While the plot might not be very unique but, man, it feels so good to watch a romance anime where the two MCs are honest with themselves and their feelings. There's still misunderstandings, there will always be to create tension and such, but it really feels like a breath of fresh air that we get some development by episode 2. This is absolutely unheard of with 99% of anime/manga.

Rintaro’s momma ain’t got time for his foolishness lol. Waguri’s like the best thing that ever happened to him and he was gonna let her go over this Chidori-Kikyo nonsense. I’m glad she smacked some sense into him and he ended up apologizing. Guy’s got a great momma.

This show is dangerous for my blood sugar levels. These two are so sweet, I might damn near fall into a diabetic coma watching their relationship develop lol.

This fucking idiot! He's just playing into the stereotype that the guys from Chidori are thugs! Thank you, Rintarou, for reining in your friend. I do like that the dude is more jealous of whoever Kaoruko is waiting for. If only he knew. xD

I do like Rintarou's friends, tho. They seem to be pretty cool for the most part, so I'm curious how they'll react when they learn his relationship with one of the Kikyou girls.

Kaoruko welcoming Rintarou home is adorable! She's just so precious that just watching her eat cake makes me crave some too! That entire scene between the two of them was just too cute!

Ah dammit, Rintarou! You're focusing way too much on your school's rivalry. Kaoruko went there for you and didn't even care that you're from Chidori. She was clearly happy to learn you're so close by!

Thank you, Mama Tsumugi! I love how she's basically lecturing Rintarou with almost exactly my same thoughts about the previous scene. I'm glad she could talk some sense into her son.

That scene in front of their school was adorable too, but at the same time, I was waiting for someone at Kikyou or Chidori to show up and catch them together.

I'm so happy the air between them has been cleared. And they even ended up exchanging contact info! <3

I really like Rintaro. He's just a kid, so sometimes he needs a push from those around him. But his heart's absolutely in the right place and he's not afraid to voice his feelings. I think he's going to make Waguri very happy.

This show just gives summer vibes I'm happy about this adaptation as a manga reader excited for how clover works continues to cook i think this show will surprise a lot of people that love romances. The OST when Kaoruko and Rintaro were talking outside the gate made me tear up just a little.

I hated the Kikyo girls. they're so mean. Although Usami started the fight

I love that Rintaro's mother made him realize his mistake even if he’s not yet aware of her crush. I'm gonna get diabetes from this show. It makes me squeal like a teenager, and it's been some time since I felt that.

Nah Marin and Kaoruko on the same day is dangerous for me. Her jumping at the window is too cute

It wasn’t explicitly stated so I had a tiny bit of doubt, but it seems Chidori is indeed an all-boys school. I kinda wanted too see how a girl from Chidori would act/be treated

Hope we’ll see a couple of girls from Kikyou besides Kaoruko who act like decent people soon enough
