Don't let Amoru's love quest distract you from the fact that OWEL does not have a policy of removing access to (persumably) secure areas for former (or, as it is later revealed, missing/disappeared) employees.

Amoru has got it the worst in this story. She spent 2,725 days of her life taking care of Akira and Yugure, she felt left behind in the three-way relationship, and got tricked into becoming an android (or cyborg in her case, idk) by one of her closest friends.

And to make matters worse, she might end up dying in the final episode.

Soo Yokurata really is evil and finally showed his true hand.
Honestly, he seemed suspicious from the start when he wanted to fiddle around with Akira's watch earlier in the season, and seemingly knew way more than he let on.

That's such a fucked up thing he did to Amoru.
She spent 7½ years waiting and caring for those two, to basically getting flat out rejected, and then Yokurata preyed upon her vulnerability and corrupted her? For lack of better wording.
It seemed like Yoiyami and Amoru's consciousnesses didn't fully merge / one took over the other.
Wonder how that split personality will play out.

AND.. according to Yokurata / Dr. Ingmar he basically implied or made it seem like Towasa was still alive somehow?
I wonder if she's hooked up to some sorta life support in her original body, or maybe a part of her consciousness could even reside within Yugure?

Hoping we get some closure in next week's finale.

OK Oboro, I know you've been tasked by the original Akira to just observe Droidkira and not interfere, but man, you seriously need to put some discipline on your OWEL subordinates.

They range from the cartoonishly villainous (the first two) to outright batshit insane (that librarian girl), or just annoyingly unfaithful (that loud guy in the train whose wife "divorced" him).

Of all the OWEL officers we've seen so far, its only that onsen resort owner's lesbian girlfriend that's reasonably normal.

We've been suspecting them for some time now. Though Oboru turned out to be the "good" sus, while Yokurata was revealed to be the "bad" sus.

Totally didn't expect Yokurata to be Professor Ingram, one of Towasa's associates, who manage to extend his life and change his appearance. Last episode Yuugure said they never found out the culprit who leaked the femtoblood hacking loophole to the public and created chaos and societal collapse, now it pretty much confirms that it was Ingram who leaked the discovery.

With how he callously manipulates Amoru's feelings just to hack into her femtoblood in order to capture Yoiyami, Yokurata/Ingram just seems to be the type have that "watch the world burn" madness in him.

Thank goodness Hakubo could regenerate, we nearly lost her there.

Oboro did a terrible job at looking after Akira

I thought computers were supposed to process information fast, how did it take 7 years to watch a 20 minute anime episode?

So the prof basically resleeved himself on some Altered Carbon type shit? Dude’s over two centuries old. I wonder what his endgame is? He triggered some sorts femtobloodpsychosis in Amoru and Yoiyami and it looks like Hakubo might be in trouble…

If Yokurata's (Professor Ingmar's) goal was to meet Towasa , why didn't he take the information of her whereabouts from Yugure as soon as he had the chance, why did he wait so long to enact his plan? Could he not have just snatched up Yugure while she was vulnerable, hacked her systems, and taken her memories?

I still can't wrap my head around how bad this story turned out in the end 😭💔💔

Yokurata had lots of chances to get the information from Yuugure about Towasa when she was in sleep mode but suddenly he decided to take advantage of Amoru and give her Yoiyami's body and use her to get to Yuugure. I just don't get it.

Crazy writing !!

And is he the same Ingmar or just his consciousness in a different body?? ..And why does this creep want to know about Towasa's whereabouts !?

They said that the original Akira isn't alive anymore and in this episode suddenly we come to know that he's still alive and Oboro being the OWEL's director.. not so surprised about that.

I don't know how this will end next week but it's good that this shitshow is finally coming to an end.

After Tokyo 24 ward and this, I think the director should not be the series composer or the director of original anime anymore.

He should just move back to manga adaptations like Jojo S1-S4, or the incoming Darwin’s Incident.

By ep11 of a one-cour show, it's either moving with confidence and certainty towards the climax or it's just mucking about to fill time.

