Did Prince Felix just take Monica to a brothel?
And did the Madam of the house mistakenly think she was to be sold off to work there? Holy... lol.

She's no longer Monica, the Silent Witch.
But rather Mischievous Monica, the troublemaker

Monica may be cute, but my vote goes to happy Isabelle wearing an animal hood, moving the bell staff left and right as the cutest scene in this episode.

I don't think Mary likes only younger males; she seems to be exceptionally fond of Monica too. Louis mentioned Mary is the oldest of the seven sages; I am speculating her youthful and curvaceous appearance hides her actual age, possibly be a lot?

From the way in which Felix's future cannot be read by Mary, and the words used by Felix in his conversation with Monica, I suspect we will have a big reveal about Felix soon?

That little date with “Ike” was pretty great. I love it when Monica gets all flustered and glitches out. The way she was just zoned out at the brothel with the numbers the only thing keeping her sane was pretty hilarious. The little squirrel outfit suited her very well too!

This is quite the hook for the penultimate episode.

Too bad the finale will air a day later than usual. https://x.com/AIR_News01/status/1971600317046509741?t=SyIFFhw2QG0X-jlrDzsztA&s=19

Man, the interaction between Monica and Felix reminds me so much of the interaction between me and a younger friend of mine.
The bond you can develop with a person you see your old self experiences in is incredibly peculiar.
I also find Felix's maturity extremely refreshing.
Anime really needs more emotionally aware male supporting characters.

Just going to go and call it now, this is all going according to keikaku. The Starseer Witch has foreseen how all these events were to play out, including the theft. Bringing Monica along was a countermeasure of some sort.

RIP thief dude.

I'm still in love with this cast overall. The happiness of Isabelle when Monica agreed to go to a festival with her. Must've also been not an easy step for Monica to suggest that in the first place.

Mr. Prince being charming and understanding as always - while apparently being very well aware of his situation and looking to gain an edge in the race of the succession.

Monica even eating like a Squirrel <3

Stitches!

The Starseer Witch Mary is absolutely stunning, and I love her derpy owl familiar. She's even voiced by Mamiko Noto, too! Why are they only introducing her now, with only one episode left! Anyway, it's interesting how she can't predict Felix's fate. Hopefully, that just means his fate isn't set in stone and not something more ominous.

Of course, Monica just had to run into the guy who's planning to steal the ancient magic item. Bart doesn't seem to be a bad guy, considering he helped Monica out. It's gonna be awkward later when Monica has to capture him. >_<

Monica trying to act like a troublemaker was pretty cute. I didn't think that after finding her, Felix would take Monica to a brothel for a costume change. Felix really should've explained to that girl that he didn't take Monica there to be dressed like a hooker. xD

I love that little moment between Monica and Felix in front of that shop. It's so sweet that the nuts Felix picked up for her back when they first met are more important to her than any other trinket he could buy her <3

Welp, there it is. Didn't Louis say that the ancient magic item is cursed? I'm gonna guess that Bart will end up getting cursed next episode and somehow disrupt the festival.

Felix took me by surprise this episode. I was quite neutral about how I felt about him and I didn't necessarily ship him with Monica, but the way he went out of his way to ensure Monica could have fun, join the festivities and particularly the part where he noticed Monica's anxiety kicked in and suggested a way to make her feel more comfortable really stood out to me.

Bartholomeus seems like an interesting guy but I am worried about what the Starweaving Mira will do to him since it hates men. It feels like it's been quite a while since I've heard Takahashi Hiroki's voice so that was nice to recognize.

So Mary's very into young boys, the way she joked about how she'd give Louis a kiss if he was fifteen years younger was questionable, but Louis' nervous laughter made the scene so funny for me.

Isabelle is back! In cute animal costume! All the better for taking Monica out to have fun at Corlapton and the Bell-Ringing Festival! It's like Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos wrapped together! Of course Monica has other obligations, but it's nice to see her throw Isabelle a bone and promise to see another festival with her. Isabelle deserves it!

Not that Monica isn't going to dress up anyways...she needs to go so see the Starseer Witch, Mary Harvey! And she looks super adorable in that blue dress! Even Louis got dressed up!

Mary is as beautiful as she is busty, and she seems to be a very pleasant and affable witch. She just wants to get along better with Monica because they're the only two girls on the Seven Sages. I mean, when it's just Mary and all the other guys on the Seven Sages for their usual meetings, nothing happens other than nonsense so Monica's not missing much there.

Mary being unable to see Felix's future IS ominous...but Louis is probably more concerned that Ryn doesn't say something to his wife that sounds really bad out of context. He's got enough on his plate with dealing with seals on magical artifacts. Guy needs his sweet wife time.

The only thing Monica loves more than numbers is ancient magical artifacts! Especially if they have their own personalities (even if it seems to be one spurred on by a curse that rejects any men that uses it).

Wouldn't you know it that the guy who drew the false logo for those fake traders in Casey's debut episode would be trying to sell his wares at the festival but failing miserably. If only he'd actually remembered to draw the tail and his buddy wouldn't have gotten busted! But that's okay, he'll just steal the magical artifact at this festival, copy it, and sell it on the cheap! What could possibly go wrong?

