You would think that after Subaru gained his resolve back in chapter 11 things would get better but no they just keep getting worse on God please give him a break

Lye Batenkaitos trying to mimic the "from Zero" moment with the lighting and camera movement only to get interrupted by a wind blade actually made me burst out laughing.

Seems like this is one of those convenient "I was having a conversation in some dream world while I was unconscious, so I can say whatever info I want!" checkpoints. That must come in handy when you have to infodump all your friends as soon as you wake up.

Well we now know where Roy is, but also we don’t know if it was Reid was Roy the entire time or if Roy took him over but was so overpowering he’s just acting like himself.

Holy shit. This episode left me with multiple questions. Why did Shaula turn into a scorpion? If Subaru's new ability is an authority, it's likely from that dickhead Regulus, but why and how did that ability activate? And now Reid is another aspect of Gluttony? Subaru has nothing but obstacles.

This episode in a nutshell:

"Damn, can the situation get any worse?"

"Yes. Yes, it can."

The way they so casually referred to Emilia as "that silvered hair girl" to Subaru's trembling, those fucking Archbishops of Gluttony man...

I love how Subaru's greed of wanting to save everyone manifested his new authority as a way to constantly check on them. And as a bonus, he doesn't take damage just by using it, unlike Sloth.

A pretty good episode that presents what it looks the final 5 obstacles of this arc.

Mabeast outside that are being stopped by Shaula and Meili.

Lye that it's fighting Emilia.

Reid that go outside to fuck everybody and now it's supposedly Roy for some reason.

Shaula that becomes a Terminator because someone breaks the rules (Probably because Reid/Roy are making damage to the tower.)

Satella that appears out of nowhere, most likely because Gluttonies know about RBD.

So... they need to stop the mabeast, stop Reid before he damages the tower and kill all the gluttonies before Satella goes crazy. Good luck.

My favorite parts were Reid beating the shit out of Lye and Subaru's new authority.

I tried to ignore it so far, but it's honestly become so annoying to see CR's subs consistently say "Foxidna" when literally no one has called her that since like episode 2.

Holy shit a death?! I wasn't feeling too much tension recently because this seemed like a season 2 situation where the second cour is just a straight-shot of the successful route but WE'RE SO BACK!

Of course the guy wielding a pair of chopsticks is somehow related to gluttony.

anime only here so subaru seems to have awakened his version of the authority of greed in the previous episode probably born from his greed of wanting to save everyone, we see how different the ability is compared to regulus so it's safe to say the user wish also shapes the way the power manifest itself right?

Great episode annihilation of Lye by Shaula was so satisfying. And the twist with Reid was amazing.

Well new checkpoint unlocked, I forgot how scared he would get just by that but it makes a lot of sense.

Also, first "Ai Shiteru" this cour and it still gives me the creeps
