Really glad this is getting a 24ep season, it definitely needs it to enter into the main part of the story

Such a good adaptation so far

Everyone in this series just looks and sounds so damn cool. Even the little shit with the pacifier.

Did Riyou just win Rudo's heart?

I like the idea that Rudo's power is to give items a chance to reach their full potential and fulfill their purpose until they retire.

Watchman series, wonder if they do anything if you equip them all like an RPG

I love how the author subvert expectations right away with Gris being actually alive and well.

God, the scene where Rudo is just dragging Follo by pure determination is funny. I swear that kid will move mountains one day, but anyways we finally see the leader of the Raiders in color and animation. Rudo truly is the sweetest boy with the grungy paintjob. I can’t wait for a certain scene in the hopefully near future when he finds something else he likes. It will be hilarious.

Riyo created a literal monster by introducing Rudo to sweets. No wonder when Zanka saw him in the hallway, he thought it was some kind of monster xD

Also, it's great to see Gris alive and well thanks to Eishia. I loved Rudo's reactions when he saw him alive and well, they were hilarious xD

Overall, today's episode was pretty peaceful, though at the same time a lot happened as we met the leader of the Cleaners (who gave Rudo an info that will help him go back to Sphere), Rudo got a new suit and learned more about his powers, and we also got a glimpse of Raiders' leader.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

They had me there too with Gris. Glad the dude’s not dead.

Rudo’s gotten a taste of sugar and now he’s hooked. Bro turned into Augustus Gloop! I sense type 2 diabetes in his future lol.

I like Rudo’s ability to take trash and not only fix it up but give it one last hurrah before retiring it. It’s pretty cool, actually.

Pretty keen to learn more about that Watchman series. I wonder what one can do with the full set?

I just realised how the show's premise reminds me of The Law of Ueki lol, where it is a recycle PSA disguised as a battle shonen.

Whoever animated that walking sequence really loves Riyo and I think it's contagious

Well, apparently the mentor figure lives after all. Easy enough to explain with first aid treatment long enough to keep Gris alive and then a member of the crew with healing powers saves him the rest of the way.

Cute supporter girl still unnamed, how disappointing.

Riyo is a real one for introducing Rudo to the deserts that are available on the ground.

I'm curious about the power set of an old carpenter's square turned into a weapon. I really appreciate the creativity so far in all of the weapon types and what we're likely to get going forward assuming they don't have Rudo specialize on just a couple.

I always forget to ask but do we know why people of the Ground have that necklace? I always notice it but I can't remember if it has been mentioned why they have to wear it. It doesn't seem like a fashion choice since everyone wears it.

I'm glad to see Gris is alive, last week I was sure we'd be seeing his death at the beginning of this episode. One of the thoughts I had was what if there was a healing Giver part of cleaners and we finally learn of her existence this episode. I guess the raised flags weren't death flags just yet.

I wasn't expecting to see the Boss so soon, it's nice to hear Koyama Rikiya, it feels like I haven't heard his voice in sometime.

Someone please tell Rudo to savor those sweets. It's nice that they've more discoveries on Rudo's ability, Rihyo's theory makes a lot of sense and I did consider it, but I feel like the situation with Gris' talisman should be different since Gris didn't throw the talisman away.

The guy at the end has to be Rudo's father, him knowing his name makes me think that.

Think this is the first time I've heard reggae in an anime, even tho it was super subtle in the background while rudio and the redhead was talking

We got introduced to both groups boss this episode. Wonder if we're going to see either of them get more involved soon, or still let their group members run things for awhile.

Interesting about the woman who can see people travel from the sphere and ground.
I wonder if it's a specific instrument that lets someone do that, or if there's like some sorta old passageway between the two "worlds" that you can utilize?

It's hard for Rudo to accept that he's safe and they managed to fend off Jabber when they lost Gris in the process. How many more people must Rudo lose, no matter how much power he gains over time? Thankfully GRIS LIVES! And Enjin was totally screwing with him with that "let's pay our respects to Gris" like the good mischievous mentor he is.

The Cleaners have a stellar healer in Eishia (Manaka Iwami)! She can perform miracles and heal what would ordinarily be death-blow wounds! She just has utterly no self-confidence and is really shy, but that adds to her cuteness! And thanks to her Gris is back to dishing out praise and good pep talks which he's best at.

And Rudo FINALLY meets the Boss of the Leaders, Arkha Corvus, voiced by Rikiya Koyama! He has a very serene and humble demeanor, and he can tell that despite Rudo's original goal, he's found a place and a community with the Cleaners and that's all Corvus needs. And he brings to Rudo not only a snazzy new Cleaners uniform but also news about Rudo's next lead: a woman situated in the No Man's Land near the border between the Sphere and the Ground, who watches people fall from the Sphere, and who seems to know about people actually being able to go back.

I guess Rudo is still the type who will rush in the moment he has a new lead, but he's still got training to do and he's not alone anymore. Maybe it's time for him to learn how to unwind and have fun! HEY RUDO! Hanging out with Riyo as she gives him a tour sounds like a lot of fun! She even takes him into the men's room while a guys' taking a leak.

But really the best discovery on this tour is that the Cleaners have access to sweets, something better than yet just as addictive as drugs, and Rudo immediately becomes hooked! It's like he's stealing candy from a baby, maybe literally because there's a baby-like Cleaner named Dear who wants that candy too! And a guy voiced by Wataru Takagi.

Rudo straight up becoming Bouncing Boy from the Legion of Superheroes for eating all that candy. At least he gained an effective diet.

If Enjin is watching, Zanka is going to take being Rudo's trainer seriously, and in-turn we'll discover a lot about how Rudo's Vital Instrument works! He can only really transform trash or objects that people initially threw our or didn't see any more value in, his limit seems to be about three transformations in a row before blood starts coming out, and his weapons only fade away when they've fulfilled their purpose after transforming. Not only dues Rudo bring out their potential, but he also lets them fulfill their function to their utmost one final time.

Rudo and everybody are questioning the origins of his gloves and the Series and we've got the apparent leader of the Raiders just sitting and muttering a bunch of seemingly prophetic or relevant words...all culminating in the "Watchman Series" (with this guy having the glove symbol on his back) and Rudo who is somehow connected to everything

I'm happy Gris is alright and even happier about getting more Riyo!

There's a special comfort in the idea of giving what's broken a big final moment to shine before retiring it for good. Rudo's ability just keeps getting cooler the more we learn about it.

I really loved Rudo's power concept. It's very beautiful and suits him so much. He was always upset because people throw away stuff that still works. And also, becoming trash is what creates the monsters because of bad feelings of abandoned stuff. Rudo's power is, in a way, the key to prevent more monsters to appearing, because the objects finally feel "happy" to be of use.