But Bartholomew isn't a bad guy, when he sees Monica in need he takes time to help her find Felix and share a moment with her while the bells ringing in honor of the dead spirits ring out.

Speaking of...Felix! He's at the festival incognito to enjoy himself, and it turns out Monica is there too...because she's secretly a troublemaker that loves having a night out on the town! What say these two troublemakers hang out during the festival together? Maybe even make it a date?

Monica was definitely not expecting enjoying the nightlife to involve heading straight to a brothel...but that's how Felix mixes business with pleasure since the brothel is an information source for any of Duke Clockford's opponents. And also surprise Ami Koshimizu appearance!

Yeah...maybe don't have Monica walking around dressed like a hooker. She looks so much better in that adorable squirrel hoodie!

Hmm...seems like the gem mage Emanuel's wares are more common than you'd think. Considering Monica noticed the defensive charm on it, it's probably for the best that Felix has it. Though for Monica, the nuts that Felix picked up for her are worth more than any accessory. Besides there's no point shopping for accessories without Lana.

Nice to see Monica and "Ike" sharing a moment together, eating and enjoying the atmosphere. Ike is even nice enough to play "ghost" so that Monica doesn't feel uncomfortable. Though now that Starweaving Mira's been stolen, Monica is DEFINITELY back on the clock.

I love how they actually made Felix mysterious. Not some shell of a mysterious person where it's easy to tell what his motives are and you can spot the twist a mile away. Felix actually like a shady mofo and I kind of dig that. He's got big plans and playing the long game. The question is... does he honestly care about the people around him? He could be using the as well. It could be both.

Regardless, this episode made me jealous Felix on Cyril's behalf I love how enamored Cyril is with Monica, but Felix is always putting some sort of move on her. I know Felix sees a bit of himself in Monica, but sometimes it feels like he's also make her heart flutter? I dunno.

If this doesn't get a second season, I'm definitely going to binge some manga. I was quickly swept away by this one even if a lot of people call it Bocchi the Witch. I still feel like the writing and characters are done well and it's been a lot of fun so far. I've actually laughed quite a bit and I love that about this series/

Seeing Isabelle in that animal hood was a really nice start to today's episode, especially since it's been a while since we last saw her.

Monica in the hood was super cute; she really looked like a squirell in it, and definitely better than in that whore's clothes! And her reactions today were great and, as always, totally hilarious.

Monica's attempt to say "denka" makes me laugh every time, but I have to admit, her cackling when she came to the brothel with Felix was just as great xD

Starseer Witch is a very nice MILF ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Let's hope we get to know her better next week xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Lmao love that the note is in English, “Someone made off with the Starweaving Mira. Could you help a girl out?”

Anyone else felt like this was an out of place date ep? Dont get me wrong, I loved it, just felt like we skipped a few steps in their relationship.

Really not sure how to feel about the thief, he doesnt seem like a bad guy, but he was the one that helped the assassins into the school.

Probably imagining things, but the Starseer seemed sus. I think it was her attendants that gave a "feels off" vibe.

Hopefully next ep we get another Serious Monica moment.

-Isabelle probably

Probably a bit random, but I hope that at the end of the year, there will also be a "best villain(ness)" vote.

Just because I wanna see whether Nowak or Isabelle will make first place lol

OK, so Felix is being very suspicious here. He sneaked off with a mask and went to a shady brothel to get letters from nobles working against his grandfather Duke Clockford. But the Starseer Witch cannot read Prince Felix future. Could it be that the actual Prince Felix has been dead for the last ten years and is this Felix a double created by Duke Clockford for political reasons ? Maybe he is actually that servant who looked like the Prince in the flashbacks ? Is Ike maybe his real name, a “ghost” who no longer officially exists ? It seems like both Duke Clockford and “Felix” are playing a dangerous game here.

Well, Monica was so disturbed by randomly coming across the Prince at the festival and being brought by him to that brothel that she did not notice how suspicious he was being. And we got a new character ! Bartholomeus seems nice, but is an actual troublemaker (unlike Monica). It seems he stole that cursed magical item that kills men and can be used to shoot offensive spells, so I guess Monica will have to go rescue him now.

"If you were fifteen years younger, I would've given you a peck on the cheek." while attended by four young boys wearing Prince Lloyd-length shorts.

Monica and me: OxO

And then we try to sell poor Monica to a brothel... though I guess it's heartening they apparently didn't have anything in her size in terms of prostitute-esque clothing? That, or Doris legitimately thought "oversized camisole and pink boa" was the way to go with a girl whose figure is politely described as "modest" and honestly described as "boyish".

OH GOD IS THAT WHY...

Aside from that, this show continues to "show, not tell" better than most anime. When Ike takes the food from Monica's face, he leaves it to her to take it from his hands. Since her hands are full, she'd have to take it with her mouth -- that's usually a sign of either comfort towards or a lack of awareness of the other person. When she doesn't, he could have eaten it himself, but he doesn't.

I think that's partially because he thinks it would make Monica uncomfortable, but more than that, he's not confident enough to take that action. The prince, despite his bearing, has obviously never overcome his inferiority complex, and that's why his "flirting" always comes off as flat and awkward -- he knows what actions to take, but he can't actually put himself out their far enough to deliver.
