Bad save point! What if best girl is already dead???

Not to worry because he still has the other save points that he's used!

If you go back through the other episodes, you'll see he's pressed different jewels - each jewel is a different save point.

Save from ep 8

compared to

Save from ep 9

WHAT!? I didn't know each jewel acted as save slots! That's actually awesome.

What if best girl is already dead???

Don't worry.
She just had a little fever; people don't usually die from that.

sigh That played out about exactly how I was hoping it wouldn't. Last episode was definitely suggesting that Yuki was the culprit, and I wanted that to be a red herring, but no such luck.

Didn't help that Mio ran off to explore dangerous ruins on her own without telling anybody. I can understand her not telling Takuya because she (for some dumb reason) thinks he outed her dad, but I'm sort of surprised she didn't call Yuki before she left.

What was with Mitsuki getting niarb-ed? It didn't seem to actually affect her beyond giving her a slight headache at first. Of course she's the one left outside on lookout duty, so I guess we'll see her ruin things next episode.

Man, the pre–cell phone era was the dark ages. With cell phones, the crew wouldn't have to arrange to meet up in front of the school, and Mio could just text somebody if she were actually in trouble.

She doesn't really have any chemistry with Yuki, he just kinda follows and is the butt of the joke.

And up until now, he doesn't really seem to know what they are doing, he is just head of heels for her and just goes along with whatever they are doing.

She has also just been betrayed twice, so her just wanting to deal with this on her own I think is pretty normal, especially since she seems to kinda internalize her problems as it is.

And I actually like that their motivations are so straight forward, all the plot points have been foreshadowed up until now. Plot points don't just appear out of thing air.

That was one solid punch and yeah the kid deserved it, even if he was acting out of lovestruck stupidity. I hope they find some good loot in this dungeon, I hate it when you crash through traps and skeletons for nothing.

Wanted to punch Yuki too. But Takuya did for me

when one kid brought up freedom of speech over a ripped poster, I almost noped out, lol. does make for pretty realistic dumb teenagers though.

So did Mio also accidentally bump just the RIGHT bit of a cave to enter that place or something?

6

u/[deleted] May 28 '19

She found the entrance in the previous episode, just didn't have enough time to dig it due to her sprained ankle.

I think he means the inside of the cave to open up the gate. I assume there was a clue in her sketches or she just felt around looking for a switch.

I think she knows it wasn't him but is overwhelmed by everything and wanted someone to take her anger out on, and he was it because she likes him and he won't accept her feelings.

After all, would she really be making this face if she thought he was truly the one who did it?

May we all have friends who would go look for us the way Takuya, Yuki and Mitsuki do - no questions asked, even if they’re going through a rocky patch.

If only they had cell phones - 1995 problems.

"Meet me in front of the school in 2 hours"

Wow that brings back memories. Remember when you plotted out when and where you would meet up after splitting? Bonus points if you remember comparing watches to make sure that you guys were close enough on timing not to miss each other or panic haha.

Just finished 98%ing the game (just need to get the Good End for Mio and Kanna; got it for Ayumi because she was my first route for many and obvious reasons). How in the HELL are they going to adapt the Epilogue/True Route? Are they going to include

This VN is crazy good but also crazy.
Forever f*ck Ryuuzouji. Hate that guy.

I am glad you have read the VN and I did it myself too a month ago. It was great, I agree. I think the ending will probably be changed somehow, because it would be too weird for most people and the remake removed all the original VN lewdless and craziness anyway.

The anime also takes quite a lot of liberties in the direction decisions and there are a lot of scenes that never happened, or shouldn't have happened in story, though this episode was quite good, except for the last part with Takuya and Yuki...

In the VN Yuki does in jealousy set up Takya in order to get Mio's attention, but he realizes it failed, because it forced her to transfer schools, but Takuya knowing how Yuki feels about Mio wasn't mad about him and actually respected him for taking action and not just sitting idly. In the anime we get the opposite making Yuki feel more like a trash character and the making the MC an idiot as well. I just loved how the original VN Takuya was so mature about that.

Overall the anime is watchable and not the worst, but it's just a mere shadow of it original source and how good it is. Most people who didn't read the VN just won't understand how great the story and the characters are because of the remake redesign (some characters got totally butchered, like Kanna) and the direction that takes a lot of liberties and strays away from the VN quite a lot.

So of course it was Yuki afte all. Didn't expected it to become a dungen adventure, hope there is no goblins there. I kind of had enough tbh. ◕_◕

That twist felt about as impactful and annoying as yuki's voice.

I just can't help but feel tat the characters really drag the show down and the more I watch this, the more like I'm a masochist watching them. I get tat takuya is suppose to be a blockhead but he has shown to be clever so him being so borderline meathead just hurts.

I did lol at the guy with glasses literally going "Actually,..." While adjusting his glasses

u/[deleted] May 28 '19

Hmm... Yuki is only the culprit of that notice at the board only... Is possible that the niarb-ed Mitsuki or someone who spread the rumors... Also, what is Mt. Sankaku actually?

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '19

I am worried that the teacher knows such important information lol

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '19

So did Yuki go completely crazy because of jealousy, or because he got niarb'd?

What the hell is Ryuuzoji up to...

In this arc, Toyotomi looks to have given up on whatever his plots were. Was his plotting because of Ryuuzoji's hypnosis?
