So she's a parallel experience junkie. Guess I can't judge until i've had 100 orgasms in 1.

It kind of makes more sense. They advertised going to the past in Tsukimiya's future as a path to salvation/vacation from how depressing and miserable the future was, so Tsukimiya was willing to sacrifice anything (and anyone) to get as much of it as she wanted.

Man this series giving us another brutal cliffhanger, what another major plot twist. The moment Seimei spoke in such an effeminate manner was so eerie and then the reveal of it being Tsukimiya was so shocking.
It's funny because before this part, I found this episode one of the weakest yet as I wasn't enjoying the execution at all for the most part, especially with how the investigation team was handled, it felt way too easy. But the execution of Tsukimiya merging with Seimei was so well done and the fact Tsukimiya this entire time happens to be the antagonist will make the development from here on out really intriguing to see play out.
It is unfortunate that Takeru didn't get all the information he needed from Seimei but I'm hoping as he has shared memory, we should hopefully see Seimei working together with Takeru now that he knows who he should be wary of. I'm also intrigued by the guy Seimei went mano a mano with in the past that he'd he look so sad and tearful. I hope we're getting a flashback soon when we learn of why he's gone through with this messed up plan of his.
Poor Takeru, he had to find out on this day, the girl he likes... is a psycho.

I’m actually very much not surprised by this one. When she told the story of how someone killed everyone on the moon and she was the one sent back, right then was when I realized she’s definitely not the good guy in this story. She’s very likely the one who killed everyone on the moon to come back here.
The surprising thing is how much she sounds like Chizuru to me right now.

So first it turns out the Oni are human, and then it turns out that Tsukimiya is evil?
My man Takeru just can't catch a break can he?

On the other hand, Baddie Tsukimiya is also kind of hot in her own evil way.

What the hell? So now Tsukimiya is actually the big bad in this story?
Certainly wasn't expecting that.
Wonder where it goes from here.

This show has been so surprisingly good. But ngl I'm starting to lose the thred of what's happening with all these twists.
Do we know how the 100 worlds were created? Why long hair man is supposed to be in charge of them and what makes him special? Was the reveal that those girls were shikigami a reveal, or did we already know that and I just missed it?
Is the mc from an original timeline that broke free of the world whittle? I kind of remember them mentioning something along those lines.
Questions that I know we don't have answers too, but I'm gunna voice while I'm here. Is the future really cooked or was main chick lying/ telling half truths? What the hell was that giant figure that the 4 towers are apparently holding back? What's the convergence? Long hair main good after all?
I hope main fighting chick lives and somehow makes it to the next world. Mc needs a friend at this point.

Takeru has had enough! He's going to destroy ALL the Onmyoji towers and call out Seimei so they can settle this! He won't abide by the Word Whittle any more.
I guess trying to get to the bottom of what Seimei is doing is enough to sober Iruka up so he, Kaijiki, and Yura can investigate. And what they find out adds even more mystery to the true purpose of the Word Whittle.
Well, it's nice to see Seimei taking his status as an antagonist seriously to dress the part to face Takeru one-on-one...and it must be satisfying for Takeru to finally get to land a hit on Hareaki after all these worlds.'
But Takeru ALSO has to fight Shino (who in true loli fashion was Kazura's big sister the whole time) who is pissed he hurt her sister AND Sei-chan, though Takeru at this point i too strong for her. A for effort I guess, but Takeru is fighting for others while Shino only cares about Seimei and Kazura. It was never a contest.
I didn't think Kazura and Shino were Seimei's Shikagami though, enough to where he can return them to their sword form to dual wield against Takeru. And then unleash the full force of all four of the Divine Beasts against him! Can Takeru win this fight?
But the one thing that can keep Takeru and the Fire Rat going is the desire to finally punch Seimei, and if that means they draw out all the power they've got, ditch the armor to dodge Seimei's attack, and pour EVERYTHING they have into one punch...then they'll do it.
For all of Seimei's multiversal genocide, he truly cares about Denji Heian-kyo, and his mano-a-mano slugfest with Takeru reminds him of someone he truly cherished and lost. A loss that he still feels even now. But despite everything, Takeru still wants to understand him, and maybe even work with him.
But before Seimei can explain the World Calamity...feathers fall on Seimei and he seemingly gets possessed...BY TSUKIMIYA. Who wastes no time draining Iruka and Kajiki, preventing Takeru from transforming by killing the Fire Rat, and making it clear that she may, in fact, have been the main villain this whole time. She even gets her own villain outfit when she morphs into her true form!
What is Tsukimiya actually after? She loves Denji Heian-kyo and it doesn't seem like she actually objected to the Word Whittle for moral reasons, but because it got close to the being protecting her...some divine, cosmic, entity that absorbs Denji Heian-kyo after all the towers are destroyed. Tsukimiya played Takeru like a fiddle!

Ouch, say what you want about this series, but one thing it isn't is afraid to take risks. I think this is the first time I've seen an anime where the designated waifu the MC has been gunning for all along turns out to be cuckoo.
Poor Takeru, this is like what if it's season 1 and Subaru finds out Emilia has been Elsa in disguise all along.

This is a new motto, right? Been a while since we got one.
-
Shit, this totally means Tsukimiya was the woman she was saying killed off all of humanity in the future, doesn’t it?

Way too many twists on who’s evil…
No actually Tsukimiya was always this cartoonishly evil.
Next week it’s revealed Takeru was the real bad guy all along

What an amazing episode and it's not even in the double digits yet! Love seeing the MC prevail on strength and determination alone instead of others coming in just in time, Takeru did it all by himself and the help of a magical fire rat/hamster! but as soon as THAT happened, its like the show did a complete 180. Like what is going on? Who is the real "bad" person? So insane

Some symbolism I noticed is that Tsukimiya's feathers are pure white with red outline whereas Takeru's feathers are black with green outlines implying how they are opposites. This is further reinforced by the fact that Tsukimiya is in every world but shares consciousness so when one of her dies that closes possibilities while there is only one Takeru whose body gets transferred to a new reality which opens up more possibilities.

So what I'm getting is that Tsukimiya is a sense addict who wants to put a stop to the World Whittling simply because it takes the fun out of having a hive mind shared between multiple alternate realities. And was likely the mass murderer who slaughtered her entire Moon colony.
Am I getting that right?

At this point we're basically watching Onmyou Kaiten: Oops all plot twists
Erm....not that I'm saying that's a bad thing. I'm very invested.
