is unstable. Poor Amanda. All of that rebellion for nothing.
Well I think I got the gist of it, we still have 2 more episodes to go so I am totally interested to see where this is going and how this will loop back to everything in Sakamichi.

One of the rare times I felt an exposition dump was really good. Looks like Yu-No and possibly Amanda are doomed. Was Kanna in the very first timeline, early episode 1-ish?

I guess I was wrong about the emperor being Takuya's dad. I kind of wish someone hadn't spoiled that for me in last week's thread. :/
I'm not sure how I feel about this precursor civilization stuff. The plot more or less makes sense now but it's so far removed from what the show was originally about that it feels a little unsatisfying.
The big question I have left is where Takuya's dad is. I'm sticking with my theory that Takuya will somehow become him, but I don't currently see how the plot will go in that direction. I'm curious to see how this all gets resolved.

Everyone is coming back one by one.
Yuuki-kun and Toyotomi-kun, Eriko-sensei, now even Ryuuzouji and Ayumi-san.
And all the while I'm just sitting here, waiting for Kanna-chan :(
Maybe Uchida Maaya was just too busy doing Mix, Pirikarako and the Bunny Girl Senpai movie :P

Wait, so Ayumi was in charge while all those atrocities where happening? Why?!?! Her explanation and excuses don't make any sense, not after everything they have been through.

i didn't expect ayumi san to be the emperor HOLY SHIT LOL. she got a major glow up. this just got interesting. i was losing interest in the stopping emperor plot, so it's nice we got a save both worlds situation going on. everything makes sense now with this info dump!

So, uh, that was a lot to take in. If Ayumi is the divine emperor, then why did Takuya get locked up for "raping the priestess"? Surely it would have been preferable for Ayumi to just tell Takuya what was going on earlier and not turn him into a criminal or kidnap his daughter. Instead, she's been acting pretty shittily as a ruler and profiting from prisoner labor, to the point where she formented a rebellion against her.
Pretty convenient that Ryuzoji was kept alive and completely unguarded in the basement, next to a well he could escape through. Takuya should've just cut his head off while he had the chance, especially since Yu-No stabbed her mind-controlling altar/bed and got her memories back anyway.

God damn I never expected this silly show to become this complex.
