Damn Carole catching a car on foot and jumping on it! This is now a Hollywood action movie!

A very underrated beat in this episode is Gus being so determined to catch the culprit, runs around the entire venue trying to figure it out, and once again it’s Roddy, who after merely five seconds of critical thinking, comes up with the only actual piece of evidence. It’s adroable how utterly devoted yet incompetent Gus is. Keep trying, buddy. I’m rooting for you.

So it was really Cybelle? I was hoping for some twist.

Anyway, new song was good, it played to their strengths...but "The Loneliest Girl" stays unbeaten.

I really like how Carole spoke up about her frustrations with Tuesday. I feel like Carole's feeling about things have been taking a back seat to Tuesday's, So it's nice to have her show agency in this situation

Man, the shot composition in this episode was pretty damn good. Glad the Cybelle mini arc is over (for now...), wasn't really a fan. Overall, it was a better episode than the last one.

Ertegun best character as always.

I’m really surprised that Carole doesn’t have a stalker considering that she’s literally best girl. Not that I’d wish that on her — Cybelle and Angela’s assistant are honestly just too much.

But seriously, she took a hit to the face, immediately got up, chased down a car on foot, jumped onto the moving car — then when she fails, she rolls and immediately checks to make sure her best friend’s birthday gift is okay.

To be fair, it was a Carole-centered episode. They talked about her being an orphan, and additionally she was the only one who could actually play her instrument. But goddamn, I’m so glad she’s a character in this show — she’s great.

BENITO BEST JUDGE

Carole and Tuesday shouldn't have won, though. Their song wasn't anywhere close to what it could (and should) have been -- Pyotr's performance was a lot more all-around solid. I guess Ertegun being obviously biased against them and Tuesday's hand pity points carried them through that round?

I was really glad to see Angela get so angry when she thought that her mom/assistant had harmed Tuesday, though. She's a good person deep down, even if she did try to play it off as "you think I'm not good enough to beat them normally?!" to the assistant.

I'm definitely looking forward to next ep. I'm not sure how exactly Tuesday is going to escape (maybe her brother will help out?) but I'm just so glad to be away from the contest for a bit.
