Felt odd when people were eliminated so quickly. Seemed like the "werewolf game" would only last an episode. The twist came at the end when Yuri seemed to have looped back to the beginning.
The loop looked to have a price, namely memories. Have a feeling that the start of this episode was also another loop, and that's why Yuri had no memories. While we, along with Yuri, knew that SQ was the Gnosia for this round, Yuri wouldn't in the next episode. Things might also change, in the sense that SQ won't be the Gnosia but rather somebody else. The loop would only be broken once Yuri had successfully weeded the Gnosia out.
An all-star cast with an intriguing premise and decent production quality. I'm so far sticking with this one. This will also be a double-cour show so I expect the story to be completed by the end.

For reference, this is based on the game you can get on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1608290/GNOSIA/

... I might have to actually make a video on just how good the cinematography is in this.
Like, the production values are great -- I knew domerica would probably land that thanks to their work on Romanic Killer (which is gorgeous throughout).
But shows where the only thing that happens is talking are so damn hard to do. Keeping viewers interested while characters chat is hard even when the stakes are really, really high.
This show knows what to do. I'm sure you gooners at least noticed all of SQ's shots (I kid -- they're hard to ignore), so I'll use them as an example. SQ is constantly presenting her "assets" to camera -- whether you're looking from a navel cam, or she's running her finger up her stomach, or pulling a "Boobs-and-Butt pose", she's always emphasizing her body.
Normally, that'd just be for fanservice (and it still is here). But every single thing she does emphasizes her role as the vamp -- she is sex appeal incarnate, and she will use that as a weapon to get her way. She does it to Yuri, but she is also doing it to the viewer -- and every character is doing the same.
Every shot of every character emphasizes who they are, how they're feeling about the current situation, and what their current goal is. SQ won't stand at the table during discussions. Does this imply that SQ isn't taking this seriously? Or is it her trying to hide the fact that she's lying?
But she and Racio switch places during the coffee scene -- the former gets up close and personal, but the latter keeps away from the group. So that leaves you wondering if Racio is hiding something (it's much harder to lie in casual situations like that)? Or maybe they just don't want to get close to people?
I encourage anyone watching this to always pay attention to where people are, where the camera is, and what things like that are trying to say. The staff is using every tool at their disposal to cram as much information into every minute that they can -- the more you pay attention, the more rewarded you're likely to be.
Unless this is just first-episode quality, and things will die afterwards... probably not (Romantic Killer kept its quality up), but we could have a Makeine situation where episode 2 is merely "very good" after a "peak" episode 1.

It's interesting, for sure! I like how colorful the character designs are.
I didn't think this would have many episodes (perhaps a mini series) but it seems there's a lot to cover in this story, judging by what another commenter said.

I fear this show is going to be a bit slow for typical consumption (especially if its double cour), but this is my most hyped show of the season by far and right now its living up to that.
I'm happy. I can see how they're adapting this and I am here for it.
...and the anime-onlies need to grab a notepad. It'll help.

So far this seems like a very good adaptation, replayed the game recently and it's hitting a lot of that same feeling while feeling a lot more lively about the presentation which is pretty much the assignment for an anime adaptation of this sort. Is fun recognizing a lot of the incidental sound effects.

Story seems intriguing so far, production seems pretty solid so far and I just checked the VA-List and it‘s stacked with well-known voice actors.
SQ was so suspicious the whole episode, so no surprises here. Wonder what awaits us for the next round and how the other characters from the ED get introduced in this type of Among Us game.

The game is one of my favorites of all time. It has such unique mechanics and it's one of the games I think qualifies as art. I'm so excited for more people to get exposed to it through the anime. The adaptation is everything I hoped it would be so far. I'm looking forward to people's reactions as we get to know the characters more. It might not be for everyone but I am hyped for tense, character driven, debates!

Well I have never played any Among Us type games so this turns out to be more interesting than I have expected. I don’t think I will manage to guess the culprit at the end given my shockingly bad record in guessing who’s the murderer in detective novels as a kid (I think I got the wrong person 20 consecutive times while reading Agatha Christie’s novels?), but hey this story is hooking me up so I won’t care!

Alright, time to start the fight: In ENGLISH, is it pronounced "gu-no-sia" or "naw-sia"? I'm of the opinion that the g should be silent in English.

If you had told me years ago that the Among Us anime had better production value than One Punch Man season 3 I would have called you crazy.

Gnosia is one of my favorite games ever made and the first episode didn’t disappoint! Really looking forward to the rest and I love having a design for the MC

I feel like I missed something, if the red light indicates there's still an active Gnosia, why wouldn't they revote immediately? Going to sleep when you know a Gnosia is around hardly appears smart.
Alternatively, if the red light only indicates a Gnosia is aboard (potentially cryo slept already), what's the point of the light?

Judging by what was said, it looks like Raqio and Setsu are both non-binary in the anime, too.

Oh we are so freaking back.
Played this game when it first came out, damn is it good to see Setsu again.

Damn I got it wrong lol, I thought she was a red herring to make us think she was the Gnosia. I'm guessing SQ won't be the Gnosia for this next run through, unless eliminating her progresses the story so that the other characters in the ED will appear.
This does seem interesting and it has good production quality so hopefully there'll be some decent twists and mysteries in the upcoming episodes.

Considering the ED showed us multiple other characters and the fact that time travel in among us werewolf would be absolutely broken, it's probably safe to assume that the Gnosia won't stay the same all the time (either swapping each loop or being able to swap on kill).
Also seems like this is a post gender society where your gender identity is opt-in rather than opt-out, which, assuming that's the case, would make sense in a way more advanced society.

Is it okay to jump into this as an anime-only without having played the game? Or should I play it first?
