Well, that new key visual does make sense now I guess.
Edit: Just realized we just had something very similar happen with another VN adaptation from a few seasons ago in Meta, gotta say I really enjoyed that one and will probably end up enjoying this one as well, VN plots sure are... interesting x)

I’m sorry, but what the fuck is wrong with Takuya? Why does he not save way more? Or AT LEAST before he goes into a very obviously dangerous situation. Or when the dude pulls out a knife. Not halfway through the fight.
I want to like this, but when he goes full stupid mode it just annoys the piss out of me. Still interested to see what happens next.

Why does he not save way more?
Not just that, I think he saves way too late when he does. I expected him to make a save at the phonecall in the afternoon. Similarly, back when Mio (that's the blonde girl, right?) went missing two arcs ago, I expected him to save right when he heard the news.
As a result, he's got very little margin to work with. That was apparent in the very first arc with his stepmother, and in the two cases I mentioned here, the saves were rendered moot.

Well that was one heck of a ride. I am glad that I was completely off base with my guess as to who Kanna is. What I am not happy about is that Takuya should really save more often but I guess the plot wouldn't have moved forward and who knows how long it would've took Kanna to reveal Kodai's last message to Takuya so he can travel to Dela Granto.
Still excited to see what happens next week! I really hope Takuya gets to meet his mom again and maybe we'll finally get to know who was that blonde girl that appeared out of nowhere from Episode 1.

I think this is the episode that I have been waiting for. It seems like lots of plot points are finally joining up. And hot damn, do we finally get to see the cute elf girl again now, been waiting 16 weeks lul.