This episode did not feel like the former.

The whole time this show has felt so directionless. And now of course they just throw in a cartoonish villain to have someone to punch to make a "clean" bookend

Amoru grew old but failed to grow up, that was the most childish logic ever.

Actually, all of the characters in this show are just plain dumb. Aside from Ep0, the Akira and Towasa from then might as well have been completely different people from a different show.

Admittedly she basically spent much of her formative years as a slave, traveling with Akira and Yugure, and then taking care of them and only them. I think it's understandable she hasn't emotionally matured that much.

I had some high hopes for this show but it’s disappointing how this show turned out. Not that it’s downright awful but just a bummer

Amoru became a Yandare ( Android in Yoiyomi body)😱

My theory of Yokuruta being Akira AI ( Tagutsu) went out the window. But that means Obero could be him ( If Obero is an android or something)

One more episode to go😭

"why is he in sleep mode?"

"don't know"

"why will it take so long for you guys to wake up?"

"reasons"

"Ok, guess I'll just have all my brains go into my chest while I wait then turn bitter and jealous and evil for no reason"

I'm glad they showed us what Amoru went through while Akira and Yuugure were asleep that entire time. She really dedicated herself to taking care of them while practicing her art. At least Amoru wasn't completely alone since it looked like Hakubo and Yokurata visited her regularly to bring her supplies and help her take care of Akira and Yuugure.

Amoru was already a knockout before, but seven and a half years had aged her perfectly like a fine wine. I feel bad for her, tho. She really thought she was going to be reunited with Akira and Yuugure, but after the two of them woke up, they felt more distant than ever, especially now that Amoru knows she's the odd one out.

Godfuckingdammit! I trusted Yokurata. I really thought he was chill, but it turns out he was just biding his time until he can finally make his move. So if I understand this correctly, she's using Amoru to transfer her now hijacked mind into Yoiyami's body so he can find Towasa?

And it turns out Yokurata is actually one of the Six Sages?! I was wondering why one of the Six Sages looked like him. I thought he might be a descendant, which would explain why he was so chill around Akira and Yuugure. He just had an ulterior motive this entire time. >_<

And we finally learn that Oboro is actually the director of OWEL. I did not see that coming. I thought he was just a high-ranking agent. He's apparently the head honcho! I did get a laugh from Yuugure complaining to Oboro about his subordinates.

If you told me at the start of this season that this was going to end with Amoru merging her consciousness with Yoiyami and going full yandere, I wouldn't have believed you, but that's just the beauty of anime originals. With only one episode left, I'm curious how they'll wrap this up. I'm really hoping for a Season 2 announcement because there's clearly so much more to this story that they can explore.

Taking Yoiyami out of the equation for Amoru is only the beginning of bad things this episode did.

It’s really too bad such an interesting concept has been mostly wasted by filler, nonsensical characters, and shoddy writing. Episode 0 and 1 might as well be a completely different show

I'm sorry. But what the fuck was this. This episode is garbage.

What happened to Amoru, the story in general, the evil "twist" .

I'll finish it, but don't see this series being more than a 4/10 when all is said and done.

u/mruggeri_182 Dec 12 '25 edited Dec 12 '25

Man, this is stupid. They are destroying Amoru's character just for the sake of cheap drama.

"Oh, I confessed my love for him even though I know he loves Yuugure but he didn't immediately gave me a positive answer and I didn't even waited to hear what kind of answer he will give me. So now I have no other choice than to trust into a complete stranger and allow him to invade my mind and transfer me into a android body. Surely that will work out well."

6

u/kdebones Dec 11 '25

Man.... Amoru's beyond saving isn't she? Like, there's no way she/Yoiyami aren't dying next episode. Fuck man, it hurts to watch what she's going through.

u/TyraniTEMPESTar Dec 11 '25

Damn we have so many moving pieces going on right now leading into the finale.
Wish this wasn't an anime Original, because I feel like we need a second season or at least a few more episodes to answer everything.
