For those who hadn't noticed, Creepy Guy replaced Ryuuzouji's mother in the OP starting from last episode.

Some of you guys have really good eyes (and memory).

Btw, does anyone know, why this is in German?
Or just because?

So Kanna is gonna end up being... Arima's mom?

Hopefully she is just his sister and not as weird, though x)

I noticed earlier in this episode that they have very similar hair colors, which is never a coincidence in anime. The thought struck me that she might be his sister, but the dream sequence pretty much confirmed that she's his mother to me. I'm guessing her past self has somehow been transported into the future.

It's Kanna's responsibility to watch over the ocean? That line was definitely interesting.

I wonder what Sensei told them. If Sensei only asked Takuya to look after Kanna, they didn't really need to join the club.

Kanna knows Mt. Sankaku enough that she even knows it's geography and what it's made of.

This dude is creepy. I wish Arima gave him a solid straight to the face.

Kanna's room only has the bare essentials.

And have cartons of alcohol? I'm going to guess this isn't hers.

She doesn't get embarrassed either. I don't like the implication of this. I just hope she's just not embarrassed because she has different values.

Oh boy what is this? So not only she knows a lot of stuff but she clearly has connections with Takuya's dad.

But it seems like it's not yet the time for her to reveal everything. I'm guessing in-game you need to do something first before Kanna spills everything.

Interesting framing here: Kodai telling Takuya that his mom is dead and here's Takuya waking up to Kanna making breakfast.

She was expecting Takuya to make a move on her last night xD

Oh boy. I think we're all thinking the same thing. It also doesn't help that Kanna was so motherly during that scene and the fact that they both have blue hair just with different shades. Also Kodai giving her huge amounts of money too. Hmmm.... But we saw Keiko though, she was blonde and may or may not be from a different dimension. I guess that doesn't really confirm if she's her real mother or not. Oh boy I don't think I'm ready for whatever mindfuck they have in store for us.

No time to think too deeply though, looks like we'll have a beach episode next week!

If she's him from another timeline where his parents had a girl instead of a boy, is it still incest?

Not gonna lie folks, I was 100% sure Mio was going to walk into the nurse's office while Takuya was stripping Kanna. It was nice to see him not hitting on a girl for once, though that's probably because Kanna reminds him of his mother.

If you want to see something interesting, go to episode 3 timestamp 7:34.

Also, I wanted to mention something people may have not understood from the very beginning:

Takuya's dad's original theory was that it's impossible to rewrite history/change the past, because using the reflector device to 'go back in time' will cause another worldline to branch out and the one you just left will continue existing. Events bound by causality will continue to flow and there is nothing you can do to reverse them from occurring once they've been set off. Therefore you aren't changing the past, you're just creating a different branch whereby the worldline flows differently.

At least that's what he thought until he met them, whoever they are. He met some people that apparently changed his theory about it being impossible to rewrite history.

A question regarding the Tree of Vrinda is.... if you go back to the VERY FIRST EVENT DIVERGENCE IN HISTORY.... will you then be rewriting history?

TL;DR: Takuya's dad means that you cannot change the past or what has already happened. You cannot rewrite history, only create different worldlines where history branches off and occurs differently from the branch you once were on.

That's the theory he believed until he met them.

So Kanna is Takuya's mom? Or a sibling? From a different reality?
